@TheSeig18 Since there is no bullet weight to put on the muzzle, most, if not all small calibre rounds have no kickback... That includes the 30.06 blanks.
everything looks good and authentic...except one thing......WHERES THE BAYONETTE?!?!?!? no three line rifle ever went into battle without the bayonette in place
@amyhuk Well, while that is a true statement, if you look at combat footage from Berlin or any other urban combat, there is a curious lack of bayonets on the MN's. Thank you for watching, I will be sure to shoot an early war combat footage, where I have the bayonet affixed to the rifle (thank you for the suggestion).
@tornaka ya i can see where it would be a bit cumbersome in urban setting. also i dont think the snipers ever used them....but they look so damn cool with them on. almost napoleonic
@amyhuk No doubt about it. It is exactly 5 feet and 4 inches with bayonet deployed (as tall as me) LMAO.
Earlier in the war the soviets used spades along with their rifles for close combat. Thats not to say that bayonets were not issued, but spades and PPSH-41's worked so much better....
@LacrosseRifleShooter I was issued one, but seeing that there is very little use of it in combat, I left it in the last Wermacht captain that I bayonetted. Sorry comrade...
Keep that mosin nagant clean and dry thay are worth keeping. Why spend big money on a hunting rifle when you can have less than 200 for a mosin with a scope.
That's strange, because my mosin kicks like a mule.

and not only that the blanks u used didn't push ur solder back like a real .30 cal round would
TheSeig18 7 months ago
@TheSeig18 yeah, blanks do that... Common point of failure for almost all action and war movies.

And the Russian's are mobilising for war. Care to destroy their army for us..?
P.S. Were the Virgins still Virgins after you saved them..?

lol...you look like my grandpa during ww2 he saw combat in stalingrad and in kursk and in berlin he has the same rifle as you do but its dated 1892
nagant9130 2 years ago
Yeah, I do Russian reenacting. There is so much to respect about the Russians in WW2.
My rifle is dated 1943, and is my best milsurp rifle.

I bet he has some stories to tell. I am grateful for his sacrifice.
tornaka 2 years ago
just curious was he issued an m1891 because i'm possitive that no m91/30 was made then. If it has that date it could be a modified dragoon rifle.
