Thank you so much for posting all these clips of this extremely special musician. This guy doesnt get anywhere close to the recognition he deserves I feel. One of those musicians that will be talked about way way in the future. He's one of the most amazing guitarists to ever play the instrument, and to ever bring his expression and vision to jazz in my book.

This tune is 'Big Foot', a blues by great Alto Saxophone player and bebop pioneer Charlie Parker.
This is really innovative stuff that Monder is doing here, my ears can hardly keep up with it!

I like this guy. He seems to have that rare ability to sound progressive/ modern and well-grounded in his "straight-ahead" roots at the same times.
