I will say that I have a CIA HK G3 Sporter, and can tell you that it probably was worth the money. The only things that I have done to the rifle that was needed was polishing the top of the bolt carrier, cause it had a burr and then had to change out the rollers in order to get the bolt gap within specifications. The things I added for cosmetic reasons stocks, scope, and bipod. I guess, I got one of the luck ones, cause I have heard different from people that bought one about the manufacturer
I have a Century International Arms C-91 Sporter, and I have to say that it really can't be beat for the price I paid for it. The only things I have done to it so far are had to polish the top front part of the bolt, because of a bur on it would lock the bolt back. I also have had to put plus size rollers in to get its bolt space within military specifications. I changed the stock out, added a scope, and bi-pod.
did you know that there is a gun cleaning kit inside of the gun? It is where the bayonet lug is, see the two holes on oppisite sides, push those in and turn and pull on the lug and out slides the kit. It was on mine but not on some others i guess. I bought mine from a friend acouple of weeks ago for $400 with some extras, like -the HK front and rear stock and the original wood stocks, bayonet, 3 20 round clips, a 2 clip belt holster, a 5 round clip the same scope mount you have and 775 rounds
i was looking at a stock set without the buffer tube or whatever. will i have problems installing it on the cetme like that? or will i have to make some fittings? any help thx
i see you mentioned brown bear, nice. i use silver bear. this thing just mauls the fuck outta brass, so i stick with steel cased ammo. just avoid Wolf, that is the worst ammo out there for any gun. ever tried Golden Bear?
This would be a nasty ass home defense gun lol. Imagine 5 guys coming through your door. A couple rounds of 308 would fucking cut right through them. But I live in a place where stray rounds would likely not cause any harm, that wouldnt be such a good idea for people living in a city or urban area.
Still you could always use some fragmenting or soft point ammo that would not penetrate too much. I just dont like how these rifles ruin brass for reloading.
Hey man thank for the Vids. You have single handily convinced me to get this rifle. But can I ask you for one more small favor? Can you send me the links to where you bought your Buttstock, Grip, and Fore-grip? Thanks man and keep up the quality Vids.
I just picked up my Cetme on Sat 3-13-2010. I shot 40 rounds through it. Its a very nice accurate weapon. However the rounds cost about $1.00 per bullet. Any recommendations on where to buy ammo??
Also what rails can I put on this rifle for scopes and where can I buy them.
Cool video man. You explained and showed that good rifle off very well. Thank you.

What did you use to get that rear off? Short of beating the crap out of it, mine won't budge.

I have nothing against the cetme but If i were going to get a g3 style rifle I would save up and get a PTR 91. They are about as nice as it gets.

@mprush12 One bad thing is that these rifles ruin the brass, otherwise you could reload it decently cheap.
