i imagine a sufjan stevens concert is more like a "stand in awe" concert and not a "mosh pit" kinda thing

@kidneystoner88 exactly right, only in my case since it was at Massey Hall, it was actually a "sit in awe" concert.

just saw him in denver and loved it all! he told us who the art in the video was inspired by, but does anybody know the name of the video artist(s) who put that stuff together? it was phenomenal.

Saw him in Austin. Amazing! I think I prefer the show to the album. I would love to get a "live" Age of Adz.

What kind of a camera were you using and do you always get nice clear audio like this at concerts? I'm seeing Sufjan in Virginia on November 9th and am extremely excited.

@NozoliApples I just use a little cannon powershot. I have no idea why, but it's always done really well with audio for some reason. Enjoy Sufjan, he's fantastic!

@amandadawnpalmer3 What model is it? My girlfriend had an older Powershot, maybe the 7MP one and it took incredible audio but it was stolen at Bonnaroo this year. She bought a new Powershot, 12MP, and the audio it takes is garbage. Just curious because I'm trying to find a good digital that'll take nice audio for me at concerts. Thanks for the reply. And yes Sufjan will be great.

@NozoliApples Yeah apparently these things are really touch and go in terms of audio, my boyfriend has a model extremely similar to mine and it can't take audio at all. The specific model is PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph and it's 7.1 MP. Too bad about your girlfriend's camera! I would ask around about audio on the newer models I guess!
