I love contrast between growling,soft voice,violin and mystic symhonic music on background,together with georgeous lyrics,which I simply love, but now?:-(Just Aylin´s sweet voice-color of her voice is not my cup of tea-sporadic growling,just very epic (sometimes too epic) symphonic parts, which maybe are there in order to replace epic lyric, which are no longer epic, in fact they are no longer even so good :-( I can´t believe that writer of At sixes and Sevens is the same as of End of it all :-(
From all Sirenia singers, I prefer Fabienne, but Henriette is great, too. Monika was not bad, too, but I don´t like voice of Aylin... It sounds too sweet and week... And she has strange pronounciation. I love first two albums, but now it seems that Morten lost inspiration or he just decided to take another way, new lyrics (and unfortunately music, too) are too simple and lost the charm and beauty of early ones...
Wow, I never seen Sirenia with a violin player live! Awesome band, awesome songs, and now I know that Henriette Bordvik was the singer in this period I really like her! Wasn't a big fan of Monika Pedersen, still need to listen more new stuff to get an opinion on Ailyn ^^ (though I like the older stuff more)

Definately agree with that. Fabienne never did a live performance (that i am aware of).. and Henriette blows Monica out of the water live. Not heard Ailyn live yet though. Of studio recordings, i find "At sixes and sevens" very hard to beat (Fabienne).
@metaladdict24 agree, although Henriette wasn't really a big contribution to the band (The singer before her sounded just as fine.) new sirenia is a completely different band, still tolerable though. Nothing wrong with the musical change to a more mainstream sounding approach but the band hasn't gotten my attention after they released "My Mind's Eye" and I'm only tolerated them long enough because of Monika Pederson and Ailyn
@ComaLies225 true but the singer will only contribute as much as they are allowed to since morten is the driving force behind the band,i quite like the new lineup with ailyn,most of the original sirenia elements are there,although admittedly they have taken a more mainstream approach,but i put that down to ailyn's voice,it doesnt have the same dramatic effect as fabienne gondamin(at sixes and sevens)
