I have a Cavalier and so does my cousin and sometimes we joke that we should throw body kits and fart cans on them and cruise around like we're serious racers. I didn't realize people actually did it though. Nothing against the guys in the video but why not spend all that money on a more worthwhile car, like a Mustang or Camaro?

People should just buy a real car by the time you get a cavalier like this you could afford something 10x better, 10x more dependable, and 10x faster. Cavaliers are shit, and as far as kids getting into Honda, its because Japanese cars are built better and are more dependable then shit Chevrolet's noted by the fact that GM can barely stay afloat as a company.

I think its funny that so many people talk shit about cavaliers, but I can guarantee if the cav was manufactured by some japanese car company, kids would be all over it. Now most of the cars in this video are god awful, and just riced out junk, but there are a few excelent examples of what these cars can be; 2:46, 1:16, 1:21...and thats pretty much the only clean ones in this vid...

Its the exact opposite, the car you are refering to; Toyota Cavalier, was literally just a rebadged Chevy Cavalier, obviously right hand drive, and built in Ohio. The Toyota Cavalier was the result of the New United Motor Manufacturing, inc. (NUMMI) Which was a joint effort between Toyota and GM. NUMMI resulted in alot of cars being rebadged; Geo Prism, Pontiac Vibe, ect. Toyota had absolutely no hand in designing or engineering the cavalier.

@sanchez13ar cause the difference is the price like people buy honda civics and tune them which is the japans cavalier , runs about the same price and can have the same shit done to them and they can get some good speed out of them as i have seen them run mid 11's and 12's or track racing cause that both have great handling.

as for the ugly part that's a matter of opinion as i do have a cavalier convertible that looks nice with a body kit but i refuse to put a wing on FWD

@sanchez13ar my old tuner car was a AWD1993 ford escort cosworth from the UK but i smacked into a wall with it in 2006 and fucked up the front and side of the car to where i could not afford to rebuild it so i pulled the motor and the drive train/axels to convert a US escort when i have the money.

so i do know the difference between rice tuner and show car cause as i said i have a cavalier that for cruising so it looks nice to me
