Great job! I played in the pit orchestra for this show back in college, and had a lot of fun with it. MAJOR kudos to the performers with just having the courage to literally dance around in their "costume" (underwear) in front of an audience, which, chances are, included some parents of the performers.

we used to do two ladies in our nightly drag shows at a club i worked in but we used to have 2 guys play the the ladies and we used to make a girl from behind the bar who was a lesbian do the mc part SHE HATED IT LOL! BUT the customers loved her doing it!

Great direction, but the one of the "ladies" being a man-thing is SOOOO overdone.

It's not overdone, it's traditional. It's not just a gimmick. Bisexuality is a pretty integral part of the Emcee's character concept, so it's pretty natural for one of the "ladies" to be a man in drag.

Within the play this is a night club act in 1930's Berlin, and is usually two ladies with the Emcee. The casting of a man is very clever. For the purpose of the song he is a "lady", but you are supposed to be aware that he is not. It's an added joke. I wish I could see this whole production because it is most clever of the ones I have seen.
