@xridethelightningx not really he was a total beast for me. then again i may have just gotten very lucky with the RNG because my soren capped all of his stats at lvl 17 archsage only used 1 speedwing soon after i got him thats it. and the rest of my people were way better than in my first playthrough

@Poptartza well, i was just referring to how dark magic is so inaccurate compared to the other magics. balberith only has 75 accuracy while every other tome is around 100. the A support with heaven gives a nice +27 accuracy that really isn't useful on anyone else but pelleas.

@SuperPikachu012 When you get to the part when Pelleas wants you to kill him, select "Disobey his command", then Micaiah will save Pelleas life, and he will join you later. Hope I helped.

@GURGLEGUY12345 Well, im sure you dont care anymore, but i will assume that the light magic causes damage right to the brain due to the intencity of the spell, then there is also the fact that the light could very well burn you.

As for darkness, i belive its because darkness is essentially poison, without the over-time effects. Balberith makes that noticable by gathering a very large amount of poison directly inside the targets mid-section and causing it to expand outward with tememdous force

@raylegend33 That's probably the most plausible explanation for Light that I've heard, though such a gruesome death doesn't sound very fitting to be caused by one bound to the clergy. As for Dark, well, I dunno, poison seems a little far-fetched...

Maybe a Lv.2, but not Lv. 1. It is literally impossible for Ilyana to have 45 HP at Lv.1 because her HP cap as a thunder sage is 40, and she gains 4 HP upon promotion. 40+4=44.

I think a helpful way would be to start a new file with a PoR transfer, Ilyana is much better on path of radiance. Make sure you do not have any easy mode files on the memory card (Epilogue or not). There is this weird glitch that makes the wii freeze if you transfer it when there is an easy mode file.

I was planning on trying that after this playthrough, but.....in a complete contrast to my last game, I gave Ilyana Paragon and prayed. She wound up maxing everything but luck when she reached a level 20 Thunder Sage. Second tier, but...holy crap.

Nevertheless, I'll give that a shot once I finish PoR.

I don't know why this game got such a bad review - I loved it. The only problems I had were that there were too many super strong people, and you couldn't choose what to do when upgrading someone. I loved that bit of The Sacred Stones.

No it doesn't; you can still play on easy if you wish. A few things I would recommend you do though - send out the Black Knight in Part 1 Endgame. Get Soren to attack Miciah in Rivals Collide. Get Ike to fight the Black Knight in Rivals Collide. Choose to "Refuse his command" when Pelleas asks to die. Have Soren attack Pelleas in Part 3 Endgame. Send Soren out in Part 4 Endgame.

May sound like a lot of work, but trust me: it's worth it!
