You say money in our life wallet all full of fodder forsakes fallen order fallen minds in our life you say life and it sounds so good you say love and it sounds so sweet you say money in our life what it matters in our life follow mice (blind mice) all in order follow mice (blind mice) all in order you say life and it sounds so good you say love and it sounds so sweet you say life and it sounds so good you say love and it sounds so sweet
Gregg Araki has introduced the music taste of so many people. Not only does he make quality films that inspire people visually and mentally, but he manages to inspire our ears and feed them candy.
yep, doom generation, before the internet, where i hooked up two vcrs just to record the end credits to listen to this song into infinity (couldn't read the damn end credits).
This is Amazing! We all found slowdive through doom generation - and the song at the end! Our ears piqued with interest, we went searchin'.. BUT - The million dollar question is... WHAT ARE THE FULL LYRICS? Boy - I'd love to know :)
@AndrewEightySeven do you know that song thats played in the scene in the music/record store near the end of doom generation? amy was looking at a mortal coil cd. scene after amy killed the dog. it's where those 3 guys come in and walk up to that guy.. would be awesome if you knew
@sebinholovesyou i think this song played at the very end.. iam not sure about that previous scene though. But hearing it at the end part was very intense - so calm and peacefull song after that slaughter
@vagizz It made me kind of sad, too, I mean the fact that Jordan was left for dead and he was one of the nicest characters. But yes, it is very calming for the end after all that.
i found out this song at the end of the movie 'doom generation', completely blew me away, it was so dreamy i was literally stoned..this was 10 yr ago, but i still go back to this song again and again..one of the best shoegazing song ever!
Doom Generation. Saw it recently. Now can't stop listening to this track. Wicked dreamy, love it. fyi If you like Slowdive then you may dig 'The Radio Dept.'
Every couple of years I come back to my favorite shoegaze bands and listen to some of the stuff I hadn't heard from them before. This song is one of them. Lovely.
Yeah same here! Gregg araki (the director of doom geration/Nowhere ect.) loves this band, so he used a lot of their music in his movies and "Nowhere" is when i got into slowdive in the opening scene, and i love this song in the doom generation, now i am in love with this band!!
I know, I saw doom generation like 12 years ago, didn't really like it that much, but was captivated by the song at the end. Never looked it up. Then about two months ago, I started listening to Seefeel on Pandora, and crazy for you came on. I was like hey! That is a really good song! Got the album, listened to it twenty times, then BAM! Realized the song I so much liked from the movie was in fact....Blue skied n Clear! Amazing! Fave song from them for sure, Rutti is a close second. =)
i couldn't agree with you more, song if fucking totally invokes the ending of that movie and let's you feel and understand everything that the movie represents.

those songs ain't like this one. this song is unique.
rufian562 2 years ago
@rufian562
every song is unique, but I think their point is simply that there are a few bands who have created similar sounds and atmospheres.
of course slowdive have their own style which is different, and those other bands have their own twist too.
I don't think anyone here wanted to diminish the beauty of this in any way.
however, my suggestion is: just enjoy the music and forget about pointless genre/band comparisons...
