Ex: Popes bought the most expensive horses with the offerings. So he wanted to protest against the church. This is where we get the term "protest"ant. This was a branch away from catholics to end corruption.
Also Christianity is more of a life style. We can't do anything to gain our way to Heaven, it is through the works of Jesus that we may have a relationship with God and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. @MrFakegods Good god settle down. The Bible is at the very least based on partial truths, I would say that a very large portion of Christians don't believe the bible is the be all end all. Personally I believe the bible originated as a way of explaining that which was unexplainable at the time. For example Noah's Arc can be an explanation of floods that happened regularly around the Mediterranean coast, if you look into any other religions originating in that region the have similar tales.

All other religions are branched off of that and man made religions. Their is a separation from biblical and regular historical facts, but both are beneficial to learn and neither holds you down from learning the other.
@MrFakegods Also Timothy 2 :12 talks about how a wife should not rebel against her husband and you will find if you read the bible, for instance the book of matthew, that the husband should respect the wife. This doesn't mean men are greater than women. Proverbs 31 is a perfect chapter of the perfect type of woman God desires to have in this world. But God doesn't desire a perfect women because that is unatainable, but He instead wrote about the image of a perfect woman. The BIGGEST difference I see between Catholics and Christians are that Catholics pray to mary and other religious figures like the pope. They also think she is perfect and that Jesus wasn't the highest prophet and Jesus isn't the only way to God

"catholic," is means, "as a whole," and is a synonym for Christian. The Roman Catholics are only Christians who come from Rome. They have their own beliefs. What I'm guessing you mean by Christian is Protestants, who came out of the Reformation after Lutherans.

Catholics believe in transubstantiation, while Protestants believe in the bread and wine representing body and blood. Lutherans would believe that it is somehow both at the same time. All three are Christians. They all do communion, just differently. We read out of the same Bible, and believe many of the same things, just differently.

When no one took him seriously, Lutheranism started, leading to the rest of the Reformation. Different types of Protestants do things different ways, too, but it would be inaccurate to say that not all of us are Christian. I'm glad you're interested in the topic though. I love those studies.

@MrFakegods This totally contradicts Christianity because we pray to God and Jesus only prayed to God. Also romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." This means Mary wasn't perfect. Romans later talks about how Jesus was the only perfect one and because He conquered sin we may be saved. It also says "I (I meaning Jesus) am the way, the truth, and the light, no one comes to the father except through me. So Christians believe Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
@MrFakegods Now about Genesis 19:30-36. I totally remember reading this. At first I was like what the heck, I thought this is forbidden today!?!?!? I started to question God thinking He contradicts himself. The thing I learned was the law of Moses was not created at this time. With no law comes no accusation. So there was no law at the time saying "dont have sex with your dad," it isn't until the law of Moses, also known as the Ten Commandments, where we see God's laws.

I was raised in a Christian home, had the loving Christian parents whose love seemed almost surreal at times. Two years ago my mom grew cold to God, and her family, and eventually left my dad. It seemed as though nothing could bring my mom back.
Over the course of many months, God slowly took hold of my mom until she finally came back to Him-completely broken.
This song played as my parents renewed their wedding vows last March. This year they will be celebrating 27 years of marriage.

@MrFakegods Good god settle down. The Bible is at the very least based on partial truths, I would say that a very large portion of Christians don't believe the bible is the be all end all. Personally I believe the bible originated as a way of explaining that which was unexplainable at the time. For example Noah's Arc can be an explanation of floods that happened regularly around the Mediterranean coast, if you look into any other religions originating in that region the have similar tales.

Yes, i will agree that some stuff in there were explanations to stuff like wars, and Disasters, In the middle-eastern world. Now this stuff can be explained easily now. To me faith it is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I have faith my friends will quick drinking and smoking every friday, but it doesn't mean it will happen. So technically we can't prove God or the Bible right which is true, but I also agree with your statement that it is about faith, but then comes the question of what is faith.

@FLchick94 Demons didn't have faith, but they believed in God. Many people at my school say they believe in God. Well that is cool, but doesn't mean they are saved. Putting faith in God is giving your life to Him and calling on Him in times of need and praising Him in times of prosperity. Also its crazy that the Bible predicts Jesus's coming to earth numerous times. One example is Jeremiah 31. The Bible is amazing because it all connects even though it was written a couple thousand years apart.

@MrFakegods Also Timothy 2 :12 talks about how a wife should not rebel against her husband and you will find if you read the bible, for instance the book of matthew, that the husband should respect the wife. This doesn't mean men are greater than women. Proverbs 31 is a perfect chapter of the perfect type of woman God desires to have in this world. I am currently studying different religions and have found that catholics and christian are very different.

But God doesn't desire a perfect women because that is unatainable, but He instead wrote about the image of a perfect woman. The BIGGEST difference I see between Catholics and Christians are that Catholics pray to mary and other religious figures like the pope. They also think she is perfect and that Jesus wasn't the highest prophet and Jesus isn't the only way to God

"catholic," is means, "as a whole," and is a synonym for Christian. The Roman Catholics are only Christians who come from Rome. They have their own beliefs. What I'm guessing you mean by Christian is Protestants, who came out of the Reformation after Lutherans.

Catholics believe in transubstantiation, while Protestants believe in the bread and wine representing body and blood. Lutherans would believe that it is somehow both at the same time. All three are Christians. They all do communion, just differently. We read out of the same Bible, and believe many of the same things, just differently.

@ParisPr0ducti0ns (con't again, sry) Martin Luther didn't even want to start the Reformation, and was fine being catholic, he just wanted to change some things. When no one took him seriously, Lutheranism started, leading to the rest of the Reformation. Different types of Protestants do things different ways, too, but it would be inaccurate to say that not all of us are Christian. I'm glad you're interested in the topic though. I love those studies.

@pantachromestar Christianity was the first religion. It means "little Christ" because when Jesus left his followers were to be like Jesus so others could hear of his name. Religion is nowadays thought of as something where we ourselves try to get closer to God and therefore save ourselves. Christianity is the belief that Jesus died to save us and we cannot do anything to save ourselves. Catholics branch off of Christianity. They are more old school. Ex: They go to a pope to confess vs God

@MrFakegods This totally contradicts Christianity because we pray to God and Jesus only prayed to God. Also romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." This means Mary wasn't perfect. Romans later talks about how Jesus was the only perfect one and because He conquered sin we may be saved. It also says "I (I meaning Jesus) am the way, the truth, and the light, no one comes to the father except through me. So Christians believe Jesus is the only way to Heaven.

@MrFakegods Now about Genesis 19:30-36. I totally remember reading this. At first I was like what the heck, I thought this is forbidden today!?!?!? I started to question God thinking He contradicts himself. The thing I learned was the law of Moses was not created at this time. With no law comes no accusation. So there was no law at the time saying "dont have sex with your dad," it isn't until the law of Moses, also known as the Ten Commandments, where we see God's laws.

Also, they say God doesn't care what they're doing, but that's just an excuse. They know He does. Their version of the Bible says so.

Actually, there has been a case where, as a family member WATCHED a person's leg literally grow 4 inches longer after being prayed over! (the person was born with one leg shorter than the other) It was described as "a jerking motion" when the leg slowly grew. And this was not only witnessed by a family member, but an entire CROWD! Leowolf has been harassing this and mighty to save's comments for almost a whole year. Lauging at us when we try to correct him and hoping to get the boards shut off. Have you senn his youtube channel and his page? How can youtube allow such a channel. SO disrepectful so bad and yet its there. Youtube doesnt care and I dont think it will kick him out for spamming. Youve argued him like how many times? He still goes in a large circle that he repeats. I dont know though, if you are doing it because you want to help save him, then keep going, but if you want to punish him or report him then all I can say is leave that to God. Im sure glad God has mercy on us.

@cowsaymoo2x to be honest i'm gonna protest everytine he harasses our religion. not everything he posts is reportable unfortunatly he's entitle to his own opinons, it's when he starts harassing cristianity on the page for a year thats when i get ticked off. he can't wein agains god an he knows it all he can do is dodge insult and change subject. but i plan to report any "cyber bulling" he does until he goes away.

Beautiful song! It is amazing what God can do in people's lives. :) He truly has unfailing everlasting love for us...and btw, sin came into the world because of mans' choice to disobey. Just because things go wrong in our life, doesn't mean God is ignoring or forgetting you, it's a test to see if you can really rely on Him to stay strong. ;) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! :D

I know and understand, but doesn't it say in the Bible I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, so by understanding that, wouldn't it be possible to not get angry. God isn't just gonna make you not angry, He will give you chances to not be angry and to show your love, ya know.

@IluvJC33 it is our duty to correct a sinner and not sit idle as he blaspems, through scriptual and moral instruction. if that fails we are to stop trying to "correct" his behavior and ask that person to trspect our beliefs and leave. That person has his own comments and channel he does not need to come to this one and flame it with hate speech because he doesn't like it or us christians.
