I have a "Roseman" but its like playing a bag of rusty old nails... poor thing, the bridge is cracked and a few notes dont tune proper, and it has no control over the softness etc... need new one!
Very good version I enjoyed listening. I see you have two microphones clipped to the left and right of the piano. What systemdo you record to. Your sound quality is as excellent as your playing( 5 stars from me). I use a samsung S1030 10 MP camera but the sound qual is nowhere as good as yours. Let me know if you can. Regards David
Hey, thx. I recorded the vid with my photocamera which has horrible sound.
I just keep that track so I can dub it over later. The microphones are connected to my USB mixer panel on top of the piano... it's a Yamaha MW10. I hooked it onto a laptop to record the audio. I use an old Soundforge 4.5 to record the audio. Did a little equalization but nothing fancy. And added a little reverb to spice it up.
The mics are om SE electronics. Their not specially fo piano but good enough.:)

The piano is a Rameau, it's basicly a closed part of the Pleyel Factory. (french piano)
I bought it second hand but it plays sweet.
It's got a heavy touch though... but a soft tone.
I've loosn't the touch by moving the hammers extra close to the strings to emulate a piano with a light touch !
