I'm an evertonian going to marine fc v FCUM only to check out your fans, will they be up for it or what? They look quality here but a not so good on other videos. Also do you mostly just have mancs supporting you now or have plenty of cockney wannabe hardcore fans followed you over from MUFC?
i was reading through the comments and you said man united away support was by far the best in the country, no offence and i don't want to make this an arguement but i disagree. we recently had united at the molineux and they had the yellow green scarfs and L.U.H.G banners. they was good, real good support but the best we seen at the molineux was portsmouth, they was alot louder than united and only brought half the fans. maybe because united see us as a nothing team maybe?
tehy don't use repositioning tactics, there was a long debate about this at the wolves, as you may know our south bank is our main stand and that's the stand they wanted all away support to be. but because of the amount of fans saying they refuse to give up thier seat they gave them steve bull lower (which at the time was the seats no wolves fans wanted) which is one reason why all south bank hate jez moxey. but you can say that about alot of clubs in the prem nowadays
fcumpassion, Manchester united play us away at our ground oakwell (Barnsley) 4th round of carling cup, so it aint really that big a match for manchester united but a big match for us as we have a reputation of beating liverpool and chelsea but do you reckon they will sell the 6,000 away stand and also will you be attending the game? With half my family from manchester and my uncle a manchester united season ticket holder the videos he shows me, it looks like the best away support i have seen.
@fcumpassion I have a question, if Manchester United FC went into administration and disbanded would you welcome previous Man Utd fans into supporting FCUM
hey salfordredsarmy..i have not missed more than 5 united games in d past 20 years and im sorry but i know every single chant from eric the king up to na na na posse-possebon(formerly nicky butt..u missed my point im giving out bout daytrippers admittedly i go on daytrips coz i live in ireland..but ya cant bracket me wit d bad support in ot,,in august i was at d 1st game and out of the 76000 i reckon i know as many chants and history/results/players past and present than any one in the stadium..

United away support is by far the best in the country. Quite a few that follow FC do the United aways. A few will choose the United aways over FC if it clashed too.
No offence mate but OT's dying atmosphere is attributed to fans like yourself buying out tickets coz the local fans cant match the price United sell em for. You might be the best fan in the world for all I know but travelling fans who come from around the country and the world to watch OT are the main reason for United's crap atmosphere nowadays in my opinion. I also recognise that United have always had great Irish support tho, due to the Irish roots and history of the club!
@salfordsredarmy I thought you had to be a part of some season tickets scheme or be a part of the club or something to get tickets for Man U games? Or am I wrong? if that is so, then how could traveling fans get tickets? just wondering.
met some fcum fans at whitby most were friendly, although a little bit full of themselves, they do sing a lot but didnt realy get behind the team.Nearly had a word with one for calling a young whitby lad a scouse bastard over and over again just cos the kid had a bag on his shoulder with a liverpool crest on it.Most of the fcum away support are 40 plus and alot of them were smoking dope(i saw 7 before and during the game)whats all that about?
Rory Patterson. Famous as ''The Man With No Name'' and ''Mr Mystery'' Hence the question mark, although the Irish tri colour must be a mistake by whoever owns the flag as Rory is Northern Irish.
Obviously I'm thinking a bit far ahead but if FC UNITED Managed to get up another couple of divisions and ended up in the same league as Bury would they still be able to ground share?
I'm a Liverpool fan but support what your doing with FC grate idea, nice one as I support what AFC Liverpool are doing also , can't say I love Mancs but a top idea , I undestand why .and your right.
If you lot ever go all the way to the prem, It would be fucking funny if another yank bought you lot out ? You should support one team and one team only. All this i still care about the big united, is fucking bollocks.
Rory Patterson. Famous as ''The Man With No Name'' and ''Mr Mystery'' Hence the question mark, although the Irish tri colour must be a mistake by whoever owns the flag as Rory is Northern Irish.
He was given these nicknames(also songs)b'cos when he first appeared for FC in 2005, he came on without a number on his shirt and nobody knew him or could match a number to a name in the programme.
He is a legend in our short history having now moved on to Bradford Park Avenue though.
Come across this question a few times. I would support FC b'cos that's who i support financially. But i would still be the fan of United that i am. I'm an Man United fan and an FC United supporter. Would be great for FC if it was at OT as we'd get half of the gate but that would cause a huge debate amongst FC supporters as, by paying in, we would be paying Glazer. Would be great though to sing United and FC songs in the away end at OT, show them all up!!!
Manchester United gets a bye until the third round proper. FCUM hasn't ever made it past the qualifying rounds yet. It's super unlikely. But if they draw each other then of course they will support FCUM.

one thing FCUM have to consider (and im sure you are in one way or another) is once you get to a certain level (i think its the league above which you are now or the one above that) you need to have your own ground so get one built or FCUM will be no more
Are Fcum really that good for non-league football? Clubs have switched grounds for ties (trafford, maine road) reducing accessability for some fans. Other teams increase prices when they visit. These are not Fc's fault granted, but the die hard fans that they are so proud off are blighting the game at a grass roots level. I know people who missed the games against fc, due to not wanting to expose their children to some of the obscene chants. Is this really family football being promoted?
We've put thousands of pounds through many turnstiles and the clubhouse's since 2005, this is good for those clubs as many of them don't make that sort of money in 3 seasons alone.
Obscene chants? that'll just be banter, which is(in not just mine but many other peoples opinions of how football should be)part and parcel of football. Maybe they're better off at Old Trafford where obscene chants arn't allowed.
It is not the content of chants that personally bothers me, i am an adult and quite enjoyed the atmosphere of FC games that i attended. For those with young children(5-6 say) though, it sometimes isn't the best atmosphere for them.

This is grass roots football and i enjoy games from throughout my local area. I have trafford, flixton, maine road and altrincham within easy reach and can be found at one at a weekend . The answer is yes. We've always welcomed them, we're all United supporters.
Many 'try' FC each week, some decide it's not for them, some love it and get hooked and some do both United Home, Away and FC.
I'd like to think each game we have a newbie but we just don't even know it as they've kept it to themselves.
Some even make it known and come on the FC United forum telling us that they've enjoyed it and intend to carry on coming.
With the announcement this morning, we'll only get more!!!

That's right yeh. Although that's the main reason for the formation along with other reasons etc like the match day experience the cost.
A breakaway club was spoken of around the time of when Rupert Murdoch came sniffing but obviously nothing came of it until 2005.
Winning all these trophies might seem like everything's rosey to people but the heart of the club(the die hard supporters)are getting fed up.

We'd need to have our own ground to enter the conference. So if we got promoted again this season, we couldn't go up the next year.
