My previous post was not meant to suggest that M. Kaku is a fanatical scientific purist himself or that he would make a bad leader. I simply don't think that intelligence, even brilliance, is enough, in and of itself to qualify someone to be president. Its a desired quality but not the only one. Personally, I am a firm believer in the separation of church and state....human beings are too flawed to combine them.

Science, from a certain point of view, is a religion. The religion of discovery. As with all religions there are fanatics that lack an acceptable moral center. It is a byproduct of humanity that such individuals exist. I would be just as wary of a fanatical scientific purist, as I would of any other fanatical religious purist when considering him or her as a potential leader. Ultimately, intelligence and wisdom are not, out of necessity, akin. I'd need rigorous proofs of his ability to lead.

I have a proposal for Dr. Michio Kaku to include the Future Value of Money in his physics of the impossible.
What is money - is it a tangible thing of this world (subjected to the laws of physics) or a formal mathematical model of greed that has to be encashed. Let me explain: money has a value, a quantity, mass of something (this is the physical dimension) ... but in FV=PV(1+i)^n money starts having value by value to the power of SECONDS to the power of n. This is physics of another world.

@apostolisxa - a solar sail, from how I understand it... is a bit like a big solar panel, that absorbs light and converts the energy to propel space satellites or spacecraft. It kinda looks like a wind sail cos they have a large surface area, but they work very differently, of course!
