  • Team guys don't wear this, G-shocks are free issue and used by 95% of the community. This is a now $2000 watch. F&%# THAT!!! Only wannabe's will buy and wear these to act like Team Guys. (The reason why it exist)

  • THAT CROWN WILL GET KNOCKED OFF, I KNOW, BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT, BAD DESIGN, VERY BAD FOR A REAL DIVER, SEAL, SF, OR SAS, FORCE RECON , RANGER, SWAT, SEARCH AND RESCUE, FIRE FIGHTER, ETC, ETC .!

  • OK... so they claim that the Navy Seals use this watch. The Seals use Luminox watches more than this crap, and they hardly ever even use Luminox even though it was specifically designed for them. The tritium and Superluminova barely glow on this watch.

  • but how did you get that watch?

  • are you related to kim cantrell by any chance? i like cougars, id like her number.

  • No offense but you sound like a total geek.

  • dude wear that for 2yr and you will find out how unreliable this watch is .DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY .

  • the watch falls apart not worth the price .try it If you want to waste your money. looks awesome performs like a cheap watch.

  • @font39 THIS WATCH IS WORTH AT THE MOST $10.00 AT WAL-MART, BETTER YET $5.99AT WAL-MART, ALL THE FANCY SHIT DON'T ADD UP, , IT JUST A FANCY GOD DANED TOY.! GET A G-SHOCK FOR $49. AND BE A HAPPY CAMPER.! 99.% OF ALL US NAVY SEALS DIVES DO NOT GO BEYOND 60 TO 70 METERS, WTF.? STUPID MORONS ARE MORE IN LOVE WITH THE GOD DAMNED TECHNOLOGY THAN THEY ARE WITH "REALITY", "REALITY, WHAT A CONCEPT.?", GOT THAT RIGHT.!

  • MTM watch company sucks I bought a thunder hawk special forces watch from this company and iam totally dissapointed about this watch performance.is not scratch proof .under water performance very poor bolts around the watch fell off. battery life sucks. complete rip off for price tag $400.00 this watch should be sold for $49.99.

  • "Tritium is not used very often in watches" "The Tritium makes this watch even more unique" .........Nowadays you can go to nearly any sporting goods store and find a watch using Tritium in it. Aside from the extremely popular Luminox and Traser brands, there's about 20 other smaller brands using Tritium.

  • G-shock gulfman and g-shock frogman are the ones used by the teams

Although the G-shock frogman costs $350 and the other costs $450 or $500.

Also the G-shock Gulfman only costs $100.

    Pretty impressive from Casio eh?

Also don't forget the g-shock mudman but idk if the SEAL teams use that.

  • Sorry, I don't see this being all that. Oil filled, really? If I go that deep I hope to be in a sub. Then you have to send it in for a new battery? The knob looks like it would really dig into your arm if you wear on your left hand.

I have a Traser Chrono and love it. Swiss made, Tritium markings are bright, water proof to 200 m, keeps perfect time, and cost 1/4 of this thing.

  • nice watch

  • No special op or SEAL would wear that watch. We only wear cheap, plastic G-Shock watches. Metal is forbidden, from training to operations. If the watch gets stuck onto something, it's the watch that has to go away, not the wrist. At SEALS, any metal band watch is a big no no. We use G-shock watches, they're cheap. We use only plastic/resin and black models. We use black tape to cover everything but time display and reduce as possible light from backlight when used.

  • I'll just go ahead and save you a Google search. The watch costs $1950.

  • @javabaja lol

  • wht is the meaning of the bar?

i have one of g-shock its says 20bar wr.

  • @vikobmusa 20 bar - 200m

  • i got a 110 dollar luminox with tritium gas tubes, AND a double folding clasp. =P

  • This watch costs more than my first car.

  • cool

  • well a 10 year battery isn't impressive... even my 20 $ casio has a 10 year battery... but otherwise good review

  • Is this watch the best or what? Are any other mtm watches filled with silicone oil? I want a new watch!

  • Comment removed

  • I think 99.9% of the owners of this watch are sad pathetic losers who think it will make their bi weekly ymca lap swims more extreme.

Get real, SEALs wont have this toy on their wrist. Its silly ass marketing to fatasses who want to be associated with an exclusive community. You wanna be more like a seal, swim 3 miles a day and run a mile and a half to and from breakfast lunch and dinner.

  • @powervikingandy I'm 13 and i would love to have one of these watches not just because they are made by a renowned company that Special forces and other Military units worldwide use, but simply put THEY ARE FUCKING SICK

  • Does the USN get some cash for putting its name on stuff?

  • Silky smooth like your wifes ass!

  • It is not filled with Silicone Oil. It is filled with Astro-Glide, in case you need to rub one out in the field. And I like the extreme angle viewing option, really helps out when I am 69ing with your old lady! Your a hack

  • at about 5:10 I fell out of bed trying to see what he was talking about...

  • Comforting to know that even if your submarine is crushed by extreme pressures, your watch will still be working.

  • quite a cool effect

  • @priority2 Yes, so you can know while your body is crushed like an egg at what time you are dying!

  • 1950?

  • $1950 i have one

  • how much is this puppy?

  • Cool vid,

But this watch is way out of my price range so can you please do a watch review for the patriot????

I've already owned a hawk so thinking of upgrading!! Cheers mr cantrell

  • On their website they say its a solid titanium case, not stainless steel as you say and it says 1,200 meters not 12,000 which would make it 3,300 feet waterproof

  • SILKY SMOOTH , LMFAO

  • One of the person I know said everybody on his team uses the DW6900 G-Shock, hes never heard of anybody using a 100$+ watch

  • I really love the casio g-shock line...the only problem is when you hit the light button. Every mofo from miles out knows where you are. I would try a Chase Durer or a Lum-Tec watch. Most people who buy these watches aren't in any sort of special forces group. Just to remain fair...me and my buddies used casio g-schocks.

  • Try the Dievas watches they are much better looking and just a fraction of the price.

  • Every one of you would gladly wear one if given one on X-mas Day. There wouldnt be one "Hey take this piece of shit out of my face" I know I want one right now. Its filled with oil!!!

  • i was with the army rangers 75 reg ill tell ya right now no one in th military will ever use this watch for mulit reasons 1 it states usa speical ops 2 way to heavy to wear on missions n 3 just a complete waste of money way to much i used a cheap luminox or iron man gets the job done mtm r great watches but way over price

  • i like the carbon dial

  • This thing claims to be used in the Teams.

None of the guys I know in the Teams use this, if you want a real watch used in the Teams, then get a G-Shock Gulfman.

They're tougher, and 1/10 the price.

  • @chilledkirby No. No metal bands are allowed in operations because of risk on injury if it gets stuck anywhere. Metal does noise. Spec Ops watches are : plastic, black, cheap (we crawl on the ground against mud and rocks and watches suffer a lot). 99 % of us SEALS use cheap G-shock models (positive display, negative is crap you can't read it without light using light from moon). All those so-called Spec Ops watches is crap. Cheap black resign G-Shock is what we use, all of us.

  • The Gulf Man is not a metal band, it's resin. It's outer metal parts are made of titanium so it doesn't rust when "we" are kicking ass in salt water. It's SEALs, by the way. You have your stuff right for the most part though.

  • @chilledkirby Damn right on that, I'm enjoying my 4765 and I payed 109 bucks for it.

  • @chilledkirby

Hell, they use Luminox more than this crap. And they barely even wear Luminox. One in ten SEALs wears a Luminox, 9 out of ten wear G shocks.

  • lulz, the 5 in the number 15 showed up better on my scrren then the hands!

  • PEICE OF SHIT

  • when he turned the light off, nothing happened!!lol, shit was funny as hell!!! i was crack up!llolololol

  • Give me a break, Firstly , you sound like Egon from 'Ghostbusters" and secondly, who can take seriously a brand called 'SPECIAL OPS' ?!! Its going to take more than a matt black finish and making the crown look like a Socket head bolt.. I'm sure that no actual military personnel would use this awful fashion item. Maybe gung ho paintballers and '24' geeks with too much money. I have an Omega Seamaster that is beautifully engineered and cost £1200. Thats a real watch, not a toy.

  • Oh please, stop being so ostentatious, and relax. Who cares what he sounds like.

Any watch which keeps time is a "real" watch.

  • Knowing that any quartz 10$ watch its more accurate than a 300K$ gyrotourbillon, i approve your comment as hard as i can!

  • hey guys its a great watch i have one i am with the swcc but the navy does not use this becuase when doing ops missions you can not idenfy your self as a usa soilder so we hardly ever use it the ones that we use are traser n lumniox cant go wrong

  • nice though but not worth 1600 bucks

  • I am not sure if I am the only one thinking this, but how is it that a Navy Seals, special ops, etc... etc.. watch needs to be charged once a month? I am guessing that in extreme conditions and situations, a watch that lasts longer would be more sufficient. For example, I am assuming that a Citizen eco-drive or a Seiko Kinetic would be more dependable. Not that I own any of those watches, but it just makes more sense. Am I wrong?

  • yeah your right ....i can get a watch for 50 pound what would be better than this ...it should have the longest lasting battery etc.....you hit the nail on the head

  • LAME, not very original

  • u missed the "very very silky smooth"

which is a very strange way to describe a watch

  • how much costs the watch??

  • dude, it's like 1600 bucks.

  • Who dives down to 12,000 feet??? Nice watch but the depth rating is nothing but braggin' rights material.

  • 12,000 meters, thats 39,000 feet! the sea doesnt get any deeper than that!

  • Do you think anybody wants a roundhouse kick to the face while I'm wearin' this bad boy

  • Cool watch! I want to know a couple things about HAWK series.

Does it have a compass function?

What happen when I loose electromagnetic induction charger? Is there any way I don't need to recharge completely like some Seiko Kinetic watches?

  • this is a clone of kienzle the deepest watch.....

  • I am the proud owner of the exact same watch!I have took it to Iraq and it has been blown up along with me twice now and it and myself are still going strong. I actually have been accosted because of wearing this watch. People that recognize it have came up to me and have asked to see it. I destroyed a Suunto and an Animal watch, but this one has remained sturdy and faithful for two years now.

  • Cool watch but it would be made even cooler if it was mechanical.

  • specialopswatch is the website! check it out

  • specialops is the website for these watches

  • these watches are awesome

  • I couldn't see the tritium to :WTF?:

This watches will be perfect without all this military crap logos on dials and backside - just need only MTM logo.

  • dude, google gtls.

Its not as bright as SuperLuminova, but what it does is it maintains that luminescence for like 12 years.

Besides, after your vision adjusts to the dark, the illumination is more than adequate.

  • didnt see crap

  • I couldn't see the tritium at all.

  • what's the price tag on one of these?

  • $660

  • wrong this watch goes for $1800. the other watches from mtm are about $450 to 660!

  • This watch in the video is the Xtreme ops seal squad watch and no other watch can go to 12,000 meters as this watch can.

  • MTM watches are the best.. I own the MTM Special Forces Patriot.

  • Very similar to the clasp in any seiko....

  • amidyville, go seek therapy

  • Sinn, from Finland, has been using fluids in their watches for years. I guess the copyright expired. And PVD coating will wear off. I waiting for a watch w/Flat Black Ceramic or Tungsten for a material that will NEVER change. 300m, Ceramic or tungsten case & band, Swiss Auto, tritium hands, would be the ingredients to the ultimate watch.

  • Sinn is a German firm, not finnish. The steel they use for their watches is the same used on submarines - withstanding salt and sea water. Excellent watches

  • indeed, the GSG-9 one has oil inside too, but the techomarine abyss has the feature also. Overall, although the mtm costs twice the Sinn.

  • is it me or did nobody see anything when he turned the lights off?

  • @designator99 ax0o0oaxxa0oxa0oxa0o you can see it if you use a lighter

  • @designator99 its the camera the lens doesnt allow enough light in for the digital sensor to pick it up could use overall beter camera or larger lens with aperture fully opened

  • nice thingie

  • SINN and B&R have the same concept, i not feely this so much no nice carbon dial trendy, seiko look better and cheaper think pvd models auto divers 200m who gonna dive more than that? useless kak for rich twat

  • i have it it´s good very good and i have the mtm vulture

  • Por muy duradero que sea no entiendo como puede costar 1700€ siendo tan simple.

Por que te puedes comprar un g shock y seguro que hace el mismo servivio.

    saludos

  • Awesome watch. You can dive in the Mariana trench, if you can, with no problem.

  • I just googled the Mariana trench. It is quite deep. I think you might need a torch!

  • A really interesting review & a nice watch. However, although it is very high spec, the price I just got for this watch, when I ggogled it was £1050, which seems expensive (my Tag Heuer Aquagraph cost me £1500, and that's an extreme diver also). That said, great video of a great timepiece. See you in the water!

  • Great watch but I went with the Titanium Silver Warrior version. The MTM Special Ops company produces some of the most rugged military watches in the market. I have spent years researching rugged military time pieces and the MTM Special Ops line so far has my vote for highest quality and styles. Definitely worth spending 500 - 700 dollars on a watch that will last you for years in the field.

  • Okay, you talked me into it. One is on the way.

  • If only I had the money, I'd be with you.

Maybe in a few years after school...

  • woohooo! nice thing...

  • Please upload the review of the Citizen Eco Drive I'm dying to see it.

  • want

  • i looked on line and there $1,800

  • Loving this watch...Its on the Xmas list! Fingers crossed

  • Great review. I've never seen a liquid-filled watch before.

  • a little more than the previous model. but with the features i guess it evens out
