  • Happnin Serg!

  • How u get of the plate with the E?

  • What I nice burst! What year is this guitar? Cause I think the vintage sunburst ain't the same one now..

  • What do you think about Gibson 57 Classic pickups on this guitar? I have the same model and color. Best regards.

  • @rcortiz The 57 Classics sound perfect on this guitar. They are the best pickups I've used on sheraton and es-335.

  • @BluesZep Thank you, I've bought the pickups five minutes ago on ebay. Happy Christmas.

  • @BluesZep Thank you, I just replace the pickups two days ago and you're right, my sheraton sounds amazing. Happy new year.

  • @rcortiz Great! Post some clips of her! Happy new year!

  • Comment removed

  • my pickguard also missing, interestingly enough.....................doesn't affect the sound!!!

  • Play it ! Enjoyed! Thanks! Peace 2 All!

  • Brilliant! Where's the backing track from? :)

  • anyone notice the pickguard is missing?

  • @Keanu034

I have a Sheraton II that I prefer playing without pickguard.

  • @Keanu034 Yeah, I noticed that

  • beautiful...

  • Que som hein ! Parabens pela guita

  • I've read that many ppl don't like the pickups on the sheraton ii. Why is this?

  • I want that finish soooo bad!

  • For maximum sheraton awesomeness make sure that you are playing in the neck position (you can actually get the "Lucille" tone, which is hard to do)

  • what amp are you playin thru?

  • Nice! What an awesome sound. I have this guitar in Black but I use is primarily for classic rock with a distorted tone. I got it at Guitar Center 2 years ago. I couldn't resist the major price break.

  • did you take the pickguard off??

  • Nice tone and nice playing, though you could work on your timing at some points. Have you ever played the Epiphone Riviera?

  • This guitar sounds awesome. B.B. would be pleased to hear this dude. I'm lovin this hollow body sound, but something is attracting me to get a Strat, plus it would be my first Strat and I feel like maybe I should start with that and then work my way up :D anyone have any advice for my decision??

  • real nice , i see you got an epiphone and a 335 , wow i wouldnt know which to pick up ,, i got a strat and 335 ,, so different ,, ha ha , love your mellow blues .,, ps that epi sounds real sweeeeet

  • nice playing. beautiful tone. What other hollow bodies do you own? What other hollow bodies did you try before deciding on this Sheraton II?

  • That is awesome!

  • im thinking about getting this guitar it will be my first electric i play acoustic right now and im like dieng to get an electric but my dads makin me wait till the end of the school year its between this or a fender mexican strat im stuck do you have any input?

  • @themanchild27 got a 2005 epiphone sheraton II! will sell u for a great price. great condition!

  • @lail4h how low are you willing to go

  • @themanchild27 i bought it new in 06. close to 700.00 with tax. it's been outside of my house two or three times. i have several guitars so i would alternate them, enabling me to keep them all clean and straight. it's not in perfect condition, but it is well taken care of. based on that, make me a realistic offer, and we'll go from there. I also have a 1969 fender princeton reverb amp for sale. looks and sounds like its been in the closet for 40 years. excellent condition!!!!!!

  • @lail4h What do you want for the Sheraton? email steverob@shoreham.net. I'm very interested if you still have it.

  • @millerhill ok been a lil busy with school and work, but i'll e-mail pics! very nice guitar. i gotta have 425.00 i want to buy another guitar.

  • Very nice. What backing track are you using?

    Thanx

  • I'm getting the Sheraton tmrw, so excited!

  • i like how u played with nobs to fit the sound u were going 4 ...nice job

  • what chords were you using? great playing man!

  • Good playing, good feeling, good sound. Bravo !

  • Boas

    great job ...

Esses pickups são de origem ?

    cumpts

  • I had that exact same set-up but I sold it pay to pay the bills. Damn, I wish I had them back.

  • i like this.ur own spin as opposed to a note for note copy.lol

  • muito bom !!!!

  • yummy tone

  • love the tone

  • Wow. Nice.

  • Boa BluesZep, gostei de ver... Tenho uma lespaul mas notei que estou sempre tendendo a usar um timbre mais pra jazz... Pensando em provar uma semiacustica, essa Sheraton parece ter um timbre massa. Continue assim!

  • i already have an ibanez as73, but i have a lot of problems with it, i dont know if it would be worth it to buy a new guitar with the same design, can somebody help please?

  • great job! keep it up man this is awesome!

  • I'm digging u w.b.

Tanto do clean quanto do drive. Tem bom volume, é fácil de transportar.

  • Good job man as always!

  • i really dig this, bb would be proud, the thrill has not gone

  • Fala Fernando tudo bem? Cara queria falar contigo, me escreve por favor! Abração!

  • Nice cover. Do you have a tab for it?

  • you look like john frusciante of the red hot chili peppers

  • rootvalue: I like your reasoning. I think everyone should read your post.

  • @Johngtr13 Thank you. :)

  • I have the exact same guitar love it!!!

  • man i need your help, your guitar is EPIPHONE SHERATON 2 DELUXE VS?, say Gibson in some place?,Obrigado

  • This guitar is just Epiphone Sheraton 2, Tobacco Sunburst. Gibson is written on truss rod cover.

  • to answer your question....it sounds like your playing the minor pentatonic scale to me.

  • great playing. what year is your guitar? thanks.

  • Thanks! It's a 1994

  • try the harmonic minor scale, it's a better feel..on this bb song in Bm

  • And what do you think I'm using?

  • thx.....good to know that there are people out there who write back

  • If you're used to Fender, having something like this in your collection will be nice. The F holes make things sound somehow richer. I'm sure you'll like it.

  • great tone man, i really love this guitar, but im used to fender guitars.....anyway, ill surely buy an epiphone......but i dont know which one.......epiphone lucille or sheraton 2........this f-holes......do they make any difference....id appreciate it, if you write back..thx tjth

  • Both are great guitars, f-holes will allow feedback, that you probably won't have using Lucille. It may be good or bad, depends of your taste.

  • FUCKING SEXUAL MAN

  • You really do play beautifully. Can I ask you where your amp EQ's are set, as well as the tone knobs on the Beautiful Sheraton II? I gotta get me one of those guitars! I have an Epi LP Standard +, and I was thinking about swapping the Pup's out for the 57 classics, but I think I'll wait and put them in a Sheraton II. I just love the tone. How does it sound with your Blues Jr.?

  • What I tend to notice is how common it is for us to want something other than what we have, regardless of whether or not we liked what they got when we first did.

I loved my Strat and then I wanted thicker tones. I love my Sheraton and now I want a Tele. You liked your LP but now you're looking for something else. :)

It's natural to want what we don't have, but try to remember how nice the things you have right now are. I'm sure your LP makes some tones a Fender-er would kill for. :)

  • Oh yes! i couldn't agree more with that, that's how i got to the point where i have eighteen guitars!!!!

I'm gonna stick to the basics now, ie Strat's, Tele's,

Les Paul's and 335's, thats all i need, oh and a decent Jumbo or Dreadnought acoustic.

  • @MITCHWILD Haha. As long as you keep in mind that earning new instruments won't make us too much happier, but finding happiness in our current situation is the true source of happiness. You can't keep up with the Jones'!

Explanation for psych. junkies: happiness adaptation consistently seeks homeostasis, like how a 'spoiled' child will be receive 'TOY X' and be entertained, whereas grateful child will receive 'TOY X' and see as a miracle. Blah, blah, blah. :)

    Mitch... please. Rock on.

  • AWESOME! :D

  • awesome, man

  • Great tone lovin it

  • omg,superb.AAA+++

  • smoooth...so smooth

  • good

  • Great playing

  • please can you tell me what amp settings you are on to get that great bb king sound

  • I don't remember exactly, but was around:

    bass: 8, middle: 5, teble: 8.

  • thanks

  • If i took your comment the wrong way and you meant there's heaps of idiots that just play fast and call it jazz, well i see where your coming from. Although it seems alot more people just shred, and say they're playing metal..

  • How the hell is "i'm too stupid to read music so i'll just make it as i go and call it jazz" a true statement. Did you even think before you wrote that. Out of all the styles, jazz and classical are the ones that rely on reading music the most. As for make it up as i go along, thats called improvisation....

  • awesome job

  • totaly awesome blues tones. great vid dude...

  • totally agree with Jacob1006

    KOL rule!

  • matty followill made these guitars ultra cool

  • nice playing !!!

  • he is my teacher !! XD :D very good video.

  • Yes...in small doses, but 5 minutes non-stop of 32nd notes means nothing if you can't play it IDENTICLE EACH TIME. It usually means; "if I slow down you'll be able to tell I know nothing about composition but I'm impressing the other geniuses as cluless as I am. That's where SOME jazz came from. "I'm too stupid to read music so I'll just make it up as I go and call it jazz"

  • missystu. thats really stupid. since when did ANY jazz come from people playing as fast as they can. listen to django, he's a hell fast player with only two working fingers on his left hand. yeah! he plays fast. are you gonna say he's shit now? coz the guy is worshipped by jazz and metal players alike and everywhere in between! there is no jazz originating from the idea that playing fast works best. all jazz begins with theory. then where you go from there is anyones guess. jazz is about freedom

  • smooth comeback. insult my gender. haha.

  • See folks? This guy is not trying to show how FAST he can ply, a punk-monkey can move fast, he's showing you how professional and GOOD he can play....QUALITY,not quantity. Nice job BluesZep!

  • Speed isn't everything, but it's useful to express yourself.

  • This is frikkin' TIGHT, dog! Awesome jammin'! YEAH!

  • great cover is that a tuneomatic roller bridge . thanks gary

  • can u do one with distorsion on it

  • hey you're the best

    i will buy sheraton

  • nice playing

  • looks kinda like rocco deluca

  • Very nice man.

  • i forgive you

  • Yo man

    Truly beautiful

did u use any kind of amp configurations or is this just the guitar?

  • He used the clean channel read info

    " Epiphone Sheraton II

    Peavey Classic 30, clean channel

    B.B. King, please forgive me!"

  • It was a pleasure jamming along with you on my bass! :D <3

A friend of mine is going to buy a sheraton too and DAMN I LOVE that sound it produces! <33

Keep up the soul in your playing man, I feel it!

    Great job!

  • sorry....but can you tell me how you put the backtrack sound? i'd like to know if it is a software or whatever...just to improvise over the backtrack....thanks! by the way....you have a very nice sound!

  • You make a fantastic sound and I have really enjoyed all your vids. I play a '98 Sheraton and on the basis of this and your other vids I just bought a Peavey Classic 30 yesterday and gigged it that same night. It rocks! I'm absolutely thrilled with it and looking forward to exploring more fully all the tonal possibilities. So thanks so much for demoing this guitar and amp combination so eloquently.

  • Hello, thank you for watching and for your words. And congrats for your new amp! I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it a lot!

  • Whered you get that backing track??? Nice job

  • god that guitar is smoking hot. Love the looks of it and can't wait to pick mine up.

  • Did you put the Classic 57s on the Sherry yet? It'd be nice to listen to a new demo if you did..

    Cheers!

  • I've had to order the mounting screws, because stock ones did't fit classic 57's. But pickups are already on guitar, just waiting for the screws. I've installed new CTS pots, and 50's wiring.

  • great tone man! you really got the blues right there! I just bought an '87 Epiphone Sheraton myself...what pickups would you consider to upgrade the tone a bit more?

  • Hi, thanks for watching!

I'll put, probably next week, a pair of '57 classics on my Sheraton. I think they will sound great on this guitar.

  • just how feedback resistant is this thing? i'm thinking about buying one and the only thing stopping me is how much distortion this thing can handle. nice video buy the way.

  • great tone! do you mic the amp, or does it have a direct out?

    Thanks! sounds GREAT

  • Thanks! This amp doesn't have direct out, I miced it for this recording.

  • is this guitar good for playing stuff like guns n roses?

    great playing btw

  • It's not the best choice, but you can play sound like guns n' roses. A Les Paul would fit better.

  • You could get away with it, the guitar resonates nicely with distortion, might need a little more powerful bridge pickup for the really raunchy riffs they have. Careful though, these will feedback with lots of gain and volume.

  • dont thank me you did a great job im just telling you know something you already know!

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • Beautiful guitar, amazing sound plus you did a great job with this cover. Congrats the most decent cover of this song ive heard so far.

  • Thanks so much!

  • sounds fantastic! nice plying too!

  • *playing :p

  • Thanks!!!!

  • Yup I was right , been listening to alot of other Ametur Guitarist doing this song , and I'm right you are the best .

  • Thanks for your words!

  • Nicely done one of the best I've heard

  • Thanks so much!

  • Good licks. I used to own a Sheraton 2 but I traded it for a Gibson BB King Lucille. I love my Lucille.

  • lol, someone took an epiphone Sheraton (sells for $600) and gave you a Gibson bb king Lucille?

the epiphone version of the Lucille is $600! the Gibson is $2799...

you got a really good deal stratman.

  • I think maybe you misunderstood. I had a Epi Sheraton II and I traded it in on a Gibson B.B King Lucille. I had bought the Epi used and had it for a couple of years so I didn't get much for it. The Lucille was $2499 new and if I remember right, they gave me about $300 for the Epi so I got the Lucille for around $2199 plus tax. I was gonna buy it anyway, regardless of what they gave me so now I've got Lucille and I love it. Now I'm thinking of buying a Les Paul Supreme.

  • Your Peavey Classic 30suits your gear and style.. seen you use it several times on YT

    Nice!

  • Thanks! In fact, i like this amp too much.

  • always loved this song....very smooth...very nice

  • nicely done, bro.

  • hahaha beautiful mate, love it

    don't stop rockin'

  • impressive

  • Love the sound. I have the same guitar with Seymour Duncans. Seth Lover at the bridge and '59 at the neck. Fitting them was interesting! Sounds nothing like yours. Maybe the Line 6 AX2 is the problem. Need to seriously think about a good tube amp.

  • Perhaps I missed it in prior comments to you and your replies, but what is the amp you are using? Thanks, Excellent tone and play my friend. Enjoyed your video.

  • Thanks! The amp is a Peavey Classic 30

  • Great sound you got outta that guitar!! Really really nice sound! Great playin' too :)

    Cheers!

  • Thanks so much!

  • Is the guitar good for pinch harmonics?

  • No, it isn't.

  • dude you are so fucking good!! excelent god bless!!

  • Thank you so much!

  • ace tone man, gnarli playing

  • I bought one of these today, they are such beautiful guitars to play. Are they gold or silver chrome pickups?

  • Gold pickup covers

  • great job . I have the epiphone casino. working this song but I have a different versing. I like yours better do you have the tabs or can you tell me where to get them.

  • Great job man, really well done. I am seriously considering buying this model by Epiphone

  • Suono molto pulito...forse ci vorrebbe un pò più di feeling...ma pazienza...

    Comunque molto bravo!

  • wow I really like the finish of your sheraton, mine's more yellow-ish. Great sound! I love the creamy tone of the sheraton!

  • really nice box, i'm thinkin' of gettin one like this, tho i think it looks better with the pickguard, imo. say how does it sound unplugged? I ask because I know it has a sustain block, and well...yea...if it's not too much trouble i'd like to hear please

  • In my opinion, she looks better with pickguard on, but unfortunatelly I've bought her without pickguard. I'm trying to find one on eBay, maybe I get a 335-style.

She has a good acoustic sound. Of course it's not too loud, but has good volume and good projection. I'll try to record something to show you hers unplugged sound.

  • i'm debating on either getting a sheraton II or a casino... they both the same price, i know the casino is little more treble-y then this and i've played both and are both really versitile... i dont know which one i want... i guess the one with the pretty headstock might win!! lol this vid helps alot with tone demo thanks....

  • I wanted an ES style pick guard for my Sheraton. The Gibson doesn't fit. The pick ups are just a hair off. I had one made custom from pickguardiansdotcom. It's looks so much better than the Epi one did.(I hated the ugly faded mock tortoise) I have upgraded to Gibson 490T/498R pickups, CTS pots, Sprague OD caps, Switchcraft jack & selector switch. Very close to the ES, but a tad brighter, due to the 5 piece neck. Just added Grover locking tuners. It's a keeper! Got about $800 in it.
