The commercial is marginally funny. If you read the 10-things-that-sound-dirty-in-­golf list ( ” I'm going to wash my balls ” ) and other puns of this sort, you won't laugh at this commercial much. It's just too unoriginal to be funny. The thing that made me smile was the old guy with his old ”balls”, but the commercial for the most part fails both to entertain and advertise. Are you going to buy this Axe product just because two chicks are making ”balls”-puns ? I know I won't.

The fact that I talked about it doesn't mean the commercial succeeded in its aim: it failed to convince me that I should try out their new product.
