Why is it so necessary to pay ? tribute to people who are doing what they were intended to do, public service? It is a privilage . It's the universities including Emory that seem to spend a great deal of time and money honoring individuals who with their own courage and conviction have affected change. I'm sure Alice did not do it for the applause and acolaids. Once again Gloria seems to miss the real point.
