@ketone2 with forces this big as 50 000 which is several fleets combined and many nobles' private forces in the fleet, there might have been many red painted officer ships in the opposing forces, also.

@ketone2 No, the "red ships" you saw are merely the normal battleships being blown up. The red colour is just a lighting effect, I presume.
