When you fly in France, do you use english on the radio or do you have to speak in french? Because I'm interested in flying there later in the summer but I'm a bit scared of using french on the radio.
well in fact i used english and most of the time all the airport speak english but some airport but not a lot speak only french but it's written on the chart of the airport if only french is admit
sometimes it's boring that there speak french because you don't understand what they say between them ; otherwise go asap flying in france it's so beautifull and if you have the opportunity go to corsica it's the most beautifull place where i flew
Wow, thanks for the advice! I'll put a crew together and try the Corsica trip then :) But, being Greek, my dream is actually to one day fly to Greece! That would be sooooo amazing!
it's funny that you say that because of seeing a lof a time the english television especially bbc i saw the highlands and iwoud like the fly over there it's seem to be beautifull
I can give you numbers/websites for flying clubs, advice and you can borrow my maps. You can rent various aircraft but I think the best is the Diamond. It would probably come at £125/h, all included. There are other places and other aircraft too. But you must be prepared to see some less-than-perfect weather, I've been disappointed this summer, it's very cloudy and very often there are lots of CB clouds around.

Hey! Hello :) I finally flew to France! Not too far, just to Saint Omer for the Jodel fly-in at the local aero club, but it was a fantastic experience! Plus, we flew from Scotland, so it's actually a long way, about 400nm each way. Check out my video from the return trip!
Also, I uploaded a new version of my first ever flight with friends, this time in black and white and with music and it's much better. Enjoy and let me know if coming to Scotland for flying!

for the moment i'm doing my ifr training in the da42 whish is great and meaby if my instructeur agree and if the weather is good i'll come the scotland but i'll see
