you can disprove a god with properties, such as the christian god, all you have to do is disproof the bible, thus debunking god, and it has been done alot of times

You know, as far as their insisting that morality has its beginning in god, I've always replied the same way. "Did god enforce moral law because it is moral? Or is it moral because God enforced it? If it's the former, he's not the author. If it's the latter, then he is a tyrant."

A good analogy I use with theists is our legal system.
Imagine that the prosecution drags a random person into court and charges them with some crime and challenges that the defense team DISPROVE that this random person committed this crime. Do you see how silly it is to try to disprove an assertion?

You make an excellent point. Since life is here on Earth; it is logical that the universe is swarming with life, and thus other self aware critters. There is a lot move evidence to support Alien life, then to support this God deity, all powerful, Christian loving, self centered and oh so human God.

i totally agree, infact i see the old testament as just another more modern version of the sumirian tablets and it seems to me its actually all about some past alian encounter. i know it sounds wierd, but the more i look, the more i'm convinced. either that or i'm loosin the plot altogether, ha. still, we are on the biblical subject, so i guess i'm permitted to have an opinion, even if it is kinda strange.

the thing is, if these god botherers actually studied history, including the sumirian tablets and egyption pics and the bible, theyd know that we are half alien anyway. and then there is the nephilim.

It wouldn't surprise me to discover we have been seeded here from someplace else by *Aliens*. It would explain a lot of myths and such.

7:30 You made me think of a fun answer to fine-tuning type arguments for God. We could then argue that their God is so perfect to support faith that it has to have an intelligent creator, or else why would it be so perfect?
Also apparently a lot of these arguments that keep popping up seem to be due to the popularity of C.S. Lewis (i.e. the argument from reason, etc.), while the one book out there on his proofs of God utterly destroys them.
I think those were grey aliens.

You caught that? Yes they really are Grey, I just like calling them Green Aliens. I hadn't heard of this C.S. Lewis until answermancri quoted him. He brings up the quote, that you can't be an Atheist unless you know everything. Which aside from the fact it is a STUPID question, is incorrect in so many ways. The burden of proof is always with those claiming outlandish *facts*. What book is it that destroys Lewis's claims?
