The Sheikh starts the three hour lecture with saying the Omayyad Caliphate never insulted `Ali bin Abi Talib on the pulpits, nor issued any ban on the mention of `Ali's virtues.

For "proof", he cites Bukhari's ahadeeth on `Ali's virtues. Newsflash: Bukhati lived during the ABBASID Caliphate, not the Omayyad Caliphate.

After the "Sheikh" mentioned this, I refused to take the rest of his lecture seriously. Glad I got spared three hours of wasted YouTubing.

If you dont need any leader or Imam and you want to follow only Allah, why did Allah subhana wa tahala send so many profets to us? The relation bitween profet (SAW) and Imam Ali (AS) was the same as the relation bitween the profet musa (AS) and Haroon (AS). When musa was away for few days, his followers did not listen to haroon. After our profets(SAW) dead no one followed Imam Ali. They fought against them until they(kuffar) made Imam hossein(AS) shahid. Sunni- brothers, dont insult us please.

May Allah(swt) forgive you my friend. What makes you hate on Ali Ibn Abi T|alib(as)? The one who was born in the Kaaba, the one who married the prophet's daughter under his permission. The one who had so many Quran'ic verses sent down. Who had more power then Imam Ali(as)? He never lost a battle in his life until he was killed while he was praying. I suggest you read the hadiths from the Prophet to Imam Ali you ignorant fool. May Allah really help you for the path you have stumbled upon ya kafar
