hey kenneth, ive never played with a gear cube extreme, but after watching this, i dont understand how the tony fisher inspired stickers make a difference? i understand the concept of how you would need to also match up the inner edges with the added stickers, but isnt the gear always connected to those edges? i wouldnt have thought you could seperate the gear with its matching inner sticker. but anyway, amazing video :)

@SkateTeamGKS For me it's a lot of trial an error. If I know I need an algorithm to move some edges, I'll first write down exactly where the edges are on the cube. Then I'll try a made up algorithm. Next I check to see what that algorithm did to the edges. If the algorithm moved the edges I'll write down where it moved the edges and then I write down the algorithm.

The trick is to figure out what a sequence of moves actually does to the puzzle.
