Hey , When i connectmy Flip Ultra Hd to the computer all it shows me is a ''Connected'' and a picture of USB, but it doesnt tell me anything about the battery life , where can i see how much battery it has ?

Note the date of this post. In Sept of 2010 Flip announced that a new updated version of the Flip Ultra HD and the Mino HD. Both will have image stabilization.

I love my Flip Ultra HD and will get the new version when it comes out.

I think these reviewers have to give a good review because they get a free camera or something. The Flip Ultra HD is not a good camera. I have had one for 3 days and the video is fully distorted if you are not 100% still. So if you film while walking the video is crap. I don't understand how it doesn't have image stabilization and at night the video is worse.

i just purchased the flip camera i love it .one problem when i load videos to my pc they load in color how i recorded them, but when i play them back on my pc there is no color. what am i doing wrong im sure my problem can be fixed very easy please help thanx.

with them you can zoom - use sd cards that can record 6.5 hrs on a 16gb card

70x zoom - this is an awesome camcorder

the flip is good for goofing around - that's it

agreed haha good review, especially for those who don't know alot of complex computer terms. very basic so everyone can understand (which is what makes him a good reporter since that's basically the 1st rule).... editing could've made this less "batteries ran out on the pcmike robot"

I just bought a flip ultra hd.

When I upload a video unto my computer, I'm having some problems with the playback.

The video playback is like, stop & go, freeze & start...instead of smooth & steady playback.

Is this because of so much memory the HD uses? Or am I doing something wrong?

When I upload to youtube, the playback is fine.

It's probably because your computer is slow, but when its uploaded onto youtube the file gets compressed and becomes easier to run.

yeah i did reasearch and when you get it online it comes with the battery pack. when you buy the cam from wal mart or meijers its cheaper but it does NOT come with it. if you buy the pack seprate you spend five more dollars than online. so yeah. and i still havent gotten it.:(

i did mucho research when i wanted a cheap hd video recorder..... and what i came up with was the aiptek A-HD+ or the Aiptek Action HD..... i got the Action HD and i could not be any happier
