@BigDog91527 Athel Loren is a live entity, when the wood elves take something (cut wood, hunt animals...) they must offer something to the forest as payment. They live in a symbiosis, that is: I do something for you and you do something for me.

I quite like all the elves in fantasy, but if I had to list them in order of preference, it would probably go Wood Elves first, followed by the Dark Elves and finally the High Elves, but they're all pretty awsome

@Yvessam it is a little bit long... basically they are original high elves, whom made settlement in Old World. When sundering begun and Malekith betrayed his kin, all elves were pulled back to defend Ulthuan, but someones denied it and stay. They made their settlement near ancient forest and when winter comes and forest can´t defend itself, elfes defend it and then the forest "allow" them to live in it...and so Athel Loren, Realm of Wood Elves were created.

@makakooos It's not actually correct, entirely. Thing is, the dwarfs were cutting down trees to spite the elves for wrongdoings during the War of the Beard (I think), basically the forest spirits and the wood elves fought separately. Only out of necessity they won a great victory against the dwarfs, and since then they are 'friends'. And that's saying a lot, as neither Drycha nor that Treeman guy whose name I forgot (was it Durthu ? ) have come to accept the elves. In this version at least.

@jaspertheking4life Sorry mate but High Elves don't rule forever. If they ruled forever they wouldn't have hidden from the Dark Elves. If you read the fluff in the army books you will know that the High Elves that did not want to hide, ran out like crazy fucks, and lived in the forest. Therefore Wood Elves rule forever, because they didn't want to be cornered in their own land.

but all will fall for tha might of tha emperah of man :)

@jaspertheking4life Yes I agree we rely on stealth, but in a 1 to 1 fight the Wood Elves would win only because of their knowledge of their surroundings and how they can quickly adapt to where they are.... If Wood Elves wanted to, they could storm the High Elves and get rid of them.

And of course, teh emperah is the almighty god, BLACK TEMPLARS FTW!!!!
