Firstly, I am thankful that Dr Mercola has appoved a couple of negative criticisms in the comment section. Secondly, this interview (although being unnecessarily long for such a simple workout concept) is helpful in that it provokes my curiousity as to how the increased growth hormones in professional sprinters have benefitted their physical appearance. I will do a search online to compare the build of pro sprinters to other athletes. Thanks.
I'm someone on my way to becoming EXTREMELY healthy, and yet I've had the least physical exercise out of anyone in the last 5 years of my life and it is this type of information and technique that actually inspires me to get going on with a fitness program, not any fitness program... PEAK8 all the way! Simple, adaptable to any activity but for me by far the best activity (cuz you can do it anywhere) is waist-high knee raises! Anyone else have a great recommendation as to FREE forms of PEAK8?!
I learned, by experiment, that 8 reps. worked best for strength training when 25 years ago I deadlifted 800 pounds at 181 pounds of body weight which is the most lifted in the US in 25 years. The deadlift utilizes more muscles than any other resistance exercise making it the perfect high intensity exercise! Today, at 53 years of age, I remain one of the top deadlifters in the US.
