I'm not Roy's follower, but agree with most of what he says, except how he treats women.
What i hear in his talks and what is my driving force in life is freedom.
Freedom for myself and then i also let others have their own freedom and don't try to manipulate them to serve my purposes any longer.
So many things are upside down today. for ex. So called love is just an illusion and aims to rule that loved one. For me love in relationship means to let eatch other free, not to make one slave.
I agree with you, and I also agree with many things Roy says. However....I don't agree with how he whitewashes all women as being 'the embodiment of evil' and all that ridiculous rhetoric.
@inflatableclown6 I think he had a rough marriage or something. I could understand his feelings, and sometimes my own experiences with know it all false accusing females made me think that too about many women. This is just my experiences. Yet not every woman is like that. Man or woman, one has to rise above that. Look at Mother Theresa. One can argue wether or not people have sin natures, but it can be gradually conquered. I think women are more whitewashed and encouraged than men in the USA.
@Upritebass I suppose what I really object to are the inflammatory and outrageous unfounded statements Roy makes, such as 'women are all born insane, no exceptions.' Is he saying that because he really believes it, or just to get people to listen to him, if only to hear the next ridiculous outlandish thing he might say? He sounds dead serious, though, so I think he really believes what he says.
@inflatableclown6 I don't doubt we're all a bit loose in the scruples FROM birth, but I think that applies to both genders. Something we grapple w/and hopefully get better with as we grow. Sometimes I think a child knows more truth, not all, than some adults. Somuch hurting conditioning & insinuations out there.
I'm used to women thinking they're so much better or nearly perfect. Now if roy would say baby boys are born perect, I'd disagree. Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child.
@inflatableclown6 I do appreciate the heads up. And I will also keep my rabbit ears of caution up. I simply like te basic body of ideology I hear here. Never heard so much THESE particular ideas coming from one place. Yet I heard some of the ideas I heard here phrased a bit better from someone else, But the basic truth or meaning I understood. Yeah, I'd stay away from saying things like All women are born insane. In a way it's true? But so are all men.....
@Upritebass , .... maybe with the exception of JC if you're a christian.
But I'll admot it about myself. I have a few screws loose sometimes. All one has to do is look at some of my silly you tube comments, lol! If something did hurt you, I sympathize deeply. First, if any consolation, you will be in my prayers, and second: Be assured my rabbit ears of cautiion & discernment tend to be up at all times with most of what I hear from anyone.
@Upritebass Okay, except Ray Brown. He's god (small G) in my book. :-)
GREAT Bass player and gentleman. I don't know what happened with Linda, or her particular mindset (is inflatable clown actually Linda? I'm sorry, I'm always in such a rush on youtube) , but if Linda is inflatable clown, The clown seems to have some pretty good personal perspectives about some things. Just saying, you know? You seem pretty open and nice. Will BBL! Need to do some stuff around here.
@Upritebass I can handle the statement of 'all women are born insane' if the delivery of such is tongue-in-cheek. I don't think Roy is trying to be funny, however. He's not performing before a comedy club. He's speaking to an audience whose rapt attention is his lifeblood. He's the ultimate parasite. Without his audience he's nothing. Without his outrageous claptrap he wouldn't have an audience and he'd have nothing to live on.
@inflatableclown6 Well, that's debatable - wether he'd have nothing to live on. I don't know one way or another. I perceive you got hurt by this or several times?
Personally speaking, I hear some good things/good ideas from him. I don't know if he means some of the things you object to in comedic way. or attn, or whatever. O
ve heard worse, and have been attacked worse? But I have to admit it wasn't on mass media. I don't know how I'd react then..
@Upritebass I filter out many things I hear and not let it bother me. What can you do? But I have to admit, I've never been called anything on nat'l TV. That is why I shy away from the camera here in our studio too. (not MY studio, but where we tape sometimes). Even one comment can be very humiliating even if no one really notices or remembers. Certain ideologies I hear from Roy are really true, and I agree with much of what he says. And I don't see him as a messiah either.
@Upritebass He's not a corrupted facsimile of a man in my view. What I see him doing alot, in his effect, even if it NOT his intention, is teach men to complete to be free within. And be resilient towards society and try to do the right things no matter what anyone thinks - as well as not retaliate with resentment. i really think Roy retaliated with resentment sometimes on his radio program. YET, some of his philosophies are very true and helpful.
@Upritebass If I were him, I'd just admit it, because sometimes it's blaringly obvious that he's pissed on his program, but I can look past all that because he does a lot of good. I can't just consider him a total waste product. Some people do, oh well. I will tell you 1 thing I disagree with that he says: (in essence, that) Women don't necessarily need men to complete them.
@Upritebass BUT I don't think men necessarily need women to complete them either. That's where men have gone wrong Big Time. We've got to be able to have inner assurance no matter what society says, and persue peace yet with integrity and grow in it, A lot of the negative self image it is society and peer conditioning, I think.
I'm going to keep listening to him? And believe me, I filter.
@Upritebass Sorry about my typos. I'm talking and typing at the same time and am in a rush. So many projects to do, yet so little time. It would be nice if there was 48 hours in a day and we'd only have to sleep 9 of them..
@Upritebass Oh heavens.....the last thing I ever worry about anymore is 'ole Roy. I do believe he says things of value, but you have to dig through a ton of sh*t to get to one good thing and I just don't need to waste my time. I'm evolving far away from ever needing any human to direct or lead me, especially one who claims he's talked about in the Lost Books of the Bible.
@Upritebass I think Roy is trying to teach the right thing (at times), but I think he goes about it all wrong. If people find the things he says effective and helpful, it is because he's only sparking something they already have inside and they deserve the credit for their realization, not Roy. But Roy loves to heap the credit and the accolades on himself. He's a chump.
@Upritebass Lots of stuff bugs me about Roy, but probably the biggest bugger is the fact that he used to rail on and on about ego and how it is our downfall.....however all I see in him IS ego. His ego just glows when he's in front of an audience and the rapt attention of everyone is on him, and how they hang upon his every word. He's off the egometer !! He's a crappy example of what he talks about, yet will he admit it? Hell no.
@Upritebass What I got hurt by was thinking that Roy had answers that I needed for my life, and I literally re-arranged my entire existence around seeking the 'truth' he talked about...only to find out he's nothing more than a magician with a charismatic persona. What really bugs me is people who are so star-struck by Roy, when I can so easily see through him. To me he's just full of himself and nothing else. I've found what I need in life and don't need to listen to his garbage anymore.
@inflatableclown6 If that what he is doing, i agree - it should not be done. Honestly, I don't. Some of what I hear him say sort of spurs my own thinking process. I only listen to him once a week and would never think of going overboard in my following of him nor anyone really. Right now, some of the things I hear have a good effect on me. But there's the difference.
@Upritebass Paul said soething to the effect that wether the Gospel be preached for sordid gain or or from genuineness, thank God it is being preached.
Now I'm not saying Roy is always preaching the Gospel, but I'm drawing an analogy that there are some good philosophies and helpful hints he speaks of.
But going overboard for the messenger and not the message also seems to be a problem with many people these days.
@Upritebass Paul wrote that he himself had better be obedient to his own message lest he become a throw away. Now concerning what you say he said about Roy claiming to be in the Lost books of the Bible: Which books of the Bible considered "lost" are debatable. But I've read the Books of Enoch also referred to by Peter in the Canoniacal Bible, and Enoch was considered acceptable reading in the early days of Christianity. BUT I've never seen Roy mentioned in them.
@Upritebass In a general sense - as "saints of God" he may have been mentioned - but that depends on Roy - wether or not he will be a "throw away" in God's eyes.
Just relistening to this video, I caught something rather insensitive he said. Someone told him "You're being insensitive to her" or somesuch. He responded "Oh absolutely." I would have responded: Sorry, I don't mean to be,
@Upritebass Also concerning the Bible - it mentions many will give in to lying and seducing spirits in the last days. Fame and power can be lures to that effect.
As the old saying goes: Absolute power corrupts absolutely." God, the spirit of truth may be exempt from that, and because he also limited himself in that he won't go past our own free wills. But for people generally, it doesn't take much
for most peoples' egos to go straight thru the roof.
@Upritebass And honestly, we aren't all that. Even if a person reaches the point of having totally GOOD motivations, what power do people really have? No where close to God. Repeatedly, writers of the Bible said they have no power. In fact, God didn't even work thru them in power unless was a relative conformity to his will. Jesus himself said he could do nothing on his own and what he sees the Father do, he also does. BUT he had that perfect touch with God -being (supposedly)God in the flesh
@Upritebass We aren't, and are not perfect. So I guess all I can say if Roy crosses the line is the same as what jesus said to the religious leaders of His day (the Parisees and such) : Do as they say, but not as they do - concerning the Laws of God. So that's where my filtering comes in. Yeah, I hear a lot of good stuff on his RADIO program, but not everything. I will do the stuff that is helpful to me, and disregard the rest and debate it if I have opportunity.
@Upritebass Again .... sorry about my typos. I hate that. i think it's due to a combination of a weird keyboard and fat Bass fingers, lol!
BTW - I did debate make my objection known on a Roy Master's video where he said he THINKS he may be the Elijah in the Bible who is supposed to precede the second coming of the Lord. But this is you tube and who knows if anyone will listen to or even read my little comment. I should make a video, huh? OR maybe I should just write in to him.
@Upritebass I would love to sit down with this guy for a couple of hours & talk to him. i think it MAY B mutually beneficial. That "Elijah" thing he mentioned did urk me. But he didn't actually say he is, but sometimes he thinks he is? I'd like to set him straight on some Biblical facts. I mean ...he himself admits he is not an expert in that field. And GOD KNOWS, neither am I, but I think I could clarify a FEW things to help KEEP him from the lures of over inflated ego if he is so inclined.
@Upritebass Actually I chose that name because you just can't knock me down no matter how hard you try......and even if you do, I'll pop right back up again, y'know ?! Besides...I think the real clowns in this world are probably the wisest ones of us all!
Hating Roy is irrelevant and illogical, so of course I don't do it nor condone anyone who does. All I want on my channel is for people speak their minds, whatever is up in there, even if it's just to disagree with or even attack me.
@Upritebass More than once I've heard him do it.......he takes a dramatic pause and then changes the tone of his voice to a leaden quality....then says: ' I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness....'......then another dramatic pause. He's actually quite a showman. He's also quite fascinated with himself, don't ya know???
@Upritebass That's Roy all over. He's willing to sacrifice anything around him including human beings, just for the attention he can get. He's willing to be offensive to that effect as well, but he's also revealing the truth about himself. He's got a chip on his shoulder over that lady because she could see through his B.S., but her husband could not.
I have never met Roy Masters. I used his meditation a few years and I know how it changes everything from negative to positive, from evil to goodness and being close to God and Jesus. Whoever opposes him will be defeating his or herself because anyone opposing who is with God and has God and Jesus power with them will lose their good fortune. The meditation Roy M teaches gives great inner peace, love, joy, and removes anger, violence, and addictions to alcohol, drugs and tobacco.
Insensitive? He called it like it is. As Roy says, most get married for all the wrong reasons and this is simply an example of that. Her ego couldn't take the change in her husband. Being "senstive" is not always the right way.
What she was saying was that the changes she saw in her husband were bad changes. It had nothing to do with not wanting him to be 'the man'....it was that the type of man he was becoming under Roy's influence was an asshole. Roy's insensitive because he has this itty bitty teeny weeny narrow little mind and can only see women as pure evil. Objective?? He is NOT.
Look at that devil Hassan he's a prick if I was there I'd beat the shit out of him. ofc this was the 19gay80's.. besides that woman who acted "hurt" was a real bitch you don't have to discern that.. she proved that by her slutty innocent happy behavior every woman has when she really deep under feels like a tramp.. no wonder her husband left her.
I think you know what I meant. You claim to be "open" with your dialogue here but attempt to control certain adjectives that are used that are not to your liking. Is that "open"?
I'm 'open' because I allow you or anyone else to say literally ANYTHING YOU WANT without me blocking you or deleting your comments. You should see some of the obscene and disgusting comments that have been left on these vids, and I haven't deleted them. Being 'open' doesn't mean I have to agree with everything that's posted. Just like you don't have to agree with the likes of me!!! That's how it works.
What the heck is wrong with choosing my own words? Do you have a problem with someone who thinks for herself? If so, it is because you don't think for yourself, you think with Roy's thoughts and not your own, and you can't comprehend someone who doesn't need a guru.
As far as not being 'open' to you, did you not see the nice comment I left on your channel, kindly thanking for your all your cmments? Have you said one nice thing to me? Nope.
To answer your other question, no, I would not debate you on television. I have no axe to grind with Roy Masters or you. I merely attempt to question your comments on this forum, which you have chosen as a place to crusade against a particular man and his ideas.
Please stop using that emotionally-charged word 'crusade'.....I am not trying to accomplish anything on this forum except open communication. You'll notice I allow anyone to comment, and I allow them to say anything they want even if only to insult or attack me. I have never once removed anyone's comments..whereas on the other pro-Roy channels, any negative comment gets deleted and that person gets blocked. So what's your beef with me when I am being fair ?
He has no beef with you, retard. His point is absolutely perfect and yours is "oh don't accuse me I'm a woman buuhuu" Sorry honey.. Once feminization of this world is coming to end so will the woman's role of the dominant seductive serpent and the higher hierarchy of men will be restored.
You sound like a typical pussy-whipped male who doesn't know how to handle a woman, so you dream of a day when women are under your feet. Ain't going to happen.
Hi Linda, I've been listening Roy's radiotalks and agree with most of what he's saying. I've seen your videos about Roy too, thanks for them. I agree with you what you say about Roy been disrespectful against women. in his radiotalks he has said how he humiliates her wife in front of everybody. That ain't right.
About a year ago, Roy said on one of his Sunday broadcasts how he just loves to correct and humiliate his wife in public at every opportunity, because when he points out her weaknesses he always feels stronger. How about that....living with a flawed woman makes him more of a man because he has someone he can correct all the time. In my opinion, Roy is not a man at all. He's a corrupted facsimile of a man.
If you believe that Roy Masters is so full of shit and it bothers you so much then why not start your own talk or TV show to counter his ideas instead of groundlessly slandering him on YouTube like your doing? Kind of spineless to be attacking him from behind, isn't it?
No, Mr. Roy Toy, it bothers me not at all. I am only stating my opinion here. It's not at all spineless for me to appear on live television and confront him -- nor is it spineless for me to post these videos and open myself up to criticism and attack by anyone who wants to do so.
How about you? Would you debate me on live television? Where's your spine, Mr. Roy Toy?
I love Roy he has helped me create a wonderful family in love and a relationship that surpasses any I can see. The woman I meant saw the love foir truth that radiates from me and stepped by my side forever with security and tough love and understanding, the long lasting kind. Love is patience
The title should be renamed to "I'm an evil psychotic bitch and Roy saw through me all along" Linda please go kill along with the rest of the female psychotic race. You are all seriously demented.
Wow, you could see the look of pleasure on the woman's face when people started criticising Roy. Roy was just stating what most people with some common sense were thinking. That her husband changed his outlook and she didn't like it. She resented it. Yet look at how she relishes being able to make Roy look like the bad guy. Bet she did that to her husband. No man who woke up to the fact those games were being played on him would stay around.
...and I guess the balding gentleman likes women or something unacceptable like that.
Most of us haven't had the psychotic mind warp you have had involving Mr. Masters. These clips are about YOU. You either abuse persciption meds, shoot heroin, or are into some church religion that has as little to do with Christianity as possible.
So what's wrong with being insensitive to someone who's created their own problems? If they want to go down an inadvisable path that's not his problem is it.
The lady's husband had a personal quest for understanding and that's a noble thing to reach for. What's her problem?
Call me a nut, but I don't think it is EVER appropriate to be insensitive. This woman's problem was not with her husband's 'quest for truth', her problem was the bad effect it had on him. (I personally met the man she was married to myself, and she was correct in her assessment of the fact he was PROGRAMMED and not a real man at all....)
Well I don't know what he was like at home, but it seems to me the lady was attacking the basis of the meditation, like you do. I believe she was also on a talk show programme with you, against Roy.
If she's attacking Roy's teachings, I've gotta say I'm with her husband on this one.
Saying this I've had much experience myself with the Roybots and it's true they are caught up with Roy *but it's not his fault and he distances himself from their kind publicly.
What about being insensitive to someone who wants to destroy you or cause harm? I'm using an extreme case here. I don't wish to sound cruel, and I'm quite a sensitive person myself, but I'd draw the line in situations like that.
But her husband doesn't look that manly and it's possible he had a few faults where he was, like the Roybots, under a compulsion to speak up about every little thing and make an argument over the vacuuming or what TV channel to watch. 'I'm the man-I'll decide!!'
It occurred to me this morning maybe the reason he doesn't look that manly is because she dominated him. Maybe he was so in love with his very beautiful wife he lost contact with his creator (inner grounding). Maybe he was starting to break away and become his own person-but hopefully not to the extent he didn't care for her and want her at all.
Pulsar205 I agree with you completely and thank you for saying something nice.
I'm getting bored with your clips now inflatableclown6. The parakeets and you talkiing over them. It would be nice if you could upload the entire broadcast and let us paint our own picture. You've gotten enough attention from me and enjoyed it completely but none of my comments were to benefit you.
It's actually a good piece of tv-better than Friends or Frasier or any garbage like that. Here is a striking case of someone becoming a man and how his wife can't stand God coming alive in him-brilliant!
Look at your hand ....wow... how insightfull. NOW THAT'S MEDITATION !!!..Masters is a charlatan,if he wasn't doing this he'd be lucky to work at Macy's... he is a blubbering, resentfull, impotent, iconoclastic, vengefull, sick turdfaced BASTARD !!!!!
Who thinks they are clever because they find fault when they look for it? Who would rather walk alone in understanding and truth than w/countless people who believe in their own mistakes? I know so many people who get so disappointed in people they don't even respect, it's such a waste of mind and spirit.
The man at the end proves not all women are "VICTIMS". His wife was leaving "HIM" not the other way around. If you noticed after he told the liberal fucking host, the host turned away because the mans statement did not enable him to help demonize men the way the liberal feminist bull dyke man haters he represents wanted him to. Yes, he is doing this because these are the causes communists perpetrate.
You sound like a woman hater. Do you have a woman? Oh, of course you don't. You need to go bar-hopping and find yourself one. Perhaps she will enjoy you ruling her.
Actually I'm married to a beautiful "decent" woman with a 5 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. You wouldnt know anything about that because of your man hating issues. No man would want a raving psychopathic man hater like you anywhere near them. Nice try though bitch by trying to call me the hater when it is you who are the hater. By the way, my wife thinks you are a lazy ass lying gold digger too!
What does she think of your bar-hopping? Or perhaps she gets a babysitter for her kids while the two of you go bar-hopping. The couple that drinks together stinks together.
If this clip conincided with the woman's first comment, Masters is being an ass, he's playing the typical f, fundie attack dog. He seems to like adding fuel to the fire. However, if she talked before the clip, it could be taken out of context.
What is wrong with a woman leading and correcting herself? Are men the only creatures that can be "noble"? I have met several men who were followers of Roy, and not a single one of them knew how to handle women. They all bought into Roy Masters' lie that women are a "metaphysical force", a concept that gives women mythological godlike power. I ask you,how does one deal with that? Masters has a fear/hate relationship with women and he passes it on to his followers.
I am an independent, attractive, sucessful woman. I have no need for a relationship with a weak man. Of course relatioships are mutual. But I agree that I would be more comfortable with a man that brings just a little more than I have to the table. I do have men in my life who know how to deal with woman ( me included)and its a joy.
Roy Masters is a brilliant man. He speaks many deep truths and offers help to people with problems. Instead of offering real solutions, he does the opposite. Followers are gradually stripped of their personalities, self-esteem, friends, and, in the case of the video, wife. This creates a huge void, which Roy is more than happy to fill. Brilliant! Just brilliant!
actually i just got engaged . you got alot of bitterness woman and resentment. you cant let go of the past because of your hate. Just like Roy masters says your hating his guts and he doesnt even know about it . its sorta sad that after all this time your still obessive about this.
You must not be following any of my posts. I don't even have to get rid of resentment against Masters because I never had it in the first place. I'm a Christian, and hate has NO place with me. I'm not doing these forums for me, I'm doing them for those who find them helpful or interesting. Roy's teachings have caused a lot of damage to many people's lives, and I want to help them by giving them a chance to say what is in their heart, or just read what others say.
We appreciate your attempts at helping people but you will help no one until you understand the message Roy is trying to relate. It's simply be aware and not lost in your thoughts and easily manipulated by outside sources like the media, movies and the government. More and more Americans are in a hypnotic trance induced purposely by rock music designed to put us into a trance. We must wake up - for Satan comes as a thief in the night - we must be sober, somber and aware, that's all.
I understand very well Roy's message, because I did the meditation honestly and sincerely. There is nothing wrong with what Roy says he is trying to do -- I'm just saying that all this objective awareness you think you're getting from the meditation is an illusion created by a master hypnotist. Awareness cannot be achieved by hypnosis. Roy's meditation is a sham and a fraud. It does not deliver the goods it promises.
Are you saying that rock music is a purposeful tool to put Americans in a trance? Do you mean that in a conspiratorial way? -just wondering.
Also, yes we must be aware. We should be consumer watchdogs about stuff that's being fed into us from everywhere. It's funny though, when I hear people say we need to "wake up" it's usually a political dimension that we're being asked to wake up to and everyone has a pet thing that they want others to wake up to.
Think back to when you've seen documentaries of African tribes dancing standing around in circle type positions and there is a constant beat of a drum. The people rhythmically dance to the beat, over and over and over until some of them go into a trance, some can walk on burning coals, some pierce their bodies without pain and other acts are carried out. Cannibalism was reported as late as 1975 in Nigeria, I couldn't find it after that but then I didn't research it more than a couple of minutes.
I think you're somewhat mixing up African tribes with Voodoo rituals in Haiti... let's just say, point taken. However my question was whether you thought that rock music in America, as you say, was "purposefully... designed to put us into a trance" --do you mean that in a conspiratorial way, like how Roy points to techniques devised specifically by communists to infiltrate the educational system and indocrinate?
Yes,in a deliberate conspiratorial way. We must be fooled and "put under" in order for the dark forces of this world to have our way with us. The folks here that think people come under a spell initiated by Roy seem to be working for them, one of their tactics is to accuse others of exactly what they are doing. It was a clear maneuver used by the KGB and marxists against us. This is what Roy is really trying to get everyone to awaken to, the reality that our nation & our minds are being lost.
If Roy really cared about the human mind being lost, he wouldn't try to perpetrate a "meditation" exercise in which he takes the place of a person's own thinking and conscience by transferring power over to himself. No one should ever take control over another's mind for any reason. Well, except for cult leaders.
Roy shows that people do not have control of their own minds, but are constantly acting under old compulsions. The meditation can wake you up and let you get control of your mind.(probably for the first time)
Although I did not exercise his meditation techniques for many years after I started listening to his show, it does allow one who has a problem with accepting reality to be able to see it for what it is. That is all I gained from it, otherwise I dont need it and never did . It was interesting and closely resembles other forms of meditation but it ,like most all other things here must not be over utilized.Roy is a very valid human being and his interpretations of biblical teachings are reasonable
Oh, Roy is always talking about things that can relate completely to the political dimension. Be aware, be awake, be sober...who said that? (Jesus) Become aware of the powers that are converging to enslave you and me. You can also get the same message from George Carlin, the comedian, and get a good laugh about it as well.
That sounds good about objective awareness. The problem is that Roy is a master hypnotist, an extremist, exaggerates reality, and tends to turn his followers against their own friends and often family.
Roy's power lies in his ability to mask his lies carefully inside of truths. As a master hypnotist, he gradually bends his follower's minds. Sure, they may have given up music or drugs, but now they are Roy's puppet.
He is absolutely not masking any lies, if you feel he is, then tell me, please, which ones they are. You have to listen to him in full context & understand what he is saying. The true meaning of his message is to be aware that the downfall of America is imminent and it all began in your homes back in the 1960's and '70's. I agree. He is trying to make Americans aware before it is too late. Lastly, if his listeners are puppets, then what does he have them do?
For 7 years I believed almost everything Roy taught. During that time, I volunteered at FHU and spent time at TTR.
He is absolutely right that America is falling apart and the citizens are to blame. That makes him look pretty good. At one time, I truly believed that if more people understood his message, that our country could be saved from ruin.
Believing his message, I got others to listen to his show. It seemed like an important mission, but I could never have been so wrong...
Roy Masters often warns listeners about mind control and hypnosis, yet he practices it. He says he never sins, yet he judges people and does get angry. He once said that if a person gave up sin, that person would never die a physical death. Of course everyone dies. Even Jesus died a physical death.
Roy says that if you don't agree with him, then you are wrong. But he's not always right.
During the 1980's Roy taught a hate message blaming, in particular, women and parents.
BadfingerFan: I think that what you say has value, because you are not just on the outside looking in, you have practiced what Roy preaches and even lived in close proximity to him for a time. You got to see it all really up close and personal and now have a very clear and honest perspective to share with others. I wish people could see what you are saying, it's all very clear.
Objectivity sounds great, but have you noticed that Roy is one of the most opinionated persons on the planet? He's constantly judging people, but he calls it objectivity!
When Roy gets really mad with someone, he may call him or her a homosexual!
And, of course, he says he never sins! Now who'se the fruit cake?
When it comes to relationships breaking down, the both people usually retreat into the injured party mode. That's what's happening here. The deceits that can go on behind closed doors are myriad and you just never know. No doubt the guy's new-found immersion in Roy's world precipitated a widening rift effect but I can also appreciate whatever bitter dynamic that motivated his escape into that world. Maybe they both deserved each other.
Of course we don't know what went on behind closed doors. The point here seems to be, the changes in the husband were not helpful for the relationship. He may have thought he was following "understanding", but according to the wife he was following selfishness more. Roy Masters' teaching do NOT always bring out the best in people. Sometimes they bring out the worst.
You've got it in one; people chasing salvation at the expense of their family relationships are selfish, and as for "We're going to sit in heaven and watch all our former family members burn in hell", how selfish is that? Besides, the Bible states quite clearly that only those whose names have been in the Book of Life from the beginning can be "saved" so following Masters, The Pope, or anybody else, is a complete waste of time; it's just vanity.
That is good and Roy does laugh. There are other moments like that in the show, like when Steve calls out "Rueben... Obermeister" to Roy and it creates a little speed bump in Roy's finger-wagging delivery. He smiles in a certain way where he actually looks kinda' cool. It's very fleeting but a good moment. It's almost like a comedy pairing; the classic tall skinny guy with fat guy.
Do you mean that sarcastically? Isn't that supposed to be the Christian order in the family? The subject of Patriarchy is central to the discussion of Roy. It's the big subtext of religion and the cultural rebellion against failing fathers and hypocrisy. It's in the backdrop shaping politics and the deep rift between Left and Right. Huge, huge subject.
Yes, I have personally seen Christian marriages in which the husband is the boss, the wife second in command. But there was also MUTUAL respect and loving unselfishness involved, with BOTH persons being also submitted to God. Not the same as the wife being under the husband's "control". In Masters' style of marriage counseling, there is always an eternal power struggle, hence the assessment of marriage being a "hell on earth."
That's Roy's MO. Pit men, women, and family members against each other for some sick agenda. His philosophy and "path to enlightenment" are merely a lure or a cover-up for his campaign against genuine love and emotion. According to him all parents destroy their children, and all wives make men's lives hell due to their intrisic wickedness. Here he doesn't even pretend to have compassion or understanding. "Understanding" is understanding things his way. I'm sorry geniune seekers get caught up.
He never said "all" parents. I've heard him say on numerous occasions that if a kid has two loving parents, the mother who loves the noble father, the kids will come out alright. And he also says that a man will be able to withstand his wife if he has the holy spirit in him and take away her 'instinctive wickedness'.
And when you get to Isaiah 65, there he is ranting about people who eat swine, which are "unclean". So how did they get to be "unclean" when in Genesis this supposedly same god created everything and saw that it was "good"?
Hey, I think I'll upset Masters, like I did when he was over here, by making myself a nice bacon sarnie. Yum....bacon sarnies.
Christians are traitors to their family, friends, and country. They serve a foreign deity. All Christians should be shot for treason. Their agenda is a one world order under Jesus Christ, when Jesus Christ said "My Kingdom is not of this world" so they're not even loyal to their own "Master". Actually, if they want to learn to appreciate their Master's suffering properly, we should crucify them all. That would give them understanding. Furthermore, Christianity is a slave's religion.
Lord: Are you being facetious or serious here? It was our Christian forefathers who wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights that guarantees freedom of religion -- that means EVERYONE'S freedom to worship, or NOT worship as they please. How is that traitorous? Roy, on the other hand, would like to create an American theocracy with himself in the dictator's chair. That is traitorous, in my opinion.
Actually The Founders weren't Christians; they were Diests. Jefferson edited his own version of the gospels, omitting all references to the virgin births, miracles, ressurection, etc, in the belief that the important lesson we derivefrom the story of Christ was his grasp of higher reasoning.
Yeah, but it just so happens that this nation become the most powerful nation on earth, with Majority Christians. WE were allowed freedom of religion.
The camera caught Linda smiling and laughing with her friends when her husband, Peter, was talking with Ken. I met them both. He rejected his wife in favor of Roy. He embraced coldness and aloofness rather than the kind warmth of his wife. He took all their money and left his wife and kids at Christmas time to go to one of Roy's seminars. He hurt his family very badly. Now that's a real man for you!!
For me love in relationship means to let eatch other free, not to make one slave.
linzki 1 year ago
I agree with you, and I also agree with many things Roy says. However....I don't agree with how he whitewashes all women as being 'the embodiment of evil' and all that ridiculous rhetoric.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@inflatableclown6 I think he had a rough marriage or something. I could understand his feelings, and sometimes my own experiences with know it all false accusing females made me think that too about many women. This is just my experiences. Yet not every woman is like that. Man or woman, one has to rise above that. Look at Mother Theresa. One can argue wether or not people have sin natures, but it can be gradually conquered. I think women are more whitewashed and encouraged than men in the USA.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass I suppose what I really object to are the inflammatory and outrageous unfounded statements Roy makes, such as 'women are all born insane, no exceptions.' Is he saying that because he really believes it, or just to get people to listen to him, if only to hear the next ridiculous outlandish thing he might say? He sounds dead serious, though, so I think he really believes what he says.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@inflatableclown6 I don't doubt we're all a bit loose in the scruples FROM birth, but I think that applies to both genders. Something we grapple w/and hopefully get better with as we grow. Sometimes I think a child knows more truth, not all, than some adults. Somuch hurting conditioning & insinuations out there.
I'm used to women thinking they're so much better or nearly perfect. Now if roy would say baby boys are born perect, I'd disagree. Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@inflatableclown6 I do appreciate the heads up. And I will also keep my rabbit ears of caution up. I simply like te basic body of ideology I hear here. Never heard so much THESE particular ideas coming from one place. Yet I heard some of the ideas I heard here phrased a bit better from someone else, But the basic truth or meaning I understood. Yeah, I'd stay away from saying things like All women are born insane. In a way it's true? But so are all men.....
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass , .... maybe with the exception of JC if you're a christian.
But I'll admot it about myself. I have a few screws loose sometimes. All one has to do is look at some of my silly you tube comments, lol! If something did hurt you, I sympathize deeply. First, if any consolation, you will be in my prayers, and second: Be assured my rabbit ears of cautiion & discernment tend to be up at all times with most of what I hear from anyone.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Okay, except Ray Brown. He's god (small G) in my book. :-)
GREAT Bass player and gentleman. I don't know what happened with Linda, or her particular mindset (is inflatable clown actually Linda? I'm sorry, I'm always in such a rush on youtube) , but if Linda is inflatable clown, The clown seems to have some pretty good personal perspectives about some things. Just saying, you know? You seem pretty open and nice. Will BBL! Need to do some stuff around here.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass I can handle the statement of 'all women are born insane' if the delivery of such is tongue-in-cheek. I don't think Roy is trying to be funny, however. He's not performing before a comedy club. He's speaking to an audience whose rapt attention is his lifeblood. He's the ultimate parasite. Without his audience he's nothing. Without his outrageous claptrap he wouldn't have an audience and he'd have nothing to live on.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@inflatableclown6 Well, that's debatable - wether he'd have nothing to live on. I don't know one way or another. I perceive you got hurt by this or several times?
Personally speaking, I hear some good things/good ideas from him. I don't know if he means some of the things you object to in comedic way. or attn, or whatever. O
ve heard worse, and have been attacked worse? But I have to admit it wasn't on mass media. I don't know how I'd react then..
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass I filter out many things I hear and not let it bother me. What can you do? But I have to admit, I've never been called anything on nat'l TV. That is why I shy away from the camera here in our studio too. (not MY studio, but where we tape sometimes). Even one comment can be very humiliating even if no one really notices or remembers. Certain ideologies I hear from Roy are really true, and I agree with much of what he says. And I don't see him as a messiah either.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass He's not a corrupted facsimile of a man in my view. What I see him doing alot, in his effect, even if it NOT his intention, is teach men to complete to be free within. And be resilient towards society and try to do the right things no matter what anyone thinks - as well as not retaliate with resentment. i really think Roy retaliated with resentment sometimes on his radio program. YET, some of his philosophies are very true and helpful.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass If I were him, I'd just admit it, because sometimes it's blaringly obvious that he's pissed on his program, but I can look past all that because he does a lot of good. I can't just consider him a total waste product. Some people do, oh well. I will tell you 1 thing I disagree with that he says: (in essence, that) Women don't necessarily need men to complete them.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass BUT I don't think men necessarily need women to complete them either. That's where men have gone wrong Big Time. We've got to be able to have inner assurance no matter what society says, and persue peace yet with integrity and grow in it, A lot of the negative self image it is society and peer conditioning, I think.
I'm going to keep listening to him? And believe me, I filter.
Don;t worry too much about this guy.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Sorry about my typos. I'm talking and typing at the same time and am in a rush. So many projects to do, yet so little time. It would be nice if there was 48 hours in a day and we'd only have to sleep 9 of them..
Anyway, bye. :-]
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Oh heavens.....the last thing I ever worry about anymore is 'ole Roy. I do believe he says things of value, but you have to dig through a ton of sh*t to get to one good thing and I just don't need to waste my time. I'm evolving far away from ever needing any human to direct or lead me, especially one who claims he's talked about in the Lost Books of the Bible.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@Upritebass I think Roy is trying to teach the right thing (at times), but I think he goes about it all wrong. If people find the things he says effective and helpful, it is because he's only sparking something they already have inside and they deserve the credit for their realization, not Roy. But Roy loves to heap the credit and the accolades on himself. He's a chump.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@Upritebass Lots of stuff bugs me about Roy, but probably the biggest bugger is the fact that he used to rail on and on about ego and how it is our downfall.....however all I see in him IS ego. His ego just glows when he's in front of an audience and the rapt attention of everyone is on him, and how they hang upon his every word. He's off the egometer !! He's a crappy example of what he talks about, yet will he admit it? Hell no.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@Upritebass What I got hurt by was thinking that Roy had answers that I needed for my life, and I literally re-arranged my entire existence around seeking the 'truth' he talked about...only to find out he's nothing more than a magician with a charismatic persona. What really bugs me is people who are so star-struck by Roy, when I can so easily see through him. To me he's just full of himself and nothing else. I've found what I need in life and don't need to listen to his garbage anymore.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@inflatableclown6 If that what he is doing, i agree - it should not be done. Honestly, I don't. Some of what I hear him say sort of spurs my own thinking process. I only listen to him once a week and would never think of going overboard in my following of him nor anyone really. Right now, some of the things I hear have a good effect on me. But there's the difference.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Paul said soething to the effect that wether the Gospel be preached for sordid gain or or from genuineness, thank God it is being preached.
Now I'm not saying Roy is always preaching the Gospel, but I'm drawing an analogy that there are some good philosophies and helpful hints he speaks of.
But going overboard for the messenger and not the message also seems to be a problem with many people these days.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Paul wrote that he himself had better be obedient to his own message lest he become a throw away. Now concerning what you say he said about Roy claiming to be in the Lost books of the Bible: Which books of the Bible considered "lost" are debatable. But I've read the Books of Enoch also referred to by Peter in the Canoniacal Bible, and Enoch was considered acceptable reading in the early days of Christianity. BUT I've never seen Roy mentioned in them.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass In a general sense - as "saints of God" he may have been mentioned - but that depends on Roy - wether or not he will be a "throw away" in God's eyes.
Just relistening to this video, I caught something rather insensitive he said. Someone told him "You're being insensitive to her" or somesuch. He responded "Oh absolutely." I would have responded: Sorry, I don't mean to be,
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Also concerning the Bible - it mentions many will give in to lying and seducing spirits in the last days. Fame and power can be lures to that effect.
As the old saying goes: Absolute power corrupts absolutely." God, the spirit of truth may be exempt from that, and because he also limited himself in that he won't go past our own free wills. But for people generally, it doesn't take much
for most peoples' egos to go straight thru the roof.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass And honestly, we aren't all that. Even if a person reaches the point of having totally GOOD motivations, what power do people really have? No where close to God. Repeatedly, writers of the Bible said they have no power. In fact, God didn't even work thru them in power unless was a relative conformity to his will. Jesus himself said he could do nothing on his own and what he sees the Father do, he also does. BUT he had that perfect touch with God -being (supposedly)God in the flesh
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass We aren't, and are not perfect. So I guess all I can say if Roy crosses the line is the same as what jesus said to the religious leaders of His day (the Parisees and such) : Do as they say, but not as they do - concerning the Laws of God. So that's where my filtering comes in. Yeah, I hear a lot of good stuff on his RADIO program, but not everything. I will do the stuff that is helpful to me, and disregard the rest and debate it if I have opportunity.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Again .... sorry about my typos. I hate that. i think it's due to a combination of a weird keyboard and fat Bass fingers, lol!
BTW - I did debate make my objection known on a Roy Master's video where he said he THINKS he may be the Elijah in the Bible who is supposed to precede the second coming of the Lord. But this is you tube and who knows if anyone will listen to or even read my little comment. I should make a video, huh? OR maybe I should just write in to him.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass I would love to sit down with this guy for a couple of hours & talk to him. i think it MAY B mutually beneficial. That "Elijah" thing he mentioned did urk me. But he didn't actually say he is, but sometimes he thinks he is? I'd like to set him straight on some Biblical facts. I mean ...he himself admits he is not an expert in that field. And GOD KNOWS, neither am I, but I think I could clarify a FEW things to help KEEP him from the lures of over inflated ego if he is so inclined.
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass BTW - I object to your name Inflatable clown.
I thought you would slam me all over the place because i don't HATE roy.
You're not, and I thank you for that. In my book (figuratively speaking for my view)
.... I think that's pretty cool. You're not an "Inflatable Clown" :-]
Upritebass 1 year ago
@Upritebass Actually I chose that name because you just can't knock me down no matter how hard you try......and even if you do, I'll pop right back up again, y'know ?! Besides...I think the real clowns in this world are probably the wisest ones of us all!
Hating Roy is irrelevant and illogical, so of course I don't do it nor condone anyone who does. All I want on my channel is for people speak their minds, whatever is up in there, even if it's just to disagree with or even attack me.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@Upritebass More than once I've heard him do it.......he takes a dramatic pause and then changes the tone of his voice to a leaden quality....then says: ' I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness....'......then another dramatic pause. He's actually quite a showman. He's also quite fascinated with himself, don't ya know???
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
@Upritebass That's Roy all over. He's willing to sacrifice anything around him including human beings, just for the attention he can get. He's willing to be offensive to that effect as well, but he's also revealing the truth about himself. He's got a chip on his shoulder over that lady because she could see through his B.S., but her husband could not.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
I have never met Roy Masters. I used his meditation a few years and I know how it changes everything from negative to positive, from evil to goodness and being close to God and Jesus. Whoever opposes him will be defeating his or herself because anyone opposing who is with God and has God and Jesus power with them will lose their good fortune. The meditation Roy M teaches gives great inner peace, love, joy, and removes anger, violence, and addictions to alcohol, drugs and tobacco.
allie3579 1 year ago
Insensitive? He called it like it is. As Roy says, most get married for all the wrong reasons and this is simply an example of that. Her ego couldn't take the change in her husband. Being "senstive" is not always the right way.
splatterviz 2 years ago
What she was saying was that the changes she saw in her husband were bad changes. It had nothing to do with not wanting him to be 'the man'....it was that the type of man he was becoming under Roy's influence was an asshole. Roy's insensitive because he has this itty bitty teeny weeny narrow little mind and can only see women as pure evil. Objective?? He is NOT.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
Dont allow yourself to be controlled by anyone else that is what you will hear from Roy. How can that wimp someone out? LOL
freederfy 2 years ago
Look at that devil Hassan he's a prick if I was there I'd beat the shit out of him. ofc this was the 19gay80's.. besides that woman who acted "hurt" was a real bitch you don't have to discern that.. she proved that by her slutty innocent happy behavior every woman has when she really deep under feels like a tramp.. no wonder her husband left her.
FlawlessCock 2 years ago
No, she left him. Roy Masters wimped him out so badly that she left him for a real man.
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
I think you know what I meant. You claim to be "open" with your dialogue here but attempt to control certain adjectives that are used that are not to your liking. Is that "open"?
museack 2 years ago
I'm 'open' because I allow you or anyone else to say literally ANYTHING YOU WANT without me blocking you or deleting your comments. You should see some of the obscene and disgusting comments that have been left on these vids, and I haven't deleted them. Being 'open' doesn't mean I have to agree with everything that's posted. Just like you don't have to agree with the likes of me!!! That's how it works.
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
"Please stop using that emotionally-charged word 'crusade'.....I am not trying to accomplish anything on this forum except open communication".
Open communication with words that you choose? Doesn't seem very "open" to me, especially coming from someone who charges Roy of being a charlatan.
museack 2 years ago
What the heck is wrong with choosing my own words? Do you have a problem with someone who thinks for herself? If so, it is because you don't think for yourself, you think with Roy's thoughts and not your own, and you can't comprehend someone who doesn't need a guru.
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
As far as not being 'open' to you, did you not see the nice comment I left on your channel, kindly thanking for your all your cmments? Have you said one nice thing to me? Nope.
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
To answer your other question, no, I would not debate you on television. I have no axe to grind with Roy Masters or you. I merely attempt to question your comments on this forum, which you have chosen as a place to crusade against a particular man and his ideas.
museack 2 years ago
Please stop using that emotionally-charged word 'crusade'.....I am not trying to accomplish anything on this forum except open communication. You'll notice I allow anyone to comment, and I allow them to say anything they want even if only to insult or attack me. I have never once removed anyone's comments..whereas on the other pro-Roy channels, any negative comment gets deleted and that person gets blocked. So what's your beef with me when I am being fair ?
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
He has no beef with you, retard. His point is absolutely perfect and yours is "oh don't accuse me I'm a woman buuhuu" Sorry honey.. Once feminization of this world is coming to end so will the woman's role of the dominant seductive serpent and the higher hierarchy of men will be restored.
FlawlessCock 2 years ago
You sound like a typical pussy-whipped male who doesn't know how to handle a woman, so you dream of a day when women are under your feet. Ain't going to happen.
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
Hi Linda, I've been listening Roy's radiotalks and agree with most of what he's saying. I've seen your videos about Roy too, thanks for them. I agree with you what you say about Roy been disrespectful against women. in his radiotalks he has said how he humiliates her wife in front of everybody. That ain't right.
linzki 1 year ago
About a year ago, Roy said on one of his Sunday broadcasts how he just loves to correct and humiliate his wife in public at every opportunity, because when he points out her weaknesses he always feels stronger. How about that....living with a flawed woman makes him more of a man because he has someone he can correct all the time. In my opinion, Roy is not a man at all. He's a corrupted facsimile of a man.
inflatableclown6 1 year ago
When you get an honest response all you seem to want to do is name call.
museack 2 years ago
If you believe that Roy Masters is so full of shit and it bothers you so much then why not start your own talk or TV show to counter his ideas instead of groundlessly slandering him on YouTube like your doing? Kind of spineless to be attacking him from behind, isn't it?
museack 2 years ago
Roy Toy?
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
I love Roy he has helped me create a wonderful family in love and a relationship that surpasses any I can see. The woman I meant saw the love foir truth that radiates from me and stepped by my side forever with security and tough love and understanding, the long lasting kind. Love is patience

FlawlessCock 2 years ago
What ? 'Go kill'?? What a bizarre thing to say.
I don't give flip if Roy 'saw through me.' All that matters is that people see through his bullshit.
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
Yeah, it was at about 00:27. after Hassan started snarling at Roy and trying to shut Roy up. Small petty people.
Indygoguy 2 years ago
Wow, you could see the look of pleasure on the woman's face when people started criticising Roy. Roy was just stating what most people with some common sense were thinking. That her husband changed his outlook and she didn't like it. She resented it. Yet look at how she relishes being able to make Roy look like the bad guy. Bet she did that to her husband. No man who woke up to the fact those games were being played on him would stay around.
Indygoguy 2 years ago
...and I guess the balding gentleman likes women or something unacceptable like that.
Most of us haven't had the psychotic mind warp you have had involving Mr. Masters. These clips are about YOU. You either abuse persciption meds, shoot heroin, or are into some church religion that has as little to do with Christianity as possible.

inflatableclown6 2 years ago
So what's wrong with being insensitive to someone who's created their own problems? If they want to go down an inadvisable path that's not his problem is it.
The lady's husband had a personal quest for understanding and that's a noble thing to reach for. What's her problem?
Pulsar205 2 years ago
Call me a nut, but I don't think it is EVER appropriate to be insensitive. This woman's problem was not with her husband's 'quest for truth', her problem was the bad effect it had on him. (I personally met the man she was married to myself, and she was correct in her assessment of the fact he was PROGRAMMED and not a real man at all....)
inflatableclown6 2 years ago
Well I don't know what he was like at home, but it seems to me the lady was attacking the basis of the meditation, like you do. I believe she was also on a talk show programme with you, against Roy.
If she's attacking Roy's teachings, I've gotta say I'm with her husband on this one.
Saying this I've had much experience myself with the Roybots and it's true they are caught up with Roy *but it's not his fault and he distances himself from their kind publicly.
Pulsar205 2 years ago
What about being insensitive to someone who wants to destroy you or cause harm? I'm using an extreme case here. I don't wish to sound cruel, and I'm quite a sensitive person myself, but I'd draw the line in situations like that.
But her husband doesn't look that manly and it's possible he had a few faults where he was, like the Roybots, under a compulsion to speak up about every little thing and make an argument over the vacuuming or what TV channel to watch. 'I'm the man-I'll decide!!'
Pulsar205 2 years ago
It occurred to me this morning maybe the reason he doesn't look that manly is because she dominated him. Maybe he was so in love with his very beautiful wife he lost contact with his creator (inner grounding). Maybe he was starting to break away and become his own person-but hopefully not to the extent he didn't care for her and want her at all.
Pulsar205 2 years ago
Pulsar205 I agree with you completely and thank you for saying something nice.
I'm getting bored with your clips now inflatableclown6. The parakeets and you talkiing over them. It would be nice if you could upload the entire broadcast and let us paint our own picture. You've gotten enough attention from me and enjoyed it completely but none of my comments were to benefit you.

It's actually a good piece of tv-better than Friends or Frasier or any garbage like that. Here is a striking case of someone becoming a man and how his wife can't stand God coming alive in him-brilliant!

What did women do to that man that he has to preach about them being suppressed in a marriage? That is really pathetic and very unhealthy.

Yes, he is doing this because these are the causes communists perpetrate.

inflatableclown6 3 years ago
Actually I'm married to a beautiful "decent" woman with a 5 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. You wouldnt know anything about that because of your man hating issues. No man would want a raving psychopathic man hater like you anywhere near them. Nice try though bitch by trying to call me the hater when it is you who are the hater. By the way, my wife thinks you are a lazy ass lying gold digger too!

Masters has a fear/hate relationship with women and he passes it on to his followers.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
I am an independent, attractive, sucessful woman. I have no need for a relationship with a weak man. Of course relatioships are mutual. But I agree that I would be more comfortable with a man that brings just a little more than I have to the table. I do have men in my life who know how to deal with woman ( me included)and its a joy.

...so do I, they're called "gay" ...: )

Roy Masters is a brilliant man. He speaks many deep truths and offers help to people with problems. Instead of offering real solutions, he does the opposite. Followers are gradually stripped of their personalities, self-esteem, friends, and, in the case of the video, wife. This creates a huge void, which Roy is more than happy to fill. Brilliant! Just brilliant!

Betcha anything you're single. And gonna stay that way.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
actually i just got engaged . you got alot of bitterness woman and resentment. you cant let go of the past because of your hate. Just like Roy masters says your hating his guts and he doesnt even know about it . its sorta sad that after all this time your still obessive about this.
DangeloM27 3 years ago
You must not be following any of my posts. I don't even have to get rid of resentment against Masters because I never had it in the first place. I'm a Christian, and hate has NO place with me. I'm not doing these forums for me, I'm doing them for those who find them helpful or interesting. Roy's teachings have caused a lot of damage to many people's lives, and I want to help them by giving them a chance to say what is in their heart, or just read what others say.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
We appreciate your attempts at helping people but you will help no one until you understand the message Roy is trying to relate. It's simply be aware and not lost in your thoughts and easily manipulated by outside sources like the media, movies and the government. More and more Americans are in a hypnotic trance induced purposely by rock music designed to put us into a trance. We must wake up - for Satan comes as a thief in the night - we must be sober, somber and aware, that's all.
jayne56011 3 years ago 2
I understand very well Roy's message, because I did the meditation honestly and sincerely. There is nothing wrong with what Roy says he is trying to do -- I'm just saying that all this objective awareness you think you're getting from the meditation is an illusion created by a master hypnotist. Awareness cannot be achieved by hypnosis. Roy's meditation is a sham and a fraud. It does not deliver the goods it promises.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
Are you saying that rock music is a purposeful tool to put Americans in a trance? Do you mean that in a conspiratorial way? -just wondering.
Also, yes we must be aware. We should be consumer watchdogs about stuff that's being fed into us from everywhere. It's funny though, when I hear people say we need to "wake up" it's usually a political dimension that we're being asked to wake up to and everyone has a pet thing that they want others to wake up to.
I'll take aware before somber, BTW.

Cannibalism was reported as late as 1975 in Nigeria, I couldn't find it after that but then I didn't research it more than a couple of minutes.
jayne56011 3 years ago
I think you're somewhat mixing up African tribes with Voodoo rituals in Haiti... let's just say, point taken. However my question was whether you thought that rock music in America, as you say, was "purposefully... designed to put us into a trance" --do you mean that in a conspiratorial way, like how Roy points to techniques devised specifically by communists to infiltrate the educational system and indocrinate?
thanks for the discussion, by the way.
FritzOmnibus 3 years ago
Yes,in a deliberate conspiratorial way. We must be fooled and "put under" in order for the dark forces of this world to have our way with us. The folks here that think people come under a spell initiated by Roy seem to be working for them, one of their tactics is to accuse others of exactly what they are doing. It was a clear maneuver used by the KGB and marxists against us. This is what Roy is really trying to get everyone to awaken to, the reality that our nation & our minds are being lost.
jayne56011 3 years ago
If Roy really cared about the human mind being lost, he wouldn't try to perpetrate a "meditation" exercise in which he takes the place of a person's own thinking and conscience by transferring power over to himself. No one should ever take control over another's mind for any reason. Well, except for cult leaders.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
Roy shows that people do not have control of their own minds, but are constantly acting under old compulsions. The meditation can wake you up and let you get control of your mind.(probably for the first time)

aahaahahahaaa!! somebody finally said it!! love it -- thanks roach2001 !!! ya made my day !!

Although I did not exercise his meditation techniques for many years after I started listening to his show, it does allow one who has a problem with accepting reality to be able to see it for what it is. That is all I gained from it, otherwise I dont need it and never did . It was interesting and closely resembles other forms of meditation but it ,like most all other things here must not be over utilized.Roy is a very valid human being and his interpretations of biblical teachings are reasonable
freederfy 2 years ago
Oh, Roy is always talking about things that can relate completely to the political dimension. Be aware, be awake, be sober...who said that? (Jesus) Become aware of the powers that are converging to enslave you and me. You can also get the same message from George Carlin, the comedian, and get a good laugh about it as well.
jayne56011 3 years ago
That sounds good about objective awareness. The problem is that Roy is a master hypnotist, an extremist, exaggerates reality, and tends to turn his followers against their own friends and often family.
Roy's power lies in his ability to mask his lies carefully inside of truths. As a master hypnotist, he gradually bends his follower's minds. Sure, they may have given up music or drugs, but now they are Roy's puppet.
BadfingerFan 3 years ago
He is absolutely not masking any lies, if you feel he is, then tell me, please, which ones they are. You have to listen to him in full context & understand what he is saying. The true meaning of his message is to be aware that the downfall of America is imminent and it all began in your homes back in the 1960's and '70's. I agree. He is trying to make Americans aware before it is too late. Lastly, if his listeners are puppets, then what does he have them do?
jayne56011 3 years ago
For 7 years I believed almost everything Roy taught. During that time, I volunteered at FHU and spent time at TTR.
He is absolutely right that America is falling apart and the citizens are to blame. That makes him look pretty good. At one time, I truly believed that if more people understood his message, that our country could be saved from ruin.
Believing his message, I got others to listen to his show. It seemed like an important mission, but I could never have been so wrong...
BadfingerFan 3 years ago
Roy Masters often warns listeners about mind control and hypnosis, yet he practices it. He says he never sins, yet he judges people and does get angry. He once said that if a person gave up sin, that person would never die a physical death. Of course everyone dies. Even Jesus died a physical death.
Roy says that if you don't agree with him, then you are wrong. But he's not always right.
During the 1980's Roy taught a hate message blaming, in particular, women and parents.
BadfingerFan 3 years ago
BadfingerFan: I think that what you say has value, because you are not just on the outside looking in, you have practiced what Roy preaches and even lived in close proximity to him for a time. You got to see it all really up close and personal and now have a very clear and honest perspective to share with others. I wish people could see what you are saying, it's all very clear.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
Hey bad, I heard Roy in the 80s till now. His whole thing has been to help people to stop their hating and resenting.
sdvma 3 years ago

FritzOmnibus 3 years ago
Of course we don't know what went on behind closed doors. The point here seems to be, the changes in the husband were not helpful for the relationship. He may have thought he was following "understanding", but according to the wife he was following selfishness more. Roy Masters' teaching do NOT always bring out the best in people. Sometimes they bring out the worst.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
You've got it in one; people chasing salvation at the expense of their family relationships are selfish, and as for "We're going to sit in heaven and watch all our former family members burn in hell", how selfish is that? Besides, the Bible states quite clearly that only those whose names have been in the Book of Life from the beginning can be "saved" so following Masters, The Pope, or anybody else, is a complete waste of time; it's just vanity.
LordCerneAbbas 3 years ago
The husband reminds me of Radar on the old MASH show.
I wish I could understand what Hassan is saying to Roy in their private little aside.
FritzOmnibus 3 years ago
In one of the asides when he tells Masters "You keep interrupting because you have such a huge ego." lol Too funny.
Christopher711 3 years ago
That is good and Roy does laugh. There are other moments like that in the show, like when Steve calls out "Rueben... Obermeister" to Roy and it creates a little speed bump in Roy's finger-wagging delivery. He smiles in a certain way where he actually looks kinda' cool. It's very fleeting but a good moment. It's almost like a comedy pairing; the classic tall skinny guy with fat guy.
FritzOmnibus 3 years ago
0:14 Which particular law of the universe states that anyone has a right to control another person?
0:25 What is Master's recommendation for Ego?
0:33 What is so important that is it 'absolutely' neccessary to talk over and cut off a person in mid-sentence?
0:58 On who's authority?
1:04 Tolerance of what?

A wife is supposed to be under her husband's control. Kind of like being in a miniature cult.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
Do you mean that sarcastically? Isn't that supposed to be the Christian order in the family? The subject of Patriarchy is central to the discussion of Roy. It's the big subtext of religion and the cultural rebellion against failing fathers and hypocrisy. It's in the backdrop shaping politics and the deep rift between Left and Right. Huge, huge subject.
FritzOmnibus 3 years ago
Yes, I have personally seen Christian marriages in which the husband is the boss, the wife second in command. But there was also MUTUAL respect and loving unselfishness involved, with BOTH persons being also submitted to God. Not the same as the wife being under the husband's "control". In Masters' style of marriage counseling, there is always an eternal power struggle, hence the assessment of marriage being a "hell on earth."
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
Yes, that's what's happening, but his colossal ego won't let him acknowledge that.
BoxcarJack 3 years ago
That's Roy's MO. Pit men, women, and family members against each other for some sick agenda. His philosophy and "path to enlightenment" are merely a lure or a cover-up for his campaign against genuine love and emotion. According to him all parents destroy their children, and all wives make men's lives hell due to their intrisic wickedness. Here he doesn't even pretend to have compassion or understanding. "Understanding" is understanding things his way. I'm sorry geniune seekers get caught up.
BoxcarJack 3 years ago
"According to him all parents destroy their children, and all wives make men's lives hell due to their intrinsic wickedness."
Shall we simply say that Roy always projects his problems with his parents onto everybody else?
LordCerneAbbas 3 years ago
He never said "all" parents. I've heard him say on numerous occasions that if a kid has two loving parents, the mother who loves the noble father, the kids will come out alright. And he also says that a man will be able to withstand his wife if he has the holy spirit in him and take away her 'instinctive wickedness'.
dbrochu19 3 years ago
You buy that "instinctive wickedness" stuff then? Err...doesn't the Bible say "Judge NOT, least ye be judged"?
As for that "god" Masters worships, didn't he create wickedness? I refer you to the Book of Isaiah.
LordCerneAbbas 3 years ago
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." - Isaiah 45: vs7
So who created evil? Masters god did. It's there in your Bible.
LordCerneAbbas 3 years ago
And when you get to Isaiah 65, there he is ranting about people who eat swine, which are "unclean". So how did they get to be "unclean" when in Genesis this supposedly same god created everything and saw that it was "good"?
Hey, I think I'll upset Masters, like I did when he was over here, by making myself a nice bacon sarnie. Yum....bacon sarnies.

What's your point??
dbrochu19 3 years ago
My point is that Masters is full of shit!
LordCerneAbbas 3 years ago
you must be one of those born again christians or something hahahah
dbrochu19 3 years ago
Christians are traitors to their family, friends, and country. They serve a foreign deity. All Christians should be shot for treason. Their agenda is a one world order under Jesus Christ, when Jesus Christ said "My Kingdom is not of this world" so they're not even loyal to their own "Master". Actually, if they want to learn to appreciate their Master's suffering properly, we should crucify them all. That would give them understanding. Furthermore, Christianity is a slave's religion.
LordCerneAbbas 3 years ago
Lord: Are you being facetious or serious here? It was our Christian forefathers who wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights that guarantees freedom of religion -- that means EVERYONE'S freedom to worship, or NOT worship as they please. How is that traitorous? Roy, on the other hand, would like to create an American theocracy with himself in the dictator's chair. That is traitorous, in my opinion.
inflatableclown6 3 years ago
Actually The Founders weren't Christians; they were Diests. Jefferson edited his own version of the gospels, omitting all references to the virgin births, miracles, ressurection, etc, in the belief that the important lesson we derivefrom the story of Christ was his grasp of higher reasoning.
Verdenfell 3 years ago
Yeah, but it just so happens that this nation become the most powerful nation on earth, with Majority Christians. WE were allowed freedom of religion.

The camera caught Linda smiling and laughing with her friends when her husband, Peter, was talking with Ken. I met them both. He rejected his wife in favor of Roy. He embraced coldness and aloofness rather than the kind warmth of his wife. He took all their money and left his wife and kids at Christmas time to go to one of Roy's seminars. He hurt his family very badly. Now that's a real man for you!!
