@oTFoB1INDFIR3o there is no way that fight should have been stopped lesnar didn't show the normal signs of a fighter out like going limp, laying completely flat on the canvas or not blocking intelligently. brock several times kick shane off of him sending shane flying across the ring the brock got up on his feet at the end of the SAME round. now your telling me this should have been stopped??!!! please watch the fight again without a emotional opinion just look at the facts

@randymerriweather I've been watching MMA for years, and I can say with confidence that this fight should have been stopped. What you have to understand is that merely putting your hands over your face and praying is not an intelligent defense; you have to have head and shoulder movement, blocking, countering, or be attempting to get out of the position somehow. Lesnar was doing none of this. It reminded me alot of Ortiz vs Liddell 2, which was stopped due to this exact same situation. My $.02

@1norcal415 but if the guys punching power is decreasing and your able to kick the quy off you a couple of times your not ko'ed which was the case with brock shane had that fight but he gave it away at no point was brock ever ko'ed or did he tap your right he didnt intelligently defend himself but he was still conscious enough to kick shane away a few times which were indicators to the ref that he was not out of it even in a choke situation where the ref can see he will at least grab the wrist

@randymerriweather true, but again remember that a TKO does not necessarily mean you are unconcious, it means that you are getting pummeled and not defending yourself enough, and thats why the ref stops it. If he was knocked unconcious then it would have been a KO and not a TKO, so in that regard you are correct. But still it was a hell of an exciting fight. I hope they get a rematch soon, since nobody else in the division really poses a threat to Lesnar.
