The international red cross had access to the camps the entire time, and their records showed less than 300k total died in the camps- jews and non jews. 60 million people died in WW2, and countless other tens of millions died once the communists took over various countries, and about 5 million German POWs were turned into slaves after the war was over, and about a million intentionally starved to death, with countless others evicted from their homes etc.
