I'm just gonna point at a fact a lot of people overlooked:

To NON bronies, derpy's portrayal in that scene is an incredibly offensive stereotype about people with mental challenges.

And there's my whole rant on how giving her a voice in the first place was unfair to all the other interpertations of the character, and the new voice is more open to various interpertations, but the legal issues are the primary thing here.
