Would you suggest this surgery? I am thinking of having it. I am 28, 270 lbs. I have PCOS and I am not able to loose the weight at all. I have been trying to get pregnant for the past 2 years, unsucessful.
I was just recently dx'd, and I hope I can get that surgery. I am tired of working so hard for small amounts of water weight loss only to gain it back fast.
9)LADIES DISEASES: (Stoppage of menses for long term, stomach pain): Take one cup of warm water add half tea spoon kalonji oil and two spoons honey one time in the morning before the breakfast and in the night after dinner. Treatment may continue for month. Avoid potato and Brinjal.

My doctor sent in a referal to a Lap Band surgon but I haven't gottan a call back yet. I am egarly waiting to hear from him! But my question is do you have to pay for this surgury? and if so, how much is it costing you? (I live in Canada too)
It depends on which province you live in. It is covered in Alberta, Sask. and NWT - However, I'm not sure about others. In BC its not coveredand I have to pay 13,000. I decided to have it done in Canada because the cost elsewhere isn't much different and I'll be close to my surgeon
ohh my gosh!! I live in Nova Scotia. I bet its not covered here! Well I am so excited for your surgery! I hope everything goes well!! You will have to update us on your recovery! ;) I'll be waiting to hear!
Oh, I think it is covered there - I think you guys have better coverage - but fewer services in-province. If your Doc referred - then I think it is covered - I had to fully do this all on my own even though my doc fully supports this decision....
woooooo you have a surgery date hun. Dnt feel sad hunny, getting the band was the best thing that i could of done, and like you i can lose weight, but my issue is not maintaining it.
