@toborg901 In the novel versions, they are the same character - only from two very different point of views of two different persons. (First Louis's, then Lestat's himself.) The movie versions are not the same character. The QOTD film almost completely rewrote the story and the character,s and thus is in no way connected to the IWTV film except by supposedly-basing-on books from the same series by the same author.
I don't think you can compare the two so simply, them playing a extremely different version based on extremely different versions from the books. And thanks. (:
He is in there. Twice. But this video's basic point is to advertise a Lestat&Marius fan site and I also needed the rockstar parts for the beginning, so for those reasons I had to use QOTD more. (: But the actors and films really aren't meant to be this video's main point, not even close. But the books which are brought up with the quotes and questions for newbies and oldies to think about.

If you really adored Lestat wouldn't you want to use Tom Cruise for this video?? The one who actually did it right.
You did put a lot of effort into this though and it came out great.
