Thanks for sharing this. I downloaded a condensed article for free from the Royal Society.Tesla studied Thomson alot. No doubt he knew about this and the other side article about dielectrics becoming conductors. Thomson figured out that the Rontgen rays (later called Xrays) when passed through a charge plate, no matter how insulated it was, would cause the plate to lose it's charge and also stated that in these rays, all substances become conductive including dielectrics. interested but according to his patent, he considered these rays as particles of matter, along with sunlight and UV, called radiant energy as being able to reverse the charge of his insulated charged plate. Actually, what Tesla has created in that patent was an analogue version of a semiconductor such as a PN junction like what is now used in solar panels, LED's etc in the days before photodetectors and diodes which would have made his work even more abundant and simpler.

I think you're right. A guy called Thomas Trawoeger has just open sourced a pyramid which produces 20 watts or so of free energy. He has issued over 3 hours of video and step by step instructions. He has invented a device he calls a reactor. It contains quartz sand and guess what? He CHARGES it with HV prior to it working. It's on you tube right now. Try building the device in Tesla's patent, then see how it behaves.

It's just a plate and a vibrating contact connected to ground through a telephone earpiece (or nowdays use an audio amplifier too.) It's a primitive nano-ampere detector, since the slightest current in or out of the plate will cause a buzz in the earphone. Probably you'd have to shield it inside metal window screen in order to block all the 60Hz voltage fields in your house.

Not exactly. I've experimented with Tesla radiant energy circuit and it was apparent that it was drawing electricity from the atmosphere and the power output would actually vary depending on the weather. Also, distant lightning strikes could be observed in the power output. I could use it to almost flawlessly predict the weather.
