Christmas on Bear Mountain was published in 1947, forty years before Ducktales. Fergus McDuck was father to Matilda, Scrooge, and Hortense McDuck. Hortense married Quackmore Duck and was mother to Della Duck and Donald Duck. Della Duck is the mother of Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Hope this helps.
