  • I was at work and some of my co workers were talking about how they go to Mexico for certain medical needs/drugs because they are too expensive here.

  • "And socialism doesn't work.."

    I disagree.

    Love, Sweden

  • SOOO BRRAAVE

  • ONE PERSON (PRESIDENT) WON'T START AN REVOLUTION.

THAT IS THE PEOPLE'S DUTY IDIOTS!!!!!!! STOP DEPENDING ON SINGLE PERSONS FOR OUR FATES!!!!!!! WAKE UP!

  • lol i think all the candidates suck... we can basically just pick the better of 2 evils

  • @phucksocialism I'm totally on your side dude, but name calling and the terms you use are going to get us no where.. We have to come together to educate the un-educated when it comes to politics. I'm sure with politeness and good solid facts when replying to people will go further to change someones mind about where they stand politically. Lets try and make people understand what Ron Paul is all about instead of shouting vulgarity. Make this country and world a better place 1 minute at a time.

  • Ron Paul or not at all. Everyone else is status quo. rEVOLution 2012 'nuff said!

  • i think what Obama has actually "changed" is verry good , he does what he says , he has brought more "good" to America .

this Ron Paul is a capitalist ! there are too much peope on the streets allready .

i hope Obama stays for another 4 years.

but yeah im European so im used to peeple who are less fortuned having a decent house and having a decent place to stay and getting universial healthcare .

think about that America it would be good to all of you !

    God bless the people !

  • @omgwifeaggro How is your economy doing? Exactly.

  • Ron Paul vs Michael Moore.............fatty has no chance

  • @xXKayn3Xx

At least the "fatty" knows and understands economics better than this old man. His opinions on economics have been proven to be poorly chosen by history. The great depression: Keynesian economics, not his Hayek-Austraian rubbish. If you don't understand economics, please don't vote. You'll be making a poor decision.

  • Corporatism Michael, not capitalism..... You are fooling the people for your own fame and popularity.

  • vote for him or not, RON PAUL is correct, Health Care is not a "right". He is helping to wake up many people.... If you listen to him carefully, you may wake up too.

  • @rmondave I am wide awake. And Ron Paul is just another rich Republican and Obama may as well be. I will give Paul credit for wanting to get us out of these sham wars but his economic ideas are exactly what got us to the edge of a catasphrophy. You really believe that health care in the richest country on Earth isn't a right??

  • @CrystalsandCandles You're absolutely NOT wide awake. If you WERE wide awake you would realize that WE ARE NOT the richest country on Earth. We are 14 TRILLION dollars in deficit and borrowing money from China to pay our bills. Our country cannot sustain the enormous welfare state that the Democrats have created. We have become a society of dependents which have lost the values of 'Self-Reliance' and 'Responsibility'. People need to start taking care of themselves and stop relying on others

  • i think there should be more clinics and workers . the hospital bills are priced to high they should keep it simple put a cap on hospital bills.

  • Ron Paul is sick! Another rich shill who spouts pro-rich policies.

How would he like to pay 10k a month for education which doesn't get him a job? How would he like when doctors ask him to pay money he doesn't have for treatment he needs? He isn't pro-people, he is pro-rich.

If the government does not help the poor then who does? He won't. So he rather let the rich get richer and let the Christians, Muslims, Jews and Buddhists help the poor? Such irresponsibility.

  • @arugono Um, did someone force you to pay 10k a month for your education? Steve Jobs dropped out and refused - look what he did. You're not owed a job because you paid 10K a month for education. You don't have to pay 10K for an education - go to a community college, work 50 hours a week, get an internship, and work hard and you'll get a job - or start your own company.

You expecting me to do anything for you because you screwed up and paid 10K a month for education is irreponsible.

  • @Mpowell144

Lol.... I only paid 7k a year for a quality education which got me a great job. Of course I come from a Socialist country which pays teachers more than engineers and has a progressive tax system which the rich actually do pay more.

You see... I dun care if Ron Paul drags your so called proud nation to hell. I care when he drags the rest of the world with him.

  • @arugono Go listen to the mainstream media some more, unless you live in the United States you have no right to come on the internet and post about the so called 'information' that the one sided media has fed you. In America the churches, family and friends took care of the sick. If you listened to this video at all you would see that with competition in the medical field and without inflation medical would be AFFORDABLE for all. Go follow the herd with the rest of the sheep.

  • "Capitalism would work if it government would stop interfering." That's exactly what Marx said about communism. It failed because it wasn't pure. Either ideology works great in a theoretical laboratory but not in the real world. There must be a more thoughtful combination of the two. That being said, Ron Paul is spot on when it comes to foreign policy.

  • ron, join us...

  • Corporatism (Fascism) the logical conclusion of a free & unregulated is that someone would rig the game... it is, as Mussolini defined it, the 'merger of state and corporate power.' This is not a far of fantasy that comes once in a blue moon, rather it is the logical conclusion.

How can you say that the problems we are in is due to socialism & then prescribe more capitalism? Can't you see that idea pushes us further on the same path that Ron Paul condemns as corporatism.

    Idiocracy 2012

  • @diceyLee Your caught up in systems that are self contradictory, think in term of human nature and psycology. Gov. intervention is the root cause of monopolies, because the gov. forms regulations to destroy the competitors of a few co. that can survive the regulations and cleanup the market. Let me ask you this, in a more perfect world what do you imagine our "sytem" of gov. and economics being?

  • @steviewonder417 The gov regulates and safety checks products... Multi-national corporations need less breaks given to them & should act as a cash cow for social programs. Banks don't get bailouts from tax payers, but banks are held accountable buy a government built to withstand their $ and influence, a gov that represents the people...

and as John Stewart would say "i'd like someone checking if there is lead in my paint".

  • I like Ron Paul but he is wrong about health care.....

  • @dap0490 yea i know thats the only thing i dont like about him but if obama care gets in the constitution he cant change it if hes president so imma still vote for him lol

  • @dap0490 In what way?

  • only one thing I am disable and I paid for my Social Security it is not welfare I paid for it. Change the name but leave my way to survive alone.

  • I like Ron Paul, but he needs to admit he's wrong about heath care...It's so basic, it should be provided to all....I would be with him all the way, but he thinks the free market will save heath care....people we need to go back to the basics....helping people have homes and health should BE OR ONLY AND FIRST CONCERN.....If not what is the point of even having a government...He is saying we should leave it up to the church...that's cool with me..So why do we need a government?

  • @morsea30 That is exactly what he is saying. Before the country had Medicare and Medicaid when someone was ill or needed medical attention the persons neighbors, friends, families and the church would help them. There are many christian hospitals that would take them.

  • While I don't entirely agree with Ron Paul, he makes good points, very good points. We need to have a debate on the role of government. Is it as narrow as Ron Paul suggests? I don't think so. But is it as broad as what we now have? I would say 'no' again. But where do you draw the line? Let's discuss that. Cutting back the military is a one start. Getting money out of politics is the real first start.

  • @glennmpape

His good points are made irrelevant by his poor understanding of economics on a macro scale. He will be a VERY poor choice.

  • I just want to kick larry king in the face.

  • Larry king said, "social security is a form of socialism". Yes, and it didn't work either! The government fat cats raided it dry!!!

  • Americans wake up, vote for Ron Paul for Pres. 2012! The clock is ticking ..... wrong decision can cause the down fall of America.

  • @Frettchen612 only if he gets the GOP nomination.

  • The TIme is NOW~

Americans - if Obama gets another term - you can KISS your lifestyles and Superpower status goodbye!

Ron Paul Has the goods, he is the change that Obama WAS NOT

Ron Paul is a true American Hero, and he reminds me of my own grandpa

Both are patriots in the true sense of the word - and are willing to sacrifice for the country.

Ron Paul has paid his dues - in fact he is LONG OVERDUE

He has the answers that Obama doesnt - Ron Paul 2012!

    AUSTRALIA LOVES YOU SIR

  • @TheJayEffkay american Superpower status days are number with obama or R.Paul.

  • @TheJayEffkay GO AHEAD! THROW YOUR VOTE AWAY!

  • @TheJayEffkay

No, his economic policies are terrible. Why do you not understand that?

  • @TheJayEffkay australia? lol... mind ur own business bro'

  • Comment removed

  • @TheJayEffkay

When you say superpower what do you mean? That you can blow the world up 3 times over?

  • "The always thoughtful Ron Paul"

Of all the things Larry King could have said at the close of the interview, he came up with that crap. What he should have said was ... "The next President of The United States, Ron Paul"

    RON PAUL 2012

  • @ppashi this venus project will no doubt have its own problems if it ever had a chance to exsist but i think it could work really well.

  • @ppashi I was only arguing my own point and was not even acknowledging urs, look up the venus project, scarcity is artificial mostly nowadays and therefore price is no longer needed.

  • @ppashi "Price" is a function of capitalism. Price exsists because we allocate one to a product or service, that price system is a big part of capitalism. That is why you will never have "free" health care under capitalism. Now under a diff system it will still cost resourses to produce those services, but if we get rid of money those services can be provided free of charge. I know sounds strange, so look up "the venus project" it will explain it better than me here. Money is an illusion value.

  • Heath is one thing that should be free, however that will never occur in a capitalist system. Capitalism is something that either needs to change or be replaced.

  • I used to be a democrat. But LBJ was a warmongering asshole. Really was no better and in some ways worse than Nixon. Micheal moore is interesting and may have good intentions but in the end is wrong on some critical issues. Moore complains about the corporations, but he has never gone so far as to really, truly tell the truth about this fascist government and corporate oligarchy we have.

  • Ok he's wrong about the free market. Without government the only motivator in free market is profit margin. Without government there wouldn't be vehicle recalls, for example. There wouldn't even be seatbelts!

  • @bvolsky No, you're wrong. There would be vehicle recalls and there would be seat belts. The companies would have to compete for your business therefore safety and customer service would be a HUGE part of what they do. If millions of people complain about something they are going to fix it or else you would go to another automaker. An automaker that failed to produce a quality and safe product would not attract sales therefore going out of business.

  • @mg86ta1 Nope. No seatbelts. Companies would ignore it. For example: People want huge gas mileage. Cars like the toyota echo get 37 mpg (at least mine does), better than some hybrids. They stopped making it almost ten years ago. You'd think they'd be back on that, with people demanding it. Nope. No more high mpg cars. Geo metro got like 40mpg.. If you want to get a company to do something, legislate it. Otherwise they just mess around. Invisible hand is weak and vague and..invisible.

  • @bvolsky Are you kidding me? People want huge gas mileage yes, AMERICANS don't. Do you notice how we are the only nation who has a huge market of v8 gas guzzling SUV's and trucks? The Toyota Echo and Geo Metro were discontinued because they are 2 of the ugliest basic cars ever created. I take it you are a Democrat based on your reluctance of a free economy and the need for constant government regulation. Plain and simple if an automaker doesn't want to put seatbelts in their cars

  • @bvolsky and you don't feel safe enough without them.. You wouldn't purchase the car. The people of the U.S. have become so irresponsible for their own actions and decisions because the Liberal government has created this dependency. It's time people started taking responsibility for themselves and stop depending on others to ensure their safety. There's a thing called common sense and if we want to be a prosperous nation again then idiot Americans are going to have to start getting some.!

  • @mg86ta1 I was with you until you used the words "common sense." Because that's what every nuanced and complex issue needs. Not doctors, professionals, psychologists, lawmakers, social workers, economists, scientists, researchers, or anyone with any more than superficial secondhand knowledge of an issue.

Common sense! THANK YOU. I'm gonna write my congressperson! On facebook!

  • @bvolsky Experts mean nothing as long as they are giving advice based on their own personal agenda and personal gains. Government officials go to the experts who they know will give them the answer they want to hear so they can get some credibility for their mistakes. Psychologists create mental diseases so they get paid to diagnose them. Economists try to predict on blind knowledge to gain credibility. Everyone in Washington is there for a paycheck, its time to cut them off.

  • @mg86ta1

And yet, any economist could predict, frankly, that Ron Paul will fail in terms of economic policy if elected. Ron Paul will destroy the United States with his outdated economic opinions.

  • @igotscamed1 Outdated? If you could explain to me how basic economics have changed I would love to be educated. Ron Paul's economic policies are based on no government intervention and if by saying that the free market is dependent on government intervention you are seriously wrong my friend. If by saying going to a gold standard to where the government is regulated money wise based on how much assets it has is bad.. you are also wrong my friend. Big government+spending will and is destroying.

  • @mg86ta1

Sorry but a lack of regulation in the financial market was the direct and largest cause of the Global Financial Crisis. Seems like you'd want more regulation there, to stop firms from giving out ridiculous loans that are risky for the whole world. Study up on the GFC buddy. His theories are outdated because they originate from the 1800s, and have not been used since the very early 1900s. His theories never took the world out of the great depression; the theories that he opposed did.

  • @igotscamed1 Actually, regulation in the financial market is what caused the collapse of Freddy and Fannie. The government forced banks to take bogus loans that were supposed to be 'backed' by the federal government and when it all went to hell everyone started pointing fingers. Do I support the financial market, no not at all. I believe corruption runs from business to government and from public sector to private. I believe eliminating the corruption is a start, if not no policies will work.

  • @mg86ta1

That's not financial regulation, that's corrupt and poorly managed financial regulation. In Australia nothing has ever happened like that, and we have more financial regulation. it has to be managed properly.

  • @igotscamed1 Poorly managed or not, if the government would not have told the banks to take the bad loans, we would not have been in this situation. If banks would just operate on their own there would be more risks, therefore would not accept handing out money like its candy. Government interference has no benefits whatsoever in business, it's a proven fact. If you make irresponsible decisions the taxpayers will bail you out, that's big business motto.

  • @mg86ta1 LOL??? Are you kidding me? The collapse of Freddy and Frannie can be linked DIRECTLY to deregulation. What kind of drugs are you smoking?

  • @doksekko No, are YOU kidding me? Freddy and Fannie are products of the regulation.

  • @mg86ta1 No. I'm not kidding you. I'm also not an uneducated dipshit spewing ignorant bullshit, like you.

  • @doksekko Uneducated bullshit? What you spew is directly the same bullshit that everyone is fed into. Maybe you should do a little more research since you are so 'educated' on the whole aspect of the housing collapse and you will realize that it was the governments OVERREGULATION telling them what they had to do that caused it. Moron.

  • I wish people would smarten Up kick that Bumbling Idiot in office now and put Ron Paul in.

  • Ron Paul is right on the money.

  • @phucksocialism - and how are you going to do that without the socialized military, the socialized roads, the socialized air traffic, the socialized development of the internet? By the way, Einstein, did you not notice *who is fighting those wars*? Yeah. Your "American Constitutional Republic."

You have no idea what the words your spouting even mean. Why are you talking at all? WOOO RAH RAH WAVE THE FLAG USA USA! What a load of self-important crap.

  • If this guy was any more full of crap he'd have to be quarantined to protect public health. What an idiot.

Hey, Ron, why don't you and your idiot acolytes take a look at Finland and explain to me why their systems aren't collapsing.

  • @lowgenius add sweden and norway too!!!!!

  • @phucksocialism

You can't have it both ways. With all the wars America has been involved in in the last 100 years, you can't say "democracy = war" and at the same time pretend you still live in a 'free constitutional republic'. Stop swallowing Uncle Sam's propaganda. Your cherished republic has long been taken from you, and all of your wars are lies. You want to go back to your ideals? Vote for Ron Paul, or not at all.

  • @phucksocialism

P.S. Those wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were STARTED by America. And yes, your *democracy* caused the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It's funny how you don't even see that the thing you hate is what you already live in, and is responsible for the war-examples you mention. The last century has proven not only that your "free Constitution Republic" does not live forever, but that it is long DEAD.

  • @phucksocialism

Which American constitutional republic? Wake up! You HAVE a democracy. You may not like this fact, but the "constitutional republic" you are talking about hasn't existed since at least the days of Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, maybe even further back to Abraham Lincoln who suspended habeus corpus. Your constitution has long been treated like nothing but an ancient relic to be ignored.

  • Awesome! A debate between Ron Paul and Michael Moore! Without Michael Moore!

  • TIME TO WAKE UP !!!! PLEASE COPY & PASTE IN YOUTUBE:

Alan Grayson (HD): "Which Foreigners Got the Fed's $500,000,000,000?" Bernanke: "I Don't Know."

SEN. SANDERS GOES OFF ON BERNANKE_ 03/03/09.

Man behind Barack Obama Part One.

The Obama Deception HQ Full length version

  • Ron Paul made a very important point.... Today's system is Corporatism; it is not capitalism.

  • DR. RON PAUL IS MY PANCHO VILLA,A HERO OF ETHICS VOTE 201 RON PAUL !

  • @phucksocialism Iraq / Afghanistan / Libya are no direct democracies. Libya is a peoples Republic and Iraq and Afghanistan are forced American puppet governments. The only true democracy, that exists on this planet is Switzerland. We are very free and rich here. No patriot act and intrusion of our privacy. You are the slaves of you government, our government is our slave! Haha. We can do what we want and say what we want and EVERYBODY has a government provided gun!

  • @TheCentralServices

According to the freedom index, when all freedoms are taken into consideration and weighed equally heavy, Switzerland and Hong Kong are the freest places on Earth. The US is number 6/7/8, tied with Holland and New Zealand. I live in Holland and the "freedom" here is nothing to write home about, so that says something about the US currently. It should be said that if America stuck to their constitution (which they don't) they would be head/shoulders over all other places.

  • @phucksocialism We are in Switzerland at the moment enjoying a true democracy and cocktails.

  • long lIve revolution ....down with imperialism vote for ron paul 2012,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • @phucksocialism We killed JFK. Don't blame the FED for the misery that you have brought upon yourselves by supporting the spending of 4000 billion dollars to find an old man and overusing your credit cards. You are no children. You live in a democracy and you had a chance to vote on all of this.

  • I love Michael Moore and Ron Paul!

  • Free market free market free market blah blah blah. Who said anything about making America's system like Britain? just go the way of France, private suppliers. Maybe have some incentives thrown in there and whammo.

  • Ron Paul wants to bring down the fed!!! This man MUST be elected. Even if he accomplishes 10% of what he intends to this nation will be so much better off. Do your research, he is NOT a neocon. He is NOT racist. He is NOT homophobic. He does NOT support the war on drugs. He truly believes in small government and was a medical doctor most of his life. No ordinary politician here.

  • I'm sooooo happy Larry King retired. Ron Paul = SANITY

  • You must sacrifice your Liberty for your Freedom!

  • Comment removed

  • "You have a touch of pregnancy" Lol, that's hilarious.

  • Ron Paul 1 Michael Moore 0

  • @leonidas44498 but, Ron Paul & Michael Moore were Last few hopes left for the World.

  • larry is surprisingly stupid

  • In the first minute of this interview, we have received more sensible and forthright talk from a politician, than you have ever heard coming from any other credible politician period, in this modern landscape.

  • Quoting a terrible president like LBJ is unbelievable.

The word is not "capitalism". It's "freedom". The word, "capitalism" came from Marx's Dos Capital.

  • What a tool. Ron Paul and his free market fantasies. For a market to be 'free' and efficient every participant needs to have perfect information, otherwise, it is neither free or efficient.

  • @twistycat You have it exactly backwards - the whole point of capitalism is to manage risk. The greater the risk, the greater the reward. Don't need perfect knowledge.

When we punish risk through regulation and taxes we reduce the incentive to risk. Only Big Business can surmount such regulation, which explains the growth of monopoly capitalism.

In contrast the illicit drug trade shows how free markets CAN WORK. Imagine if we had freedom elsewhere, how well we would live.

  • @gene15644b So..that's why all of those unregulated credit default swaps worked out so well for everyone? Its possible to have an equilibrium in a competitive game that isn't a pareto efficiency. Credit markets have become all about secrecy instead of transparency and it has nothing to do with regulations, just the ability of counterparties to make sound financial decisions.

  • @twistycat "Credit Markets", like just about any other market, have a degree of uncertainty and risk. I suspect that in the future Derivatives and Futures would have been looked at with skepticism and higher rates for investors, had the Neo-Cons and Progressives not banded together to "bail out" the losers.

Credit and debt markets always were about "secrecy". To imagine otherwise is to indulge in some self deception. Caveat emptor.

  • @twistycat if it werent for federal insurance and cheap money credit default swaps would not had been an issue. period. government caused the problem. then bailed out the ones that took advantage.

  • @michaeljon954 Exactly. They took advantage of the system by capturing regulatory agencies and getting them to relax the rules, or to decline to create new ruegulations around new types of derivatives. Yet, Mr. Paul argues for even less rules. In Paul's worldview, the only law would be force.

  • @twistycat He mentions market outsourcing of patients to India. What he doesn't mention is how American patients consistently rate the quality care (to the point of seeking services from) of countries with so-called "socialist" medicine they go to. He is right to condemn corporatism (and how Moore falsely links that to all capitalism, as Marxists tend to do) but his own espousal of free-market fundamentalism is equally black & white and ideologically driven interpretation of the facts.

  • if the market wasn't so free, how can you explain the record level of profits and the increasing gap between the rich and the middle class?

  • @iamjsmith83 Why do you assume a market economy cause record level of profits and increased inequality.

  • @iamjsmith83 Corporatism, or have you even watched the video. Politicians have their hand in the pockets of mega corporations and vice versa. Business should not effect law and law should not effect business, to an extent, if the business infringes on someones freedom or liberties, than the law is unlawful.

  • @TheAmazingJimmy

Don't you right wing libertarians understand.

That's how it works. Corporations and Capitalists look out for their own interests because they have the capital and financial power.

They don't give a shit about Ron Paul and his market fundamentalist BS.

They'll use whatever means neccesary to survive. Markets aren't magical nor self correcting but are simply a product of our social relations.

  • This is the American dream fallacy. It is not about the charity of government. It is about a general system that forbids people living in boxes, uncared for - which is predominant in the USA - and abandoned in ANY way. Even prisoners should be given environments that are decent, not gladiator academies. All essentials should be provided all people. Those who do not work when they can will be on the lowest rung but not left starving and dying on the streets like in all US cities.

  • I think generally Ron Paul says a lot of true things. I sympathize with him even. But on this issue he is factually wrong.

    See Scandinavian countries.

  • @Einsofable What about Scan, Norway is fueling it social system with oil revenues and high taxes, Sweden is on the way of deregulation of the changes made in the 70's. In Finland it helped a nationsocialistic party to enter parlarment. What can we miss? Redistibution of wealth thru the government doesn't work on nation nor international level and the fallout of these policies devastating.

  • @Sideshowbobx You miss the point. The Scandinavian countries have the highest standards of education, social safety, health care etc - all for free. Crime is non-existent compared to what you have State side. Our system just works better.

  • you can go way back.and every time america is at war it's economy goes to shit.you have to say no to war.you do not need these con men controlling your economy.

when you gonna realise that these people i.e the banks want you to be at war all the time.because you have to borrow money from them to fight in a war.then you have to pay them back with interest.

  • i think what he's saying is if he wins.he will get ride of the illegal tax on labour so you will have your own money to save for yourself.you will be taxed a lot less if he gets rid of the departments that are costing you so much of your income.federal banks out first.decrease government jobs.massive saving for the tax payer.then cut down spending on war.defence shouldn't cost billions of dollar's.it only costs billions when you invade and occupy.

  • Ron Paul all the way.

  • RP is so much more qualified in this debate than fucking stupid ass michael moore.

  • maybe its semantics...wow thats a fail

  • I would give anything for Michael Moore to go head to head with Ron Paul and to see Moore get verbally abused and crushed. I watched Moore's 'Capitalism' documentary and that fat retard made more of a case FOR capitalism than against it... I laughed so hard I was in tears.

    non est deus

  • Get this guy for president quick, before your country dies in a big explosion and takes us all down with you. Stupid gringos!

  • So uninsured health care should come from an emergency room. The modern doctor sneers at the Hippocratic Oath he takes.

  • Mr. Ron Paul speaks quite the truth. But do we listen?

    Capitalism is a discipline.

Favoring corporations is not within capitalism.

LBJ -yet another thing about which LBJ was wrong.

    Ron Paul speaks clear economics.

  • They want to privatize the profits and then make tax payers pay when there's an 'unavoidable' calamity. HE IS JUST ANOTHER CORPORATIST.

  • "mans imperfect" the best excuse for everything these religion fakirs use to have it both ways.

This guy wants full captialism.. with the hybrid capitalism we have now the top 1% own more than half the wealth of the country. When they talk 'hard' choices, they mean you can go ahead and die. I've got my healthcare you don't need any. Where's the family and christian values there? THERE ISN'T ANY!

  • ron paul is lying stack of shit. great politics argument... i hope ppl can see threw him

  • @hansson2000 "ron paul is lying stack of shit. great politics argument... i hope ppl can see threw him"

I knew who Ron Paul was in 2000, before he was on the national scene. He really is an honest politician. If you spend some time looking through his voting record, you'll see that he does what he says.

I would never vote for him for state or local government, because I disagree with some of his beliefs, but from the point of view of FEDERAL government, he's 100% correct.

  • @fuzzywzhe 100%

pls remove american federal goverment. I bet you havent reed any more history then american historiy science (u havent read history in conflict?) .what would happend if you did what paul want? .. and another thing You hear him saying "belive in freedom" he doesnt saids one word on democracy. he only have one dogmatism answer and thats free market.

  • @hansson2000 Based on how you write, I don't think you've ever read a book.

  • @fuzzywzhe not so much english litteratur, but that will only leap to a logic queastion; so? if you want to know how much i read american history well i lived in usa and went too american public schools.

  • @hansson2000 what are you even talking about. This makes no sense.

  • A man falls down in the st. with a heart attack who is broke and we, as a society has no responsibility to help him -Paul says we don't have a history of that happening?? He's out of touch - YES it has happened! He makes "socialism" sound like a dirty word-tell you what, a society that helps 1 another is the strongest nation on earth. I like R. Paul & have agreed w/some of his stuff. He's actually agreeing w/Moore on capitalism. He also agrees on Moore about Afganistan. So much for the "vs"

  • @Powitree1 "A man falls down in the st. with a heart attack who is broke and we, as a society has no responsibility to help him -Paul says we don't have a history of that happening?? He's out of touch - YES it has happened!"

    Really?

    Name who this happened to.

  • @fuzzywzhe - It is a metaphor for all those who have fallen and been passed over by the system, but specifically, there was the news story a couple years ago of someone who'd turned up at a for profit hospital with chest pains - the hospital staff person called a cab and had this person taken several blocks away and dropped off on a street corner. (Presumably because the person was unable to pay for care). That person subsequently died without proper medical care. Patient's name: Unknown.

  • @Powitree1 "It is a metaphor for all those who have fallen and been passed over by the system"

Everybody lives in a system. Get over it.

We have a HIGHLY corrupt government. It has lied you into a war, it has stolen all the social security surplus (2 trillion dollars) and it's given money to CRIMINALS in our financial sector.

You want to trust THAT MONSTROSITY with health care? How fucking dumb are you?

You want health care? Implement it in your state, not the federal level.

  • @fuzzywzhe - fuzzyyesUr - my comments did not refer to the government ~ my comments did speak of society being of help to one another -that certainly could refer to implementation by the states. Not once in my comments did I say Healthcare should fall to the Federal Gvrnmt. You do not know me - you do not know enough about me or my views to pass judgement on my intelligence-low blows will get you nowhere. Take your anger to the voting booth, Sir, not to your fellow American.

  • Since when did Micheal Moore become an authority on anything other than bacon-cheeseburgers?

Why don't we ask his advice on picking up girls?

    -or how to dress cool.

Then again, he could give slob lessons, or kiss-up lessons.

  • Ron Paul for 2012, let's give liberty a shot and see what happens when the people have the say, not the government.

  • It's amazing that we're even debating whether the political system favored by Michael Moore and Barack Obama is Socialism; anyone who knows economics and the lessons of history recognizes what they are trying to foist upon us. After socialistic government has starved and oppressed so many people in so many marxist countries, now they want to try it here.

  • @Linguiphile socialist? Seriously? Public healthcare is a good thing

  • Pritty much anounced it today on the alex jones show

Question is will he stay rep or go indi? He says he's still thinking about that one

  • spread the word

  • has my vote. period.

  • We need to get a persuasive letter together to send to Dr Paul. He has to run in 2012. He just has to...

  • Can this guy run already so we can start campaign, I guess we just have to start before he dose so lets all do our part to get Ron Paul elected in 2012! RON PAUL 2012

  • Ron Paul and Michael Moore should join forces in 2012. They have alot in common.

And to Ron Paul, he might take a look at Police, Firefighters, Army, Coast Guard and other services payed for by the government.

  • Ron Paul is kind hearted and all, but he's become fully indoctrinated into the dogma of principles, throwing a complete blind eye to any consequences these principles may inflict on the population, and his belief in these principles is based entirely on assertion, not observational conclusions.

  • @VolcanicPenguin major change to a correct fourn and monetary policy may hurt in the short term but its far better then the alternative of staying on-board current policy as it sinks to the bottom of the ocean that is loss of sovereignty death of the dolor and eventual slavery

  • @shawnjohn0369

Well I wouldn't disagree with you there. Except I'd say we already have slavery. ;)

  • @VolcanicPenguin principals is the foundation of all societies. The principals he is talking about is what spawned the most freedom and prospierty this coutnry has ever seen.

he has spoken about how if we were to go back to a limited govt, it would be by baby steps, not just all at once.

  • @Galicia1981

I generally disagree, although principles do make out a part of our society I see more important factors like technological capabilities.

  • @VolcanicPenguin that actually is a great example of todays problems. Look at where the technology is being used today. All our energy goes towards creating weapons of mass destruction instead of infrastructure and health

Principals is the foundation of all action. It is the basic understanding that develops into bigger understandings.

  • @Galicia1981

I find that empathy works out a lot better than principles.

  • thumbs up if u thought Micheal Moore the controversial film maker was in this interview when u clicked.

  • He really would make an excellent leader. I usually don't agree with the republican philosophy, I can't find anything wrong with what Ron Paul states.

  • I am an American with dark skin and I will be voting for Ron Paul 2012...Viva La Resistance

  • @chickensox1 hell yeah brother. we need a libertarian im tired of neocons and liberals

  • You know black people hate Ron Paul because he is about freedom from government , government programs and other reasons...but I'm black and I'm voting for this guy...Obama stop spending!!!!!!!!!

  • @testbooster actual black people like him because he will pardon everyone who is in jail for non violent marijuana possession.... lol

  • Ron Paul Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee Next President...

  • The only point that ron paul made that I disagree with is that he doesn't believe we should be a mixed ecnonomy, aka Capitalism & socialism mixed. Before socialist organizations like our fire services.

People had to have a mark on their home for fire fighters to help the people. Pretty much firefighters worked like mercenaries before they became a social service. If you didn't have the mark, they would ignore the home, let everyone in it burn to death.

  • He is good but vote for David Duke!

  • I was ecstatic when Obama won 2008, but after hearing Paul on drug laws etc i would vote for him over Obama. Where are the next generation of Libertarians in US politics? Its all tea party conservatives, who are really just the same old conservatives! Ron Paul is alone in Washington.
