Company president Walter Maier provided me with a 6" DTH hammer and two 6.5" drill bits from the mirror impact technology line and experienced bit failure first a 6,000 feet of drilling and then at the 12,000 drilling point the bit and piston destroyed themselves and then Sandvik said they had a new piston design for me to try out but they never came through. I told them in the first place that the hammer is a poor design but the president said to give it all you got. I got the news quickly. LOL
I didn't need any certificates on the wall with schooling backgrounds but instead through "EXTENSIVE HANDS ON EXPERIENCE" all on my own out on a limb without support is what builds inner strength and confidence thus allowing one to reset the bar when it comes to production figures by the hour. I can understand why the DR 460 drill video was taken down because I am a contractor who has provided service in either contract form or in emergency situations for back up drilling in some 25 quarries either in the USA or in CANADA. I had the opportunity to take a D35K truck mounted blast hole drill all apart and modify the entire drill rig without leaving no stone unturned and milked every ounce of performance from this "NEW" design and have blown away "ANY" drill on the market period.
