@richymoore as in Propellarheads Record? are you serious? Propellarheads are great at what they do but im not sure they could surpass pro-tools. Have you ever tried using the full Protools HD set up, with the independant cards for your computer so that the cards, not your cpu, do the work? I mean even LE is miles ahead of its competitors.
These are the best Video's I have been engineering for 15 years I can't praise these DVD's enough, really brought my game up. I also have the Charles Dye dvd and that was a great way use efx but MPPT is the best Mix, Edit, Mastering, & soon Recording DVD's. Anything they put out, I'm a life long customer.
You've clearly never seen these videos. Dye's got some good stuff, I have his MILAR DVD, but it doesn't even compare. (Plus he's always acting like a dang magician). These are cheaper, lots more in depth, and following along with the sessions made it all come together for me.
Great Stuff.. Fire your video editor ,lose the white annoying flash/transitions and just cut to the D.A.W. every time you want to trasition and you will come off "pro".
LOL! Yeah I was thinking that too. Less Pokeman graphics and more content. Of course in the end this is just a commercial. If the purchased product is the same, that would be a distraction for some. I have heard MILAR has some of the same gimmicky video BS that folks complain about. When will these folks learn that their demographic is not an 18 year old with ADHD?
Or you could just use Record, there are no secrets and it blows pro tools out the water
