Very good instruction. You mentioned the use of swivel joints in modern 3 section staff. I would recommend to stay away from them. I have had a few fail in the joint and come apart. Lucky no one way injured. Someone asked about the length of the sections. The total staff length should be the length from your wrist to the floor if you were standing with your arm raised above your head. the sections are that length devided evenly between the 3 sections.
