@1998Kozmo Far as i know yes, but it can kill them. I never been stung by them, if anything i was going to get removed would be their claws lol. However, i havent been pinched or stung before, they pretty passive.

@kcmanns The only other less aggressive scorpion is flat rock scorpion. But scorpions are like people some are dicks and some arnt. Good luck raising a scorpion thats not a dick. I had a 4/5 nice scorpions and 1 dick... so far that dick ate all 4 of the nice ones now im only left with it...

All my scorpions still have their stingers, with venom in it. But emperor scorpions have a very mild sting, equivalent to that of a bee sting. Also they hardly ever try to sting, so their venom doesn't concern me.

@Enayetproductoins These type of scorpions (Emperor scorpions) are very docile and rarely attack. I have never been stung or pinched, and they don't bite. Like all animals they can sence fear so as long as your not scared of them they shouldn't be scared of you. (Not saying they wont run or anything like that) But they are very good pets because of their doliceness and the simplicity that goes into caring for their tank.

@kcmanns I think i'm going to get an emperor scorpion. But you say they arent very aggressive yet I heard that they are very aggressive. My friend has one and every time you touch the damn tank it like spazzez the fuck out haha...is there like...certain ones that are aggressive and ones that arent? And if there are how do I tell which scorpions arent fucking crazy aggressive like my friends haha.

They eat just about all insects that all smaller then them. Some been known to eat small mammals too, like baby mice.

im getting my first one in a couple of weeks, its a redclaw scorpion, and then i may get an emperor or two, i love exotic pets, i had a green iguana for about 6 years, i have 2 ferrets, a wolf, maybe getting another iguana, and i have a large fishtank with oscars, sharks, bull catfish, and ropefish, anyway, to the point, any particular advice you can give me? they will be my first arachnids, so i need any good advice, and yours seem pretty happy

lol, ya... Dont poke them with stick if your afraid it will be afraid of you also when i try and pick mine up in the cage they will turn in circles so i cant get the tail right away but they tier out, also what i like to do whenthey have their claws out use ur fingers and make them wider then theirs claws (spred apart i mean) and it discurages them. You have to touch there claws, at first they will try to widen their reach too. But never be afraid of your scorpions they do very little pain.

To answer your question, yes to all three. Well only my big one pinches me but it never hurts and he never does it for self defense he does it to see what i am then he stops no pain comes of it, also very easy pets to take care of you feed them only like 2-3 times a week and are fun to have for when friends come over and you try yo get them to hold it lol.
