Thank you to everyone who posts their bits from Stripped. Saw Eddie in LA on his second-to-last night of this massive tour, friends took me for my birthday, he was fresh as a daisy and funnier than ever, and more heartfelt than ever, too -- ended the show with comments about hope for Obama, this was before the election, remember, and he rarely goes political -- he cares about America very much and he's brilliant as the sun. Yeah, I think the handheld mic makes a difference. And the fact that the laughing in the video tends to drown him out a bit.

I dont think its because he is not in womens clothes that his act seems different. 90 percent of his act is the movement of his body. I think his gestures are limited by the fact that he is using a handheld mic.  I think using the wireless lav mic would free him up again.. Wonder why he changed.

i know what you mean about the mic but part of his routine utilised the handheld mic so.. maybe that's why. STRIPPED is great! Saw him 2 nights ago. Great stuff!
