As of now, The Amory Wars Part One cover half of their first album(Second Stage Turbine Blade) and there is a good apollo graphic novel that covers the whole album. The Bag.On.Line Adventures is 2 issues that preced the Amory Wars but tell the same story.

claudio's aunt died and she was a kind of mentor for the band when they had previous problems and since almost everyone had side projects the loss of her was almost like the final straw. well that's my interpretation of the whole thing. there are plenty of interviews with them on the subject though.

Nik mentions the whole "emo" thing, about how "Guy's write, for want of a better term, love songs". If you pay attention to the lyrics in MOST of their songs... Many are filled with what seems to be more rage and anger. The album Good Apollo is a very good demonstration of that. Also, a sizeable amount of tracks on IKSOSE3 are also more angry songs. Telling of the characters despair and troubles on his way to avenge the death's of his parents and family.
