To show the cars acceleration. If it was pointing forward all you'd see is him passing cars, you wouldn't see the dust trail he left for the cars behind him.
What he means is, since the bike never had a reverse gear, the way you would do reverse in the car would be to simply reverse the whole output from the transmission. So, you would basically have a switch like "forward or backward". All 6 gears would be available to you either forward or backward.
i really wish people would add "gp circuit" to the nurburgring tag ,especially when the length of time of the video is around a very fast lap of the "proper circuit" not the go kart track featured here . car is fast but would have been more driveable (especially around proper 13 mile circuit !)with a supercharger rather than a turbo .

Your mad! There is such a thing as too much power. That size engine and power in a car that small... see AC Superblower lol Great in a straight line but suicidal on the corners!
in this case more power wouldn't make the dax faster, putting a v8 in it throws the whole balance of the car. this isn't drag racing, this car has the same power to weight ratio as a F1 car, whats better than a f1 car on the track
