The Greatest. I imagine I'm floating through space with this miraculous Elis. She is so "not predictable". Original. Love the way the percussion near the end takes us somewhere else unexpectedly, as she does in every single tape I've heard. WOW! I am "stuck on Elis" for life. Just sad that Politics in Brazil kept us here in the States from experiencing her "live". No words to describe this....whew

Little Pepper ( a nic name for Elis), is no longer with us, for those of you who don't know, she died in 1982. Her 1974 Album, a collaboration with Antonio Carlos Jobim,

Elis and Tom, is considered one of the best bossa nova albums of all time. Please read about her on Wikipedia. She was much more than just a beautiful voice and pretty face. She is missed by millions of Brazilians, she was a true believer in liberty and did her best to help her countrymen.
