Sportsters are utter shit. Mine has rusted so bad Ive gotta get it all repainted. The rear mudguard rusted, the chrome fell off the rear wheel, mirrors bubbled, the laquer on forks failed and the alloy corroded, the chainguard rusted, front rim rusted through etc. My Sportster is an 04 and is kept in a garage. The metal has only one coat of (shit) paint with no primer. It has no chance against UK weather. Come on HD pull your fucking socks up
That sounds so much better with the new pipes. I could just sit and listen to that sound all day long. Nothing like a V-Twin sound. I used to help my Dad with all his toys when I was kid.

I got a ticket for these pipes this past summer. I put the stock pipes back on went to the trooper barracks and they signed off on the fix. No more ticket or fine. Then of course I went back home and put the Samsons back on. :) Oh well. Wish the police could pursue more important things.
I had a set of Samson "Rip Saws" on my '02 Sporty and didn't like them. Kept them on for about six months. Loved the sound at idle but hated it when revving. Put my CS baloney cut mufflers (baffles removed) back on and love the sound and performance.
I like it. I think that is what really matters. I don't have a problem with what anyone else rides. Ride whatever you want. If you don't like what I ride, why in the hell are watching the vid for it?
This is true, there isnt anything quite like a high pitched import thats being revved to 15000 RPMs...and theres nothing as sweet sounding as 1200cc V Twin all American Power...
All bikes are great. i like to ride just about anything with two wheels, an engine, and a throttle.
I have installed the Screamin Eagle air cleaner. I left the stock air cleaner accent on it. I am going to get the jet kit done this weekend. Sure seems like there could be more power that I can get out of the bike. Thanks for the positive comments.

Yeah, that is for sure, but the fuel injected does get a tad bit better gas mileage.

And you don't have to adjust for altitude. Supposedly the ECU should be able to change dynamically based on the air thickness.
