my son Aaron was diagnosed in august with hydrocephalus, and its heartbreaking to watch our little ones go through this, hope ur little lady is doing well hang in there xxxxxxx
i Know what this is like, i was born with a condition called hydrocephalus agenesis of the corpus collosum.. i had a shunt implant insearted in my right side of my head... i wasnt expecting to live past 2. i beat the odds. i am now 18 turning 19 even though i was born with this condition. i thank god everyday that im still alive
My daughter was a micropreemie and developed a grade 4 bleed with resulted in hydrocephalus. She is now 13 mos old and has already had 5 revisions due to malfunction/infection. There is not a moment I do not worry. You have a beautiful little one and I hope all is well.

Just to introduce myself, im jade. I was born with an arachnoid cyst, which is very similar to hydrocephalus, if not the same. I have a build up of CSF in a cyst on the outside of my brain pushing in, instead of inside the brain pushing out. I had my first shunt at 16 months old, then again at 4 years. Im now 18, in the past 20 months ive had a furhter 15 shunt related surgeries. Would love to know how violet is getting on :)
