  • everyone says theyre good for the price, if you add a couple hundred more your into a gretsch catalina club kit, which i have and happen to love

  • Drum Roll,Please!good review, dude!Keep them Rollin and The Music Flowin!Brainy at BMSS

  • this drumset is probly the worst you can get its even worse than those shitty sound percussions i dont even think they sell this fucking peice of shit on musicians friend or guitar center thats how bad it is so if your looking to invest your money into this set dont get something better like a tama

  • @bellythekid1234 well for 200 bucks you can't really go wrong. once you buy new heads and cymbals, it actually sounds pretty nice if you tune if correctly. it's probably best for beginner or intermediate plaeyers. have you ever used this set?

  • highly recomended :)

  • I just ordered a Gammon- (because it was cheap) was it a farily good choice?

  • your bass drum is setup backwards...

  • put the hi tom a little bit lower

  • The thing about cheap drum sets I hate mostly is the TOMS! I HATE THOSE TOMS! The snares and hi hat sometimes turn out good, and bass drums can be fixed with a pillow, but honestly I just wish they could improve the toms sligthly

  • your gonna need new heads pretty soon

  • The Crash looks Like You Through It In Front Of A Bus Or Some Shit

  • on amazon the drum set is 200$ and im getting new cymbals i dont know if i should get a hi hat for it

  • @cookievill your going to want to buy a new hi hat. It sounds ok in the videos i have but in person its like hitting a piece of tin. I recommend getting a cymbal package like the zildjian zbt's(more crisp higher tone) or the sabian b8's(medium tone) if you want good cheap cymbals.

  • Be sure to put a pillow in the bass drum if you havent so it makes more of a thud than a boom. if you havent already.

  • its a 300 doller set off of ebay

  • This drum set kinda blows I have the same one and it kinda just fell apart, but now I'm getting a brand new Tama Imperialstar =D I can't wait

  • All I can say, I got the same exact drum set off ebay,Replace all the heads, Replace the Cymbal thats pretty much it, just replace everything for it to sound good.

  • lower the toms down like a mother fucker then put an x of tape in the center of each and buy some dampeners that just stick right onto them on ebay for cheap, then make the bottom head of each tom about in the middle of where the top is, as for the snare, buy a remo weather king snare head definatly its what the best use and its nice and cheap, then just tighten the shit outa your snare, and put a peice of tape over the wire, and your set, for the bass just loosen all the way and put a pillow

  • its 300 now. i played on it yesterday. trying to do anything even remotley complex on hi hat makes it stick closed. toms ok. hitting crash/ride thingy puts major dents on edge. buy new pedal hi hat and cymbal. possibly new snare cause it sounds open. stop some pillows in bass and its sounds better

  • @mypalmoviemaker ive had mine for about a year now, its holding up just like new, ive got all used zildjan cymbals for cheap and a new snare head thats all, works like a nice 700 dollar one for me

  • it says the retail is 700 but you never see it run for that...i deffinatly isnt as nice as many 700 dollar sets

  • @nodnerb04 i bought one and it cost me 200dlls :D

  • Need i remind everyone that the retail of this set ranges from 600 to 1000 dollars. Im putting mine up tuesday

  • im probably getting this for christmas =D cnt wait, tell me if this set is worth getting plz

  • its well worth it for the price. i would suggest getting new drum heads and cymbals when you get good. im just practicing now but i have replaced the snare head with a remo powerstroke which is amazingly better.

  • @MichaelMyersFan666 i have a 7 piece gammon percussion its great it sound better than pearl

  • @MichaelMyersFan666 o me too but this year :3

  • im tired of seeing drum sets not set up the correct way. U need 2 set it up the right way

  • last time i checked ive seen professional drum sets set up differantly. so i do whats comfortable

  • i dont realy think it matters what order its in buddy its how you play and how ou prefure it

  • Tilt the rack toms upwards to about 40* degrees and lower them so they're about the level of your hi hats.

Your hi hats should be the level of the tip of your elbow when you're sitting down in a comfortable position.

Your seat should be positioned so that your feet can do heeltoes (or w/e technique you use) and is 100% comfortable with the pedals.

  • thanks i do whats comfortable for me...sorry i dont do the right technique

  • I'm just saying dude, those are the techniques I picked up from seasoned drummers who's been playing for about 40 years. It takes months perhaps years to UN-learn the bad habits ppl acquire when they first start drumming.

  • i drum just for the joy of it. i just play to songs and i have seen so many different set ups there is no specific way you have to set up your drum set. if its comfortable do it that way. It wont mess up my drumming. i feel i can transfer my sticks faster how i do it.

  • yeah. ive noticed that

the hihats are the only good things from the

    kit.

  • yeah they sound good but boy do they bend easily haha

  • i have the exact same one.. bad thing is i accidentally broke the cover lol

  • some of the drums sound awful but im thinking about getting the set new and buying new heads and cymbals

  • yeah they do i got a new snare head and it changes the sound majorly. im not buying new cymbals till i feel im good enough.

  • a little lower you good though
