  • I am absolutely astonished at how good your skin looks. I am 22 years old, and if my skin looks half as good as yours when I get to your age (although I have NO idea what that is) I will be ecstatic!

  • @BotherationIsZero I will be 61 in March and thank you so very much!

  • I agree..I spend more on skincare than on makeup..When I go shopping..I look at the product..if it is going to benefit my skin..than i purchase it..all about eyes..yes!!

  • @luciabarstow There are only a handful of "actives" and they are used in most products. Beyond that skin care is mostly about preference of carriers, brands and how much you wish to spend. Much of what is in the market place is waay over hyped and could never begin to do what it promises. That is why plastic surgeons stay in business :) Thanks so much for your comments!

  • @Catalina031 I love it that u said u never had a facial..because one, I can not get myself to spend the money when I have a family, and 2 I can do it myself..I have watched several of your videos and am learning so so much thank you ..

  • @luciabarstow I'm sure a facial would be nice and relaxing. I can just never find the time and am lucky to find the time to get my hair colored which I absolutely could never do as well myself. Facials just are not a requirement by any stretch for nice skin.

  • U look simply radiant..I love how u look in this video!!! u look beautiful in every video but i love how you look in this one...especially..and i am learning so much thnks

  • @luciabarstow Aww thank you sweetheart! I really need to start including what I have on my face in videos as I can never remember :) I am so happy to hear you are finding something useful and you are so very welcome!

    xoxo Jan

  • Thank you Dear Jan, I will order Advanced Firming Pads, its on sale on her website. Enjoy your time with your family for Holidays :).. Love Dinah ..p.s. I will send you PM. please check it out !

  • Hi Jan, I received all Dr Denese products. I love the feel of my skin, I love how easy and fast my skin absorb all :) I forgot to order one thing Advanced Firming Facial Pads, I bought Pro C Illuminating Cell Defense Pads, is it okay to use those at night instead of Firming Pads? Or what would be alternative that I can buy in Canada? :) Or I should order online that too.. oh my :) Thank you so very much, LOVE DINAH .. Happy Thanksgiving

  • @dinah13 I would use the C pads in the morning & use any 10% glycolic cream or lotion at bedtime as long as you are not using a prescription tretinoin product. There are many alpha hydroxy acid products, Alpha Hydrox, NeoStrata Ultra Smoothing Cream, Earth Science Alpha Hydroxy Night, Walgreens Alpha Hydroxy. I have less irritation from Dr. Denese ones than anything else I have tried likely because of aloe & other ingredients in the formulation but those might be worth a try.

  • @dinah13 Just thrilled that you like the products. That is one aspect of telling someone what I use that I don't care for-thinking that they might hate it. Please do let me know how you like them after a month or so. Thank you so very much for the Thanksgiving wishes and I am going to get back to cooking :) much love Jan

  • Thanks so much for your videos. I'm curious which of the following you've tried and what you think about them (are any worth the money): Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, Nia24 Skin Strengthening Complex, Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear. Keep up the great videos! You look wonderful!!

  • @DPDupee Invisible Zinc separated in the tube, was sticky and left a white cast on my face. The CE Ferulic is a good am product but the same product that is just as good and less expensive can be purchased elsewhere. Can't leave a dot com address here will try to remember to send you a pm. The Nia24 I have not used-seems to have a lot of fruit, nut, essential oils, glycerin, urea, ceramides & retinol but not anything particularly outstanding. Just my opinion :) Thanks so much! xoxo Jan

  • I have a tub of powdered vit c which I was told to mix with aloe vera and apply is that ok? Hope you are ok I saw your tweets about the earthquate and replied but you must not have got them :0) xxxJoolsxxx

  • @BarrysDaughter I did not get your tweets! Why not? I did not even know you were on twitter! Ok just went and found you on twitter! If you follow me too maybe I will get your tweets in the future! Vit C with aloe would be a great product for your face and anywhere else you want to throw it on LOL I need to bathe in the stuff :) We are OK-no apparent damage from the earthquakes or the tornadoes either :) Take care sweetie xoxo Jan

  • @Catalina031 I already was following you honey :0)

  • @BarrysDaughter Well crap-I don't know why I did not see them! I am following you now so maybe that will fix it! :)

  • most sincere comments. Hugs.

  • I love your videos! :] Thank you for all your videos. They're so honest and you don't just talk about what every one else is talking about. All the same product raves and stuff, ya know? I've learned a lot of what works for actual ladies, not just little kids who say products are good even when they're not. :] I may not watch all your videos the day of but I always do end up watching them sometime! I think about your channel quite often. :] You're always my best subbie who leaves me the nicest

  • @JanessaTheCow Thank you sweetie. You are such an amazing young lady and I bet your family is so very proud of you. I am so proud to have you for such a lovely friend :) Thanks so much for watching sweetie and for your comments! xoxo Jan

  • You should take extra zinc supplement (oral) for wound healing if you have surgery or a bad burn. Great.

  • @jakevanfan Great advice :) Thanks! xo Jan

  • Hi Jan, I got my PCA skin pigment gel from drugstore com today and am starting with it on a place on my arm. The instructions say to use it thinnly twice a day and stop if no improvement after 3 months. Well, I'm going to follow your advice because that seems like a long time. I'm going to use it a few days and then take a break a few days and continue. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again for this product . ♥

  • @TeresaNC1 Personally if I had used that product that way there would be an open wound there. My skin is pretty exfoliated though so don't know if I would just have a stronger response than someone else or not. At the point one makes an actual wound then one could have redness left behind that might look worse than the spot. You are a smart to start out slow and see how you react-the stuff is strong and Rome wasn't built in a day :) Do let me know! xoxo Jan

  • Loved this! We share similarities in our routines & favorite products. I think I will try to get a those cleansing cloths & also a sample of the Clinique AAE Rich; I am using & loving a Borba eye cream but wonder how hard it will be to find later :( You know I have always thought your skin is beautiful; thank you for the great advice... xoxoxo

  • @myqroom I know you are also a fan of Dr. D :) Totally understand about not being able to find things. I often don't get involved with a line if I think it won't be around a good long while. I obviously get soo attached to my skin care products LOL If you get the AAERich do let me know what you think of it. I have burned thru soo many eye creams and just love it! So happy you found something useful :) love ya doll! xoxo Jan

  • Thanks so much for sharing your skin care routine. Have been on the road for the last 3 weeks (home for the weekends). Between the air travel, hotels, and nursing homes (I'm an Inspector) the air is so dry and my skin has been feeling the effects as usual. This trip something odd happened; the skin on my eye lids became very dry, flaky and irritated. My moisturizers didn't help. Last night I purchased some Clinique All About Eyes - Rich. Just one application alone has helped so much! Thx again!

  • @BeverlyHillsBarB You are soo welcome. I think that eye cream is fab! Have you ever thought about carrying a mini humidifer with you on trips? It is a must have for me when the weather turns cold. So much forced heated air just dries me up like a prune! There is an Air-O-Swiss one that is pretty awesome that I purchased from Amazon. Take care! Wonderful to hear from you! xoxo Jan

  • I am definitely going to check out Dr. Denese's products! Your skin is beautiful.

I love your video's because you share some of the medical aspects of skin issues and really know about the ingredients in the products. Thank you so much!

    Susan

  • @conuregirl007 You are soo welcome Susan. If you give anything a try please let me know how you like it. She does have a 30 day return policy too! :) Thanks so much for watching! xoxo Jan

  • I've learnt so muchf rom this video and many recommendations. I am going to try Dr Denese now, only trouble is all her stuff on UK website is out of stock - thats how popular it is! I'll wait cos I'm loving the Shiseido lotion right now as a serum for plumping etc. Thanks so much for doing this, my Mom will love this too. Love Daisy <333

  • @daisynation Diane looked and told me the UK site was sold out. I have some samples to send to you but no address. I have tried soo many skin care lines over the years from La Mer to Olay but I always come back to this line. Oh yes! Do share with mom! :) much love sweetheart! xoxo Jan

  • Thanks. I'll have to check out Dr. Denese products.

  • @Voyeur53 Let me know what you think about them if you do :) ♥ Jan

  • Great skin care routine, Jan! I have used some of Dr. Denese's products and loved them! I am thinking that maybe I need to revisit them. :+) I am looking to find something else besides what I am now using. Thanks for sharing your routine! Big Hugs. . . Vickie

  • @go24jeffgordon I wander off and try new things for a few weeks but always have come back to these products. You are so welcome and thanks so much for your comment! XOXO Jan

  • ok you know my skin right now.... only can use water still love the nail polish... what color is it?

  • @treappling1 I'm with Brad :) LOL Sephora by OPI polish and it would look beautiful on you! I do love it too! Hope you are feeling better sweeie! xoxo Jan

  • Wow Jan , i feel like such a failure, i only use cleanser, toner and moistizuer, simple cheap stuff but i suppose it does the job, you take really good care of your skin, and you should be proud of that. i have at times gone to bed without taking off my makeup in the past when i'm really tired, which is a big no-no.

  • @longcara Oh sweetie not at all my intention! i don't think anyone has to have these exact products to have nice skin and you have such a beautiful face. Shame, shame on you for going to be with makeup on! LOL Obviously has not done any damage! I am like a dog with a bone and just can't stand not doing my skin care and getting that "stuff" offa my mug :) Thanks so much for watching! xoxo Jan

  • thanks for sharing Jan!

  • @ziplockcan Thanks so much for watching Cathy :) Have not forgotten-just obviously behind LOL XOXO Jan

  • Thank you very much for your videos. Of course it makes sense, as all of them!!!

I wonder why you don´t use Atralin on your neck. That´s tretinoin, isn´t it? I use tretinoin 0,05 from time to time. Here in Spain it´s called Retirides, but I use it all over my face and neck and have no problem up to now. What´s wrong with it?. Maybe there is something I don´t know ... I am worried , you´ve frightened me.

    Thank you for everything.

  • @numeal I am soo sorry-did not intend to worry anyone. The use of tretinoin is absolutely an indicated use by the manufacturer. As long as you don't have problems with it then rock on girl :) Necks for many have very sensitive skin, much more so than the face and mine certainly is. Always try to err on the side of caution when telling anyone about skin care. Don't want anyone to get into trouble with something and tretinoin is pretty strong used on a daily basis. HTH! XOXO Jan

  • Never tried DrD's products but watch her often on QVC, they look awesome...for some reason I dont see her on there as much lately..hope she is ok, shes a very pretty lady.

  • @imsassi Dr. D has been doing a lot outside of QVC with her FB page, website and twitter. I am wondering if she is simply getting away from QVC. She is still coming out with new products and was on QVC this past Monday during PM style with a brand new product so she is still moving forward with her line-at least I hope so :) Hope you have a wonderful day! xoxo Jan

  • Hi Jan, thanks for sharing what products you are using - I am always interested in learning and how what products others are using for anti- aging. I really enjoyed this video - most helpful. Thanks again JA :o)

  • @MsMakeupchic You are soo welcome! I am thrilled you found it helpful! Thanks so much for watching and always good to hear your comments. xoxo Jan

  • Hi Jan

This is an excellent skin care video! I am always interested in hearing first hand information from someone who really knows the products. Your skin looks wonderful! Thank you.

  • @CatherineMcT Thank you for watching Catherine! Hope you found something useful :) ♥ Jan

  • Do I see a red lips or is it my computer and wrong colors :)

Looking beautiful and Thank you for sharing.

  • @tanyapia1 They look pretty red to me! :) Thanks so much sweetheart! I am always so thrilled when you leave a comment! I just feel better knowing you are with me :) xoxo Jan

  • Jan ~ Awesome video and your skin looks amazing! I always forget the sunscreen on my hands, therefore they look like they belong on a 90 yr old woman. I have some 2% hydroquinone cresm and sometimes remember to apply it. I'm vigilant about the retinols, though. Love you beautiful lady! xoxo Joanzy

  • @junbug1029 DH says I am in pretty good shape for the shape I am in LOL I have to go with what I have to work with :) Years ago I was not so careful about my hands which is why I use the products on them as well. After realizing what a wreck the skin on my body is I started taking care of my hands better. Love you too my beautiful Joanzy! XOXO Jan

  • Hi Jan, we should pay you for doing this. OMG, you are amazing, everything you talk about, I HEAR KNOWLEDGE. I use same eye cream and love it. Spent 1 hour on Dr D website, got lost/tired :) Have to go back tomorrow and order a few things, mostly serums and pads. I have normal skin.. not many wrinkles for my age, I am 52. Thank you so much sweet Jan .. Love Dinah

  • @dinah13 Her product line is extensive which is actually a complaint of mine. I have never used all her products and not of the opinion that anyone needs to. You have beautiful skin and such a smart lady to wish to take care of it! :) You are soo welcome and thank you so very much for your input. I always look forward to hearing from you! Much love Jan

  • Thanks so much for the information. I have used Dr. Denese's FIrming Facial Pads but will look closer at her other products. Do you prefer Atralin to Renova? What is the difference other than brand?

  • @Brouilly1 Atralin wins hands down for the very least amount of irritation over Refissa, Renova, Retin-A, Retin-A Micro, Differin and generic. Have used them all :) The difference is simply the ingredients used in the carrier for the tretinoin. Atralin is a gel but has glycerin, used in many products as a humectant & 2 moisturizers- soluble collagen and sodium hyaluronate. Renova is a cream but always had a lot of dryness with it & the others. Atralin is worth every penny! Thank you! ♥ Jan

  • Your skin does look great! That has been something I've always noticed since I first found your channel :] And your eyes! I think they're beautiful.

  • @JanessaTheCow Well you be sure to wear a great sunscreen and take care of that beautiful face and skin you have! Sound like a mom don't I? LOL Thank you Janessa-you are too sweet! xoxo Jan

  • @Catalina031 Hi Jan! Nah, I don't think you do! More like a caring wise friend :]

  • you look great Jan

  • @SandraB1000 Every time I see your user name and think of your furchildren always makes me think of my B series of cats. Have only been 2 so far, Mr. B (the original) and now have B-2. Another red tabby shows up we will have B-3 :) Sorry that was random LOL Thank you! xoxo Jan

  • @Catalina031 that is so sweet! xox

  • Having done due diligence ----- your skin is beautiful !! All worth it

  • @Pcbjava248 Well it is certainly not as nice as it once was but what is a girl going to do?! LOL I try :) Thank you! xoxo Jan

  • apparently I need to step up my game! My oh my... I am going to have add some time someplace. Looking good mama, as always. Glad you put this out. L, C

  • @4evryoung58 10 minutes in the morning and 15 at nite-tops! If I get with the program and don't lolly gag about can get evening done in 10! I have done this for soo long could almost do it in my sleep. In fact some nights I was indeed likely half asleep LOL But you have beautiful skin! Thank you sweets!! much love Jan

  • Oh great, from a quick look on the UK site every thing appears to be out of stock - well that was an anti-climax I can tell you :-(

  • @dianeuk01 :( Out of stock? Seriously?! Maybe they restock? Or you do have connections :)

  • Excellent video, I love your skin care videos, I always pick up so much. Guess what I just found Dr Denese UK webiste, when did that happen? I know I've googled a few times before - am excited to check it out. This vid is going to favs, as your face speaks volumes. That lip colour is so beautiful on you. Hugs darling. x

  • @dianeuk01 That is too cool! I did not know there was a UK site but do know that Frankie purchased Dr. D's products from some place. Thanks so much sweetheart! XOXO Jan

  • Hi Jan,

Wow you use a lot of products.I used to but then it was too much for my skin which is beyond sensitive. You have lovely skin, what you are doing sure is working.I do like Dr Deneses products but the hydroshield gace me milia.Your hair looks so nice and shiney.I have been loving that Bed Head product, its helping to keep my curls in without crunch. xoCathy

  • @catmama54 It seems like a lot but only takes me a few minutes to do morning and evening and well worth it-at least to me :) My skin is uber sensitive too so I am always cautious. Wow-millia-that is dreadful. I am soo thrilled you are loving the bed head! Am not a crunch lover either :) LOL Thanks so much Cathy! XOXO Jan

  • First I must say I love your hair, I am jealous!! I am so sick of my hair I could scream. Due to stress, I have lost alot of hair over the past several months and my hair is fine and thin to begin with. Anyway, Love Dr. Denese. I had been using her products ever since she started on QVC. For the last 3 months I've been using Exuviance by Neostrata and I really like it. I've always said you have beautiful skin. Would love to see a foundation vid with your new Bobbi Brown.

    ((HUGS))xxoo

  • @1954Barbie Your hair will get better! It grows in phases and it will be grown back in before you know it! I keep trying new things and I don't know why because I always go back to her products! Even if they did not do a darn thing for anti-aging they make my skin feel amazing! Will do! Thanks so much Bev! Big hugs sweetheart! XOXO Jan

  • Lady, you know I love you, but that is a lot of face products! I think I will try the Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion for sure, it sounds like a good sunscreen!

  • @hairfashionmom Oh how sweet-I adore you too! It does seem like a lot but only takes me about 15 minutes in the evening and I did not even include the rosacea product. The Eucerin is one of the best sunscreens on the market. Let me know if you try it and like it :) ♥ Jan

  • @Catalina031 The sunscreen is great! I love that is doesn't have a fragrance to it. It works great under my makeup! Thanks for the tip!

  • The PCA sounds interesting Jan...as I have some fairly bad hyper pigmentation. I use Retin A but haven't seen a remarkable difference to my pigmentation issues. Dont fancy a drastic peel...so may try this. Thanks for a very informative video...and your skin is beautifully radiant xo

  • @LittleMissForty Tretinoin would likely help with hyperpigmentation but it would be over time & quite possibly a good bit of it-like several years. The pHaze 13 with lactic, azelaic, citric and kojic acids along with the hydroquinone is pretty wicked & will definately peel skin so that new skin can start to come to the surface. I think you have beautiful skin! :) Please don't get overzealous-this too will take a bit of time-just not years :) Thanks so much for your lovely comment. xo Jan

  • I've now ordered the PCA Pigment Gel. I cannot wait to try it. I've been to two dermo and my GP to ask about 1 place on my cheek and one on my arm. I want them gone! Lol, none of the doctors seem concerned, but hopefully this PCA will work and I'll be spot free.

Love your skin care video. I totally think skin care is the most important thing we can do to help us feel better and look better.

  • @TeresaNC1 Anything you use to lighten can take a while to work. I can use this about 3 days in a row & then I peel. Be sure to let the area peel & new skin come to the surface before using it again. Don't want to cause damage :) Could not agree more- Have always placed more emphasis on health, skin care and prevention than I ever have on makeup. Less is more seems to apply to foundation for "mature" skin, at least for me. Let me know how you like the PCA! Thanks so much Teresa! XOXO Jan

  • Your skin is beautiful! I want the PCA Skin Pigment Gel pHaze13! I love when my face peels, sheds whatever the heck you want to call it, LOL I'm going to get it! This video was very informative. Love that lip color on you, very pretty..LOVE your polish!

I was Just about to email you after I ate my salad LOL

    xoxoxoxoxoxo

    H U G S

Gina Gina Gina Gina Gina Gina was here... LMAO! (just being silly)

  • @LongHairandRedLips Silly, silly girl LOL You be careful with that PCA stuff my lovely! It is wicked! Glad you liked the video and maybe mom would like it too? :) Big hugs sweetie! XOXO Jan

  • Love my Atralin, thanks to you! Only prescription product I have been able to tolerate. :)))

  • @debbick1 It really is the best on the market! Thanks so much Deb! ♥ Jan

  • have you ever had a chemical peel? (at home or at a derm) if so which, tca, glycolic etc? you look so good!

  • @rad1callan Have never had anything professionally done to my skin-not even a facial. Nor have I ever done an at home peel as I think they are best left to medical professionals. Which I am but peels worry me :) I do think that it would be fun to get a facial though :) Just can't imagine sitting still long enough for it! My skin is not perfect nor flawless & I think I look my age, 60, but like dh says "I am in pretty good shape for the shape I am in" LOL Thanks so much for watching! xo Jan

  • I Have gotten dr. denese products at TJ.MAXX :) I really like the skinactives dream cream, it is soo moisturizing. love your video :) xoxoxoxo michelle

  • @scarletfire28 Don't have a TJ MAAX but others might so good to know! I tried the SA Dream Cream and it sure was not blended very well at all :( so have been sticking with Dr. D :) Thanks so much Michelle darling! XOXO Jan

  • Great information! Thanks for the full product list in the "drop down." I probably need to update the products I use. It does seem like a great deal of work though. I might fall asleep in the mddle of the night routine. LOL

  • @musetteherring I often do evening in 10 minutes flat if I get serious about it. Takes much longer for you to listen to me yammer on than to actually do what I do LOL Actually putting on makeup takes me longer than my am and pm skin care combined because I am soo picky about my brows :) Thanks soo much for watching! xoxo Jan
