i'm a phils fan and a huge hanson fan. i grew up like 15 minutes from glenside. i wasn't at this show (i was drinkin' and celebrating in the northeast...FRANKFORD AND COTTMAN BABY! wish i could have been at city hall though) i think it's pretty awesome that hanson was here when we won. on their way out they were probably like, goddamn what did we just walk into? what kind of epidemic just hit this place over the head?
Haha, oh I know. You could totally tell while they were onstage that they were completely freaked out by the display of insanity by Philly fans. But hey, that's what happens when you play in Philly the night the Phillies may potentially win the World Series. It comes with the territory. And they were good sports about it. Like I said, they changed their set list for us. And honestly, for the rest of their lives they'll be able to say they were in Philly when the Phillies won! :)
It was, I agree. But I look at it this way: They were in Philly when the Phillies won the World Series for the first time in 80 years. That's pretty special. I'm sure they won't forget us any time soon. And playing upbeat songs had to be fun for them, especially since the crowd (the ones that stayed, anyway) were so pumped up.
You're welcome! It was meant to be. I just wanted to record "Go" and it just so happened to be the same moment we found out the Phillies won the World Series. It was fate! :)
I was at this concert! For my first hanson concert, it was the most epic night of my life. It was just so crazy, I wanna go back so bad haha!

Sounds like a fun night. It's pretty amazing that the Phillies winning it all had such a big impact on the Philly area.

Haha. It's cool. I think it was just the energy everyone was eliciting that had people, even if they weren't Phillies fans, excited with them.
