@TrippleOptix Megaman 2 is great, but 3 is better. Overall better soundtrack, more challenging and added Rush for the first time...I love Rush. Oh and they added the 'slide' in for the first time which made speedrunners like myself have more speed and control.

nes- great times and admitedly, sometimes not... when i got an nes all i wanted was the super mario add in. I got two games instead- T and C surf and Pacman... sheesh, my parents had no idea what good games are. Also one xmas, all I got was marble madness under the tree. Totally dull game. But playing megaman 2 for the first time was an awesome experience.

And if you really own those games and the console...PLEASE!!!!! keep them safe, and share it with your sons and grandsons (some day...), those games were the golden age of videogames not those new consoles designed to waste money, energy and time.

At that time there was no need of tons of graphics for the games to be very very fun. I still remember the hours i spend with my cousin trying to end Castlevania II.

Gauntlet II > Gauntlet. Way better. Never ending, real soundbites, epic dragon battles and more cool items and abilities to pick up. Battletoads is bad. I don't know why some people pick that game. It's too long and tedious. And gets really repetitive. I could never finish that game. I get bored out of my mind from it's sheer length and if mess up you gotta do it all over again. Turtles II is a good game but I'd put 3 over it for Super Shredder alone. God I love Bucky O'Hare. Awesome game.

@enigma3445 unfortunately that Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake only came out in japan and not in the U.S. unless you bought the Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence which came with a two disk, 1st the game Snake Eater, and the 2nd where you get to play MGS3 online and Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake...so in a way, unless you had a japan nes you wont get to play the first two
