Im in the army, and there aren't a lot of patriotic songs on the radio these days that turn my head, because they are all the same, but this one still grabs my attention every time i hear it, because like the marine in the begining said, this is one of the very few songs out there that is truly about the warrior, not the war. Please don't make this about anything it's not. This song is so incredibly moving. I haven't cried over a song as much since Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning debuted after 9/11. We must remember that it matters not how our soldiers ended up in this war, but that they ARE in it & we MUST support them!

And thank you. My husband is former 82nd Airborne Ranger from the Vietnam era. Having lived through those years when he was spat upon for his service for our country, we have remembered and learned the lessons that we MUST stand behind our troops, regardless of the "why" of it all.
