Great song; George and Glen knew that "family" had a major impact on our lives, Leave it to the Cats to remind us even today of what is really important along life's journey. Hug you wife and kids and do it often. If we live to 70, we would have seen 25000+ sunrises and sunsets. Never start or end a day without the LORD or without thanking God for your loved ones and do your best to turn troubles over to the LORD.
Your dad was one of the best piano players I have ever heard, but I guess you know that. I just saw an old clip of the Cats singing "Yesterday" and Lornes playing was just beautiful!!
This song is really incredible if you have followed Southern Gospel. I've never heard any other song on this premise. Besides that, no one could have sung it like George Younce. He sang several family-oriented songs, like "That's What Jesus Means to Me," or "Thanks to Calvary." You can really sense the emotion he expressed when singing them. He must have had deep genuine love for his family, because the feeling he expressed in songs like this one is so natural and pure.
thumbs up for Glen n George n the rest of the guys
